style is like a passive background computer application that refines your taste with every shot you take, and then after a few years of culling your collection, you'll notice the patterns of your style etc.

The shaking wine glass was distracting. Kept wondering if it was going to spill when I should have been listening more. Enjoyed the video though

The price I pay for a silly satirical portrayal of pretentious art critics eh? 😂
      Glad you enjoyed the video

Just looked at her work. Very cool, thank you for the recommendation! Once payday rolls around again I’ll look at picking up a copy of her new book 😊

Yeah I know, I did my best to fix it in post. I’ve just purchased this brand new voice recorder. I had it set up for recording ambient sounds previously and I forgot to change the settings.
I hope you weren’t too distracted and you were still able to enjoy the video.

great video. Style really comes into its own when you are trying to be hired for commercial work. More so for fashion etc. I started with shooting stuff on the streets then started working more in fashion. But my lack of a strong style was hard initially for agents. As it turns out most clients are not that creative and can only see whats in front of them. SO style = brand = easy to get your head around = i can see my product in this scenario = you are hired = i get paid around. I also agree with the world of street photography at the moment. It seems more of a group love for each other over actual substance. I see a lot of NY photographers with very MEH work but they are considered enough to be on a video. The problem with social media is also its grace. Anyone can put themselves out there as an expert
