She was amazing, I almost can’t watch because it reminds me of real life scenes I have seen. I loved the Hawkins character and Violet is really an anchor in the show.
you could even seen how violet locked into place almost if she was frozen, the thought of seeing someone you love being crushed to death right in front of you, is heartbreaking
Even though I was certain Hawkins was going to die after the episode teaser, they really did a good job at making me think we were about to lose Gallo in the fire.

Violets preformance was spot on every feeling.. i really hope they dont just pretend this didnt happen and throw her in gallos arms.. i cant even see them as more than friends after what she had with Hawkins.. whyyyy kill him off?? Finally a couple with chemistry.. Stella and Severide are so stiff.. like casey and gaby

I think the writers are just seeing what ridiculous shit they can come up with now to amuse themselves. Kelly takes on an entire drug operation and comes out unscathed but Hawkins gets pinned under a collapsing roof? Sure, why not?!! 🤦♂️
Rhis is the best acting I've seen for a tragedy like this on this show for sure, others as well most likely. Trully rips out the heart, her acting is amazing, but the others add to it with their looks and Chief Boden trying to calm her down... Really intense

They dig them out and they look beaten up but in reality they would be flat as a pancake there is no way that much concrete and stone falling on top of you would not flatten you like a pancake. Their skulls would be cracked and brains and blood would be spilling out. The chest would have every rib broken and caved in.

@@drowning_dramas yes but he was the chief and he made a decision, Violet would have been in serious trouble for doing that, Chief Hawkins made a decision, he saved the patient and paid with his life. I'm a first responder too and I did took the risk few times I was yelled at and yelled at some more but I knew that the person yelling at me did it too, we are kinda weired like that

As firefighter even if this is a tv show I can almost feel her pain this happens to me when my friend died in front of me when tree collapsed on him.
