I bought two of the Flash Q20's and it's a nice system, you can double up with both on a bracket for a stronger output! The biggest down side of the Flash Q20 for me is you can't set individual power outputs to two flash Q20's. What you set for one, is also set for the other. The only way around that is manually setting a different power output on the back of one of your Flash Q20's, then remotely firing both. At it's price point, and what you can do with it, that isn't a complaint!
I picked up a set of Flash Q triggers from Robert's a few months ago. My set came with a transmitter and 2 receivers. they work great on my X-Pro2 triggering my Lumopro LP180's. The best part is they weigh next to nothing.
You realize when you fired you X100 at 1/2000 and 1/4000 the SS was red? That is because you need to stop it down to get those actual shutter speeds. At f/2.8 it cannot actually reach those speeds, hence the red color. Read the manual.
I gave up, my units were so believably buggy. Having a flash working sporadically is not something acceptable in my analogue sphere. Back to my Yongnuo RF603N II units - sure, they are much larger, but they never miss a beat.
Hi there, Thanks for the video. I bought the Flash q 20 for my x100f but can’t get it to work off camera. I followed the sync instructions and can adjust the flash power but not get it to flash unless it’s on camera and using commander mode flash. What am I doing wrong? What are the correct settings for setting up flash on my x100f when using the q20, and how do I get it to work via radio control and not triggered by the camera flash? Thank you, Keith
Heads up if you wanna do a meaningful video. Godox and flashpoint now have a designated R2 transmitter with ttl and HSS Just ordered mine coming in 3 weeks. Plus they made a lithium ion speedlight with the same features plus built in master control for R2
Hello will the triggers will work with analog cameras eos ? Or older like canon A1 ? I also have a metz flash will this resever work with this flash ? Thank you

Thank you for a review. It really answers me how the leaf shutter in X100 series works with this flash.
Nice review but I wish you showed a few real world photos... using the flash
Its really nice you can put the flash on your pocket...

Can you recommend a mini softbox that will work with the Q20II...? It doesn't have a "beak"...it's flat at the front...appreciate your idea on this...
What a cool setup!

Ha nice! I just finished my review of this too! Did you actually like it?
Sully Cortez On the x100f it’s great because of the size and the fact you can get 1/4000 sync with the leaf shutter.
Does the flash work with micro four thirds cameras?
Waiting on order, need these badly. Shooting at night in NYC, homeless and can really use these seriously. I am headed out tonight to shoot. F!!!!@
Sorry no TTL no deal!
