Thank you so much Mr Connelly, these videos/playlists are so helpful; they helped me get 8's in Yr10, now I'm in Yr11 doing mocks, and I hope to get get even better grades :)
Okaaay, I get it now. So the temperature increases because of the work done which is he transfer of energy to the container. Then that transfer of energy increases the internal energy which cause the kinetic energy to increase. Then because the temperature is related to the average kinetic energy then this cause the temperature to also increase right?.😅
Another great playlist. Straight to the point every time
I love this guy's vids bro, beats every and any schl teacher for physics
Watch when a bike pump question comes up in 10mins lol
bro i love this man with all my heart. Thank you so much Shaun for posting these videos you're an actual life saver!

What grades did you get
Can you please do one for pulleys?
Yes that's going to be coming soon. All of the remaining videos will be done before your exams in 2018.
Do you have a video on convection?
why does the potential energy increase when work is done on a gas
The gas molecules are forced closer together so their intermolecular forces increase, which increases potential energy.
@@Freesciencelessons sir could you just say " due to their position" or would that be too vague
@@Freesciencelessons im a bit late but do we need to know this for physics gcse
@@mcjeffy3887 As long as you take triple science (or higher physics) then yes
This music is the best music in my opinion
Thankyou!

So is the energy by work done not transferred to heat energy?
well the internal energy does increase and some energy is loss as heat, the reason why the pump gets warm
@@VR-xd9zt Bit late to the punch arn't you
Thanks VR1

I meant to say transfer of energy to the gas particles which increases the internal energy.
who have their yr 11 mocks in 3 weeks?
