I love your videos! I just bought my first home and am doing a lot more cooking now. I love researching my Polish family history and now, I'm exploring this history in the kitchen!! I hope you keep posting more videos
@@ThePolishChef Just made it for my family. There is so much flavour for such a simple recipe. Please pass our compliments to your wife as well; her spice mix filled the kitchen with aromas I did not know I needed in my life!
You remind me of my Polish Dad, who passed away 11-28-23. He was a great cook, a fantastic Dad to my 3 brothers and I, and a wonderful husband of 57 years to our Mom. My Mom and Dad would make so many of these foods, but I never paid attention.... dumb kid! Now that my kids are older and my husband loves my cooking (finally!), I'm going to treat them all to an authentic Polish Christmas. I'm going to treat myself to a good Polish beer afterward in honor of my Dad! wesołych świąt i szczęśliwego nowego roku
Nice to see you on your channel. We sat on the same plane from Copenhagen to Katowice one year ago. I was intrigued by your life story. Good luck! Keep going strong
Welcome back Dariusz ! It’s good to see you cooking again. I made this soup last week and it was outstanding. My wife and daughter really enjoyed it. I’m making it again today. Wszystkiego najlepszego i do zobaczenia !

This looks very tasty! I plan on making it tonight :D DONT FORGET TO LIKE THE VIDOE If anyone is also interested, I wrote down some of the ingredients for my shopping list. I'll copy it below Chicken thighs 2 teaspoons of hung. Spice mix (paprika 3/4C, Leaf Marjoram 1/2C, salt 2T, Garlic powder 2T, pepper 1T, Onion powder 2T) White Onions Carrots Parsnip Celery Cabbage 4 cups of chicken broth 20 minutes Quarter cup of pasta (imma used egg noodle) Another 10 minutes Sourdough bread and beer as sides Toppings are a tiny dollop of sour cream and chopped parsley
That is one thick soup!! I don't think that you really needed any pasta added, that soup looks like it would be able to stand on it's own!! At least you used orzo, which is pretty much like rice. The addition of paprika and cabbage really make it an Eastern European recipe!! Glad to see you back! Take care!
I’ve made your pierogis and they were perfect! I watched your chicken soup instructions and remain confused as to how much pasta to use. I heard 1/4 cup, but I heard it twice. Please advise. Thank you, g
Glad your back an cooking up some my favorite simple meals. Is it your wife's secret I ingredients that your useing and are all of the ingredients used as a teaspoon? Thanks for sharing 😊
My bubba used to make a dish with bread dough on the bottom, and a mix of cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and cinnamon, poured over the top, then baked. I still make it. Any idea what it’s called? I want to call it something that sounds like “plutzak”.
