Before going to town don't forget to talk lester. Once you've received 500 gold exit town. Throw away clothing and gold (have 10 plants) and you will get additional 200 exp in total (also to not risk encountering adult bloodflies) you can try using chain on town bridge or jumping nearby wall.
1:00 for those who have difficulty climbing the rope and keep falling down. Just toggle into walking mode and you will never ever fell down the rope unless you jump off the rope.
1:09 it is useful, if you climb the rope towards the other end of the ship, you can sneak to the alchemy table where you can steal the sleep scroll which is good for stealing the blood chalice from that money loaner early on in the game

There's a trickier but quicker route into town that involves turning left by the first Shrine of Innos near Xardas tower, jumping down into the valley, running past the black goblins, and then climbing the cliffs on the left side. From there, very carefully, you can drop down on the roof of a tent near the Paladins ship.
No need to learn sneak, sidestepping is basically sneaking but faster. You will not wake anyone up, as long as you don't move forward or backward around them. You can sidestep anywhere you need to sneak for that juicy loot.
Climbing paladins' ship is a very usefull thing :) first thing u can do it easier climbing the crane and you wont be spoted. Secondly you can get from the lower board a strength potion, molerat fat and some other things :)
1 theres a chest in the valley of mines that spawns an orc and a few black goblins 2 in gomez' old room in the castle of the valley of mines is a skeleton after looting a chest 3 when you open the gate of the castle in the vom brutus will turn into a seeker and thank you for your service to beliar 4 all people that are actually possesed have names in all caps (you get a quest about this as a mage) 5 if you swim too far into the sea a cutscene will come showing a creature killing you. 6 the npcs rupert and bullco will sometimes take a piss against a wall or a tree. feel free to use some of these in your next video
7 if you kill everyone (or maybe just some people) in khorinis vatras will talk to you saying you're no longer on the path of balance you can appologise though and he will accept it. but if you kill more people after that he will no longer talk to you.
8 in vatras' preach he mentions innos leaving a portion of his divine power in adanos' realm (earth) for if the beast should return. innos' power being the eye of innos and the beast being the undead dragon

For the last trick involving the entrance to the city, you don't have to go that far. You can just go to the left, stick to the city walls and in the segment next to the tower, you can jump up, and there is a pile or rubble which lessens the height so you won't die and you can go to Lares immidiately. I believe that Lothar also has some dialogue about how he hasn't seen you in a city yet.The "trick" you mentioned like the Beliar statues and the roofs in the previous video are only in Gold version or in the expansion Night of the Raven, while in the original version they wasn't there. Trick or less know things I think you should mention is 60 gold pieces a day as a mercenary, treasures hidden on a map, for example those around Xardas's tower or being apprentice with two masters. (the last one may not work on all versions of the game)
If i remember well you can steall all the loot from the ship in the first chapter, you were probably clibing the wrong rope. You just need to avoid going near to the palladins.
You don't actually need to walk all the way around. If you just walk right from the guards along the city wall, a bit wall will be smaller than the rest. If you position yourself just right you can jump up and climb over it, getting into the city pretty much the same way just much faster.
Maybe this is well known but I've just found a way to dupe weapons and thus get infine gold from selling them. Basically if you make more than one sword of one kind and you equip one of them, when you give it to the smither, another one will appear in your inventory, and you can do this forever.
About praying to Innos: -remember that praying gives you different stats according to your guild, it's best to exhaust bonuses while guildless and then doing it all over again once you get to a guild -prayers give bonuses only once per day, and only for 100g, but not on day 0
use the third rope to climb the ship, walk on it, don't run so you won't fall, go down the stairs in your right after evading one patrolling guard and loot everything, including the +3 strenght potion and instead walking around the city to enter it just go behind the guard in the right, climb from the right part of the bridge and go behind him
About the beliar shrines. Once you start the game you shouldn't pray to it right away cause it doesn't give you anything in return so you basically just lose hitpoints for nothing. Sleep one or two days through and then you can pray with actually getting something

You don't have to actually sneak, not getting too close to the paladins is enough. Always was a bit of a immersion breaker for me. This dude can clearly see me but unless I get into a 5 metre radius of him, it's too much work to kick me off the ship. Reason enough to open the gate in the castle...;)
If you speak with Skip before going to Lares in the last part ( where you go around in the city ) you get more Exp and you get some dexterity bonus as well.

You don't actually need to walk all the way around. If you just walk right from the guards along the city wall, a bit wall will be smaller than the rest. If you position yourself just right you can jump up and climb over it, getting into the city pretty much the same way just much faster.

You do, you just have to go to Lares right away.
Easiest way: Just jump over the gap on the right next to the wooden bridge and the guards.
If you go to Lares right away you still get the xp.

There's a much easier way to get past guarded positions. Just turn sideways, and keep holding either d or a, until you move out of the area of dialog.
You can also just go behind the guard that doesn't talk to you and it won't trigger the dialogue with the other guard.

the rewards you get from praying depend on your class. You can use both ropes and the crane in the center, just don't get too close to any paladins
