- Speedrun Astro's Playroom's Platinum Trophy OR ELSE! In this video, I speedran the platinum trophy for the ps5 launch title, Astro's Playroom! I tried to speedrun this platinum trophy in under 5 hours! The reason for that is that's how long the trophy guide said it would take. Anyways, more platinum trophy speedrun videos coming!

I know this game is pretty basic beyond the haptic feedback, but this was still one of those plats I was kinda bummed when it was over. Replaying a game after the plat just isn't the same 😕

Yeah thats why im kinda glad i played miles morales on ps5 cause it doesnt stack backwards for ps4 so i can experience gettin the platinum again at some point
agreed. Playing elden ring after platinum wasnt the same either. It felt bland.

Apart from being the best demo for a console, Astro's Playroom was kind of nostalgic because if you think about it it shows you the evolution of one of the companies that grew many many generations, which is of course Playstation. When he unlocked the PS5 artifact I was proud of Sony for no apperant reason and I am eager to see wth the will come up with for the PS6!

Multi taps allowed local co-operative play before online existed, with other memory cards and extra controllers. The little Astrobots with the Camera's are referencing Playstation Games, that one is Journey. Took me 2 days to 100% on my main account, but only 5 hours and 23 minutes to 100% on my second account. Only the Rabbit suit is hard to control, and there is Speedrun challenge using it.

This was one of the first games I ever played on my ps5 and got the platinum trophy and 100% in 3 days, but after I did that I realized I couldnt get myself to play the game again. Its like this game makes you play it once and leave
The multitap was a device on the PS1 and PS2 that let's you play multi-player with more than 2 players, making it up to 8 players, I believe, and you were able to add 8 memory cards. It was very rare for kids with no money to come across, but it came in handy for WWE Smack down vs. Raw series or basketball.

1:46 The Playstation much like the PS2 only had two controller ports. The Multitap allowed you to plug in 4 controllers. Some games in the Playstation library required you to have the Multitap to play certain games.
This trophy is truly painful I played this game for so long to get all puzzle pieces and the platinum trophy
This game was pretty easy but fun platinum. It has many details what I appreciate about it . It’s a really good game tho

I did the collectables in each world as I went through them. The only thing I went back to each world for was the individual challenges for specific trophies.

Alexa got confused there, she was talking about when it came to the north American Market. PS1 was released on December 3rd 1994, this game even mentions that in it's final stage which is a throwback to 1994.

Just for info, the Multitap was a device that allowed you to connect 4 controllers instead of just 2 for multiplayer games. Obviously once wireless came out, there was no need for it.
I loved playing this when it came out and now this video makes me want to play through again 🎉
