This was my stepdad’s fave song. He raised me, my real father was never there. My stepdad raised me as one of his own and was always there for me, even later in life when he didn’t have to be. He passed away about 5 years ago. I have so many good memories of us with this song playing. Thank you for this amazing cover. I know he’d like it too.
That's awesome. That's exactly how my step-dad was with me. He passed away but I had some great memories with him. I had always called him dad cause he was the only one there for me. I never looked at him as a step-dad, only as my dad. And I was proud to have had him as my father. So I totally understand how you felt about your step-dad. It's definitely an awesome feeling having such great memories.
33 years ago I married my great wife and shortly afterwards adopter her (and now my) daughter. Comments like yours mean a lot and I have no doubt those men love both of you greatly.
this in reply to all of you ,these story's truly touch my heart ,now I would very much like to share a much like with with you all . my little girl 30 something now but at the time she was 18 teen married a young man who had just had a newborn son with a less then well you get it , anyway my wife who had a very bad health issue 3 years before at 35 now at the time I was almost 40 .took to that little beautiful 2 week old and he is 16 teen now and the most wonderful Grandson any one could hope to have in your life . so it is all about the person not the blood ,with all my love and respect thank you and peace out .

Andreea's voice has matured so much in the past 6 months its like she's a different person. However she needs a vocal coach to take her where she needs to be to become at the level of a David Coverdale, Ann Wilson, Sharon Den Adel, etc etc. Would your wife be able to contact Jon Lord and get them to look at this recording, and review her vocal performance.. Would be great if Mr. Coverdale might want to review her singing of this song, and get him to give her tips on how to sing properly. Andreea could walk into any karaoke bar and impress the crowd. A bunch of drunks in a bar, and a bunch of youtube fans who are looking at free content they're never going to have to pay for, are not true and real music critics who will give real reviews. 3:04 - Andreea did such a phenomenal job hitting that high note that it reflects so much potential. Andreea's real problems are in her lower register. IMO she will never make it as an international singing artist until she corrects some of these problems. Posted with much respect!! This guitar player is where he needs to be to make a break through. This band needs original material and the lead singer needs a producer who knows how to pull the best vocal out of a singer to have a sit down with her to take her where she needs to be.
