Great vid! Just some minor constructive criticism though, a lot of people (including me) feel the satisfaction of hearing the platinum sound so maybe in the future don’t replace the sound in fact maybe amplify it a bit.👍
Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve included the sound in my other videos. I actually messed up the audio when recording so unfortunately had no choice. I agree with you 100% though and I’ll be sure no issues arise for the future. Thank you again!

If you thought Tiny was easy cause of the cheese, there's also cheese with Dingodile that makes him even easier - If you slide spin jump (go into a spin as soon as you jump from a slide) you'll get a little bit extra height on your jump, that height is just enough to jump over all three of the crystal barriers, so you can slide spin jump to him, hit him, then slide spin jump back to the other side before he ever even gets a single attack off.
Oh wow I had no idea about that dingo cheese! I knew you could slide spin jump or atleast I found that out during the time trials, but that’s cool to know you could speed up that boss fight

In case anyone is confused about the structure of the game and about the optimal order in which to do the levels with minimal backtracking, here's a guide I made. Let me know if I made a mistake (though I doubt I made any).
As with Crash 2, every level in Crash 3 has either one gem (box gem), or two gems (box gem plus a hidden gem, which may or may not be a colored gem), always in addition to having 1 Crystal and 1 Relic. And there are 5 bosses, one at the end of each warp room (except the sixth secret warp room) that give you a new ability when you beat them. The final boss (Warp Room 5 boss) gives you the 'Crash Dash' ability, that is essential to getting Gold relics.
WARP ROOM 1
In 1. Toad Village, get only gem.
In 2. Under Pressure, get only gem.
In 3. Orient Express, get only gem.
In 4. Bone Yard, get box gem.
In 5. Makin' Waves, get only gem.
WARP ROOM 2
In 6. Gee Wiz, get only gem.
In 7. Hang'em High, get box gem.
In 8. Hog Ride, get only gem.
In 9. Tomb Time, get only the crystal.
In 10. Midnight Run, get only gem.
WARP ROOM 3
In 11. Dino Might, get only the crystal.
In 12. Deep Trouble, get both gems.
In 13. High Time, get both gems.
In 14. Road Crash, get only gem and find the secret exit to Hot Coco.
>In Hot Coco, get only gem.
In 15. Double Header, get only gem.
WARP ROOM 4
In 20. Tomb Wader, get both gems.
In 16. Sphynxinator, get both gems.
In 17. Bye Bye Blimps, get only gem.
In 18. Tell No Tales, get only gem.
In 19. Future Frenzy, get only the crystal.
WARP ROOM 5
In 23. Flaming Passion, get both gems.
In 21. Gone Tοmorrow, get both gems.
In 22. Orange Asphalt, get only gem.
In 24. Mad Bombers, get only gem.
In 25. Bug Lite, get box gem.
After beating the Warp Room 5 boss and getting the Crash Dash ability, you must replay the levels to get the Gold Relics (including in Eggipus Rex and Hot Coco), so you can ignore the other gems for now. For every 5 relics you get, you unlock a level in the Secret Warp Room, found in the middle of the hub. At 25 relics, all 5 levels should be unlocked (even Sapphire relics do this, but you'll still need the Gold ones for 105%). After having unlocked these levels, you can proceed with your gem hunt...
SECRET WARP ROOM
In 26. Ski Crazed, get only gem.
In 27. Alt Hang'em High, get hidden gem.
In 28. Area 51?, get both gems.
In 29. Alt Future Frenzy, get both gems.
In 30. Rings of Power, get both gems.
At this point, you should have enough items to complete earlier levels. So it's time to backtrack.
In 4. Bone Yard, get hidden gem.
In 9. Tomb Time, get both gems.
In 11. Dino Might, get both gems, and find the hidden exit to Eggipus Rex.
>In Eggipus Rex, get only gem.
In 25. Bug Lite, get hidden gem.
Once you've acquired all gems so far (44/45) and gotten a Gold or Platinum relic in every level (including Eggipus Rex, Hot Coco, and the 3 Secret Warp Room levels that have a relic), a 45th gem will spawn in the main hub where Coco usually is, allowing you to get the 105% ending. At this point, you shouldn't be missing anything except maybe some easy miscellaneous trophies, that you can look up on your own, and the DLC.
DLC
In 31. Future Tense, get both gems.
This DLC level has trophies involved and, if downloaded, is accessible from the beginning of the game, via a platform found in between Warp Rooms 1 and 2. I recommend you leave it for the end. The trophies include a misc trophy and one for getting both gems. There is thankfully no trophy for getting a relic, so you can skip it (tho getting it can get you to 108% completion).
I liked Crash 3 a lot as a kid. I'd love to revisit it soon and think about the game's level design as I play it.

Crash 3 was the most fun I’ve ever had getting a Platinum. I was never pissed off like I was with Crash 1 (Fuck The High Road).
I hate the high road 😂 I was never pissed during this either which is a good point. It was just too different for me. Crash 4 is a different beast entirely.

Trophy hunter here with 21 plats so far, my proudest being Persona 5 or Bloodborne. Watching through all your videos while finishing up Assassins creed 2 and loved your content so much you made me want to attempt the 4 crash games. I may love or hate you for this! Keep up the great content

Fun fact, in the original crash 3 you could skid jump over the crystals and just hit dingodile. You could kill him in around 40 seconds

Vs dingodile. You dont need to wait for him to blast down the crystals. Just slide-jump over them all, spin attack him, then slide-jump all the way back out. They should have thrown cheese at us for that as well.

A tip for if you disnt know when you vs Dingo dile, you can crouch slide double jump over the crystals land on inside the barrier and spin and hit him. Slide doube jump back out and bam. Easy boss fight! Love your content man. Do you play only crash? Speed runs, 100+ percent the game, anything else ? What about spyro trilogy?

The reason they throw cheese at you is because theres a phase for skipping a section unintentionally called cheese. And they threw cheese because in the main game because in the original games it wasnt intended

You can cheese that hot coco by slowing triggering the nitro boxes and it won't kill you, something to do with the hit box, and you can literally clear it in less than 2 seconds!

This is the Crash game I got closest to platnuming. Was ONE trophy away which was the gold relics but that same level you said you messed up on was one of two I couldn't get. I think it's called HANGIN' OUT and the other was the hidden future level. Just could NOT get the gold in either level.

So far I've gotten platinum on Crash 1 and all I'm missing are about 8 gold relics on Crash 2 for platinum. Haven't started Crash 3 yet, but I literally canNOT get the gold relic on the Eel Deal level on Crash 2. I have tried COUNTLESS times and just cannot seem to get lucky enough for the RNG of the spiky bar dudes on my side. It sucks cuz I wanna finish it, but I just can't seem to do it :/
I don’t recall that level exactly but keep at it! If I can do it, you can too. Try watching someone do it on TH-cam as well if it helps
For the 99 lives. Same level but at the start. Slide backwards theres another life. So 5 for a run and reset for those who dont know!

@@3PointGaming Normal levels are good too. Then again when it comes to the water ski levels in the remake they control worse than on the original game. I probably would've said Crash 2 is my favorite too if not for the jetpack levels and dark levels. Combining Polar with darkness isn't the best thing. I find the boulder levels sort of meh as well since they're all just being chased and nothing more. Crash 3 combined chases with side platforming and then forward 3D platforming in the same level. Also has less backtracking than Crash 2 for gems. If anything I'll say the plane levels aren't the most fun, then again they're both short and very easy to platinum relic. Underwater levels control very good. Most of all Crash 3 levels feel way more diverse and different looking to each other than Crash 2 and 1.

Surprised you didn’t acknowledge that the relics and gems can bug out and not get counted in your save causing you to have to restart a on a new file.

I think that is better go to hell than obtain that platinum, you need to achieve all platinum relics and also complete every level of the game smashing all the boxes and without die in the same time

I platinumed crash 1 and 2 but only got through 70 % of crash 3 purely because I found it to be meh I think we all play these games as we are 90s children and it’s the nostalgia involved love it though 😎
I also think Crash 3 is meh now but going into it I thought it would be the best!
This series was considered hard long before Crash 4... So it's definitely NOT because of Crash 4. If I had to guess after playing n.sane trilogy it would say the game got this reputation right from the first one.

Nice dude trilogy down! I agree with you on 3 I didn't like it nearly as much as the others it was a bit unfun and easy but apart from that it was still enjoyable to 100%. I see in your other comment you are gonna go for CTR and all I gotta say Is good luck with the time trials, once you properly learn the mechanics and earn them all you're gonns look back at them and go man those are easy now lol

@Zusse: Third game is the easiest of the trilogy, the levels were designed around the time trials, the other games weren't and I have the Platinum for both 2 and 3 only and I never played the original Crash 2 on PS1.
Just finished platinums on the trilogy. crash 2 and 3 were so easy compared to the first

You didn't seem to have done the extra level, which has I think 2 achievements to it on Steam.
So you only need to do the base game stuff for the platinum. I left the two extra levels from crash 1 and crash 3 to make a separate shorter video before I played crash 4 and now I’m all done with the main games
