Aye, IMY2 has a knack for respecting the source material a lot. Even though it is always original, because of the slight differences (guitar sound) or the bigger ones (Annalises vocals). This is a unique song in their catalog of covers where the most impressive stuff isn't just Annalise, but the guitar solos do a great job of competing for the crown. I wish I could play like this!

Come on, really? I like this group and think they're very talented. But to say you like this version better (everyone is entitled to their opinion) is sacrilege! The beauty of the lead and clarity of her voice is outstanding...but the soul and grit of Axl Rose isn't there. Axl changed tempo and hit highs with his "best rock n roll front man ever" voice! And his almost whispering "where do we go now" building up to the high notes only he can deliver believably on this classic! So much emotion in his voice. These guys are excellent musicians...But they aren't Slash nor Duff. That's not an insult. I've been impressed by imy2 since I became aware of them through TH-cam. I know this; I've been a fan of G N R since the beginning and over the years I've had Corvettes, Porsches and Turbo Z's ( Always with a kickass stereo system I had put in over the stock premium systems) and I blast this song and unintentionally get a heavy foot and I'm going 100mph and enjoying every minute of the original Sweet Child O Mine!

And the vocals... well, their vocalist can hit the notes, but I don't feel nearly the emotion behind it. She can't hold a candle to A. Neither can their guitarist, not nearly as clean and emotive. Why the algorithm blessed them is beyond me. Maybe it was their sponsor? Dunno.

Just found this band tonight with their cover of Blondie's "Call Me" (which is terrific). This led me to many more of their videos which I'm enjoying. The video work is excellent and I appreciate the opportunities to see the guitars up close. I don't play guitar but are always fascinated by how the artists make the sounds and manipulate the strings. Great work!

@@leslie-rn7zv Very hard disagree. I looked up their vid. First off, the production was very noisy, not nearly as clean as this one. And the vocals... well, their vocalist can hit the notes, but I don't feel nearly the emotion behind it. She can't hold a candle to A. Neither can their guitarist, not nearly as clean and emotive.
Why the algorithm blessed them is beyond me. Maybe it was their sponsor? Dunno.

PERFECT!! OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHH!!! I've never heard such a good cover! Absolutely beautiful. I have perfect pitch and to not hear a SINGLE out of tune note from anything or the vocals is incredible!

Just found this band tonight with their cover of Blondie's "Call Me" (which is terrific). This led me to many more of their videos which I'm enjoying. The video work is excellent and I appreciate the opportunities to see the guitars up close. I don't play guitar but are always fascinated by how the artists make the sounds and manipulate the strings. Great work!
