Not really, in germany (and the rest of europe), every sunday count as a holiday. So supermarkets are closed everywhere. Everything that is not urgely needed is closed on this day. Very happy that sunday is still a sacred day here.

Humans are incredibly self-centered and narrow-minded, judging everything by comparing to themselves. 🙄 Sloths and dodos are/were perfectly adapted to their own needs. Their only threats are/were humans, but then that's hardly unique. 😒

Slowing down metabolism is key to healing. We use this concept for heart attacks, spinal injuries ect... By lowering the patient's body temperature putting them in hypothermia its helps with reducing cellular death and therefore reducing negative effects.
Am I the only one who wishes that this woman could have been my mom during my teenage years? I feel like she would have totally understood my slothful ways, plus entertained me with her funniness and jokes.
