I'm a new Dotting enthusiast and, thus far, it's been an amazing journey learning all the different ways to make a beautiful piece of art. The ball-point dotting tools, to me, are the most challenging to figure out. The spacing seems to be more challenging with the bigger ball-points. I practice tons on black paper to get the feel before I start a time consuming piece. Thank you so much for your tutorials. Loving them!

The nail dotting tool is also called a stylus in art/craft supplies. The cupcake tool is also called a modeling tool. Just FYI when searching. Thanks for a great video, it helps to see how it’s done, bravo.

@@jessyddesigns3109 Thank you! I have used the most random things to try to get nice even dots. I'm just recently getting back into this and I took a break because I kept having the same issue. I paint rocks with acrylic paint, and almost every time my first center dot- would not come out right. So I'd end up with a finished rock, and most other dots would be fine, except the white center one. I tried different sizes, colors & tools. It didn't matter, I practice first, still same result. I was wondering if you ever had that happen? It's so frustrating and I don't want to give up again... I'd appreciate ANY advice Ty!

Yes I can definitely help you with getting that centre dot right. Are you on Instagram or Facebook? Actually the raised bumps in the dots are indicating that there's too much paint in the area but people like the textured effect they give to the image. I personally would prefer my dots a bit flatter but I have seen some beautiful projects with the textured look. It's a matter of personal preference.
