- I learned pretty quickly why Naughty Dog scrapped Stormy Ascent... In this video I'll finally get the 100% completion for all trophies in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy!

Honestly HARDEST LEVEL for time trials. I swear it took me 6H doing gold relic.
Stormy Ascent is insane. I walked in with 99 lives and walked out with 62. This level was actually removed from the original game because it was so hard.
I was in a similar boat! Idk how many exactly but easily over 30 lives lost
Yeah, no wonder. It was replaced by Slippery Climb. And even though Slippery Climb is a tone-down version of Stormy Ascent, it's still one of the hardest levels in the original game.
Then again, imagine the fame you would get in your neighborhood if you were the only one who completed it. :D
Luckily we have a new surge in saddist hard gaming in the 2010s and 2020s😆

Fun fact: the removed Crash 1 level was originally a colored gem stage. Had they not remove this stage, if you wanted to 100% the game... This had to be one of the first levels you need to tackle before attempting to get the rest of the gems.
This also would've meant that in the remake trilogy, you'd be forced to do this entire run deathless. Crash 1, all gems are tied behind all boxes AND deathless. In the remake, they made only the color gems deathless, which would've include this level.
Whoever pushed for this level being removed save million dollars worth of controllers in two different generations.

Stormy accent was such a hard level to get the relic for. Got the gem no problem but the time trial took me days and days! Great video mate

For myself this game contributed to game anxiety 😂😂😂 I'd always get the jitters when tryna jump for things. It's a good laugh looking back at it now. Thanks for sharing this it's lovely ❤

I haven’t played Crash 2 in a month because of school but the Stormy Ascent level from Crash 1 took me 5 tries to beat for all the boxes while the time trial I beat it in the first try.
Dang you killed it then! You should work your way up to Crash 4 eventually. It’s a real challenge

Nah cause this was the most trouble I had out of all the levels, probably took me a good 6 hours maybe to get the relic and the gem but I got the platinum last night and already doing crash 2 now, your videos are inspiring bro! Keep it up! Mad love over here.

Dude! You're seriously N Sane! I can't believed you've done all these. I got 103% on the first. Can't get any further. I got 100% on 2 and can't seem to get anymore. And the 3rd one I can't even get the lowest relic on those damn motorcycle levels. You're nuts.

The two hardest levels ended up being my two most favorite levels in th trilogy. Loved these two a lot.

i died the most on the high road time trail i had to do it at least 700 tries till i got the gold trophy for it so glad i finally got it
The level "Stormy Ascent" teached me the lesson of: "Crash jumps can be high or low (also somewhere in between), so you better learn how to execute them correctly if you want some platforms IN THIS SPECIFIC LEVEL to be somewhat easier". Because guess what, I could make the platinum relic times for the rest of the game without worrying too much about how high I jumped. In fact, to make it more "standard", I always made the high jump, and after a few hours of practicing "Stormy Ascent" I actually began to do different jumps depending on the situation. It have been actually a good lesson, making Crash 2 easier, specially the polar levels.
I feel your pain man. I’m glad they removed stormy Ascent from the original game honestly! I should’ve played it before crash 2 because just like you, it would’ve helped on those damn ice levels lol
I'm also doing Crash 4 now, and it's draining all my powers. Man, last 3-4 levels took me like 3 days to complete on platinum time.

@@3PointGaming agreed. Still to this day I have not passed by the bridges. Its really hard due to how easily is to fall off because I got use to the classic Crash Bandicoot games.
I’m pretty sure I did the same thing thinking the trophy was the gold relic for future tense. Wasn’t particularly difficult anyway so didn’t really waste my time on it.
Stormy accent however, fuck that time trial. I’ve put hours into that trying and can never get past about half way. Only trophy I haven’t got on the whole trilogy
I agree Future Tense really wasn’t too bad at all. I got it done within an hour, probably less. Stormy Ascent literally took hours of attempts
Stormy ascent was rough but I found the road to no where levels especially the second one the most messed up it took me a while to get that shit down lol 😂 but congrats on getting all 3 done brother 👍 I will some day do crash 3 100 % like I have the other 2 I just need to find the desire and watching these vids are getting me there 💪🏻
I’m glad the vids make you want to play them! If you beat Crash 1 and 2 then Crash 3 will be a breeze
After I completed Crash 1 with some hideous grind of "Stormy Ascent" I lost a lot of will for completing the whole series, I took a several months break before beggining Crash 2, which I have ~70% completed. Keep the morale up! 🔥

I had played this level so many times that I knew the timing down to a tee, I just had to actually be good at the game, I had to turn the music off just so I could focus😂

Stormy Ascent is unintentionally difficult in the n sane trilogy because its quite glitchy. 9/10 the glitches goes against you too
Oh wow I didn’t know that. It was easily the hardest level for sure
2:46 is 1 example of how glitchy it is. When you try go for the platinum then you see ALOT of glitches. Well done for completing it though!
As soon as I saw the video I was like - I wonder if he has as much trouble with that jump at the very bottom of the level as I did

I didn't attempt stormy ascent until after beating cortex and it turns out that crash 1 doesn't award you the 1% game completion due to a glitch if you do it in that order. not that it really matters though since I got the platinum relic eventually.

I gave up both in this AND in cash 4 overall. Crash 4 is fun, but they clearly should have split those levels in three. It's so annoying that I just gave up and I won't bother playing it anymore.
There's so many levels in Crash 4 that should have been split into smaller levels I agree, and the Nverted mode needs to be scrapped entirely! Otherwise I like the Nsanely Perfect Relics and the Platinum Time Trials requirement but that's just personal preference of course! It would be such a good game with shorter levels

4 mins is overly generous for Stormy Ascent, If played slightly competently you'd finish it with like 20 seconds to spare, and after a few runs of Future Tense it becomes a joke.
And yet crash 4 is still harder then this

Stormy ascent was punishing but the real challenge was the gold relic also couldn’t you potentially skip a level time trial like the high road as the trophy sais get gold or higher on only 26 levels and stormy ascent is 27th one and you get a trophy for so have to do stormy ascent anyway

That one is interesting. To the hardest levels of Crash 4, I 'd say it's easier than some of those especially in the final world of Crash 4, but it's harder than a lot of earlier levels in that game for sure because you can't double jump or slide
