But in KD’s defense he’s living in the league that LeBron created where you have three all-stars (maybe even superstars) on one team to win…that’s just the reality of the NBA nowadays. It’s been that way for almost a decade outside of the 2011 Mavs, 2019 Raptors, & 2020 Lakers. If LeBron doesn’t set that precedent of joining other stars in free agency to make powerhouse teams maybe KD doesn’t play on the teams he’s played with up to this point in his career (excluding OKC because they drafted him) so even though I like a more balanced competitive league like how it was this year (2021) even though it was due to a lot of injury I can’t fault KD for adapting to what the league has formed into.
Slim Reaper could have one of greatest returns in NBA history is he's healthy enough and tops it off with his 2nd mvp and win his third championship in Brooklyn like that would historic for sure.
