Wow clearest and most concise tutorial ever. I had been researching camera settings for over 3 hours, but I kept getting confused with all the lingo and settings, but now I understand how to change the camera settings to make them less bright. Thank you!
Finally someone who breaks it down to its simplest form. I’ve watched videos where the photographer takes ages to get to the point and doesn’t end up getting to the point anyway
Great video. I just joined an online photography course for beginners. They asks to set aperture, shutter speed and iso to such and such value without saying how to do that. So I came here and my doubts are cleared in just 4 minutes. Thank you very much.
I appreciate it when people take the time to explain in non-elitist methonds and terms. I have a D7200 and a D800, and sadly I admit that a lot of my shots I get are just out of constantly adjusting. Trying to find the perfect settings are not always the easiest of tasks when shootings indoor concerts. I do appreciate the way you explained the functions/terms. Many thanks!
Thank you. Pulling my hair out trying to do a 20s long exposure without my D3200 changing to F22. Now I have it working at 1600iso 20s F3.5. The stars never looked so good. For that help and because your in the best city in the world you have a new subscriber.
And thankYOU for that too. I am setting my camera to these numbers and am so excited to be doing som astrophotography tonight. I am camping in a super-dark spot and the stars look amazing! Last night I was so frustrated trying to change things about but this tutorial helped me and now I am set to go (I had ISO on auto).
Thanks for sharing your immense knowledge of cameras and photography. It has been quite helpful. You have a skill of making the instruction very clear and understandable!
Thank you for the great explanation. I bought a book on the D3100 a friend gave me. But still couldn't figure out how to change the f stop and iso. After this quick tutorial it was so straightforward!
Excellent tutorial, I didn't undestand why my pics were sometimes over expose, under expose and blured. I now have a better understanding from your tutorial. I am now taking better photos after watching your tutorial. Thank you
Thanks for such an informative video. Your explanations of the three main functions of the Nikon D Series Cameras was far better than most books I have read so far. Thanks again.
It took me reading the instruction manual, playing around with the settings, as well as asking around and then finally finding this video for me to figure out how to change the f/stop and the shutter speed
i find your every video very useful and very easy to understand.thank you.im a nikon d3300 user and your videos and tips are helping me a lot.im hoping for more videos to come from you :)
Very educational. I have a B500 Nikon camera and when outside, I can't see the monitor as it doesn't light up enough for me to see what I am trying to take a shot of. I have the monitor set at 5. How do I change this so I can actually see my subject on the monitor. At present, it is too dark to see anything outside in the sunlight. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this! I just bought my first dslr. My last camera was a manual Nikon I bought 20 years ago. I gave up photography when everything went digital. Now I gotta learn how these work.
I looked on here thinking you were going to show us how to set slow shutter speed on a Nikon P900, like it says in your heading, the P900 is nothing like a DSLR, so I was unable to work it out from this video. Apart from that if you are DSLR user then its spot on.
Thank you so much sir. I really gained knowledge about the Manual Mode after seeing your video. Really it was great to have this idea. Thanks ones again
I have the D5300 and your video was very helpful. I'm not so good at taking pictures, and some guy made some settings again and again, 'till i was f***ed up with them.. Now I know how to use it better. A gratefull thank you from me! :-)
Thank you very much for sharing, I saw other longer tutorials which didn't even talked about the fn button use to change iso but you made a very short and easy to understand video. 😊
