Would appreciate any suggestions. 2012 Polaris 800 Razor EFI hesitates at 45-50 mph. 45 is about 6350rpm. Not really a sputter or cough. Repairman just cleaned throttle body and fuel injectors and said idle air circuit was partially open causing a misfire at that speed. None of the work performed solved the issue. One person suggested the primary and secondary cluthes might be fighting each other. No idle issues. Need to get it fixed pretty quick so we can sell it and move, but I want it to be right. I should also mention that it has full power no issues 0-45. No codes, no engine light. Always at that speed only.Thanks. Appreciate anything.
Have the clutches been serviced? I would start with inspecting the clutches. Check for pitting and wear grooves. The clutch sheeves will dip down with grooves if the clutches are wore down. Also does it try to take off when it’s in gear and your not pressing on the throttle?
My 2021 CanAm X3 Max DS Turbo has a stutter when taking off with light throttle. I have 32" tires, up from 28"OEM. Replaced the clutch spring with the black spring, weights and fingers. Now on my 3rd belt, none have broken, but can't seem to get rid of the stutter. In process of breaking in new belt. Any advice?
Did you change out weights when you changed the spring in the clutches? The bigger tires add more weight and if you carry a lot of supplies like we do, that could be contributing to your issue. Stuttering at take off usually means a belt issue but if it’s doing it on a new belt, then you prolly have a grip issue. Meaning the clutches cant grip the belt enough because of the increased weight. I’ve learned clutching isn’t a 1 size fits all. It’s definitely something you have to dial in depending on what type of riding you do.
Yes but on our personal machines I do a 3rd cycle in high fluctuating from 25 to 45 mph in high for another 5 miles. After letting it rest for another 30 mins, then it’s good to go. I’m overkill though, 3rd cycle is not required but I’m just overly cautious.
I put a new oem belt on my 2014 ranger because of regular wear and slippage under pressure (original belt) soon as I changed it out when I let off the accelerator it raises all kinda cane (death squeal )that it didn’t make with the old belt .. any help would be appreciated
Sorry you feel that way. Our intent in us saying "show your support by hitting the subscribe button" was not to come off as begging but to explain to viewers how they can show support if what we provide them through our educational videos had value to them. Either way, we do appreciate you watching the video.
U cant be serious? Saying show support if this helped you and subscribe isnt begging. What a asshat. Good on u sir for being nice rather than tellin him to go suckstart a Mossberg. 😂 subbed

Is it normal to smell burning rubber when I stop riding? I have under 2 miles on the new belt.
I smelt some weird smells on a new machine when first breaking it in. Once broke in, you shouldn’t have any of those smells.
@Trail Kings ya. I put some more miles on it and the smell is gone.
Good deal.
So after the second 5 mile, low gear, and speed fluctuations ill be able to go "full" throttle?

@@trailkings thanks for the quick response sir. And I will also do the 3rd cycle as you instructed. Thanks again
