    Great video, can’t wait to see/hear headers installed with no cats. What I’m really impressed with is your editing skills. You have mentioned in the past for ideas on content, without getting to personal, who is GT and how has he gained knowledge in multiple fields. Just an idea not trying to be pushy. Be safe!!

      That's a great idea! I've actually thought about it, but It is a bit personal that I think if I say who I am.. I'll die of embarrassment and stop uploading. 😕 I've also mentioned of how cautious I am of showing things on the background. There's so much I can teach from my own experiences, but too afraid of losing the few ppl who actually see my videos. We'll get there. Maybe one day when I'm a bit more successful and have a crowd that cares instead troll.. you'll hear my story.
      Take care!

    The thing I like is the better throttle response... Yeah it doesn't give up but throttle response is better than stock.....

    I like how you got magnaflow muffler and you don't like the loud sound... That's what I did to mine too.... I like how it sounds In the street... Gives a good low tone sound when you step on it but on freeway going 80 it's pretty quiet...

    Was this before the cam? Cause I don’t hear any chop to that cam

    • @GTsPerformance

      This is a stage 2 cam. Which is more of a daily cam with added performance for towing/ hauling. For a heavy Tahoe, its perfect. Anything higher, like a stage 3 or 4 requires additional supporting mods,.. torque converter, longer pushrod etc. and more $ of course. This cam gives the best performance for the $.
      I'll do a better sound test after I get it re-tuned.

    How much of a difference did that cam make? Is it significantly faster?

    Yo GT I recently bought a 2010 PPv Tahoe and I’m getting a 0P300 random multiple misfire. Changed coils, plugs, cables. Any suggestions I’m in Houston area

    • @GTsPerformance
      @GTsPerformance  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When I bought mine it had the same symptoms. I replaced the plugs and cables, but kept running misfire. So I took off the valve covers and noticed 1 of the rockers wasn't moving. It had a collapsed lifter.
      Mine had the active fuel management, which failed. I'm not sure if 2010 still had it, but worth a shot. Just listen to the engine which side the misfire is coming from. Driver side cyl 1 & 7,.. Passenger side cyl 4 & 6.
      it's a good place to start 🤷🏻‍♂️

      How much did that mechanic tax to do a lifter replacement? I’m in the same boat but I got the 304 indicating cylinder 4 misfire. I’m sure it’s a collapsed lifter got nasty tick

    Can't wait to see the next video! Is it gonna be headers, intake, or both. Great job!

    • @GTsPerformance
      @GTsPerformance  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Next video should be intake and a test drive. A good set of headers are around $400, so I'll have to wait a while longer for those. I did manage to buy the turbo manifold for my Mitsubishi. Something ive been wanting to do since I bought the car. Hope I don't blow it up 😅

      @@GTsPerformance I think the lab rat can handle it. I sold some long tube headers last year for $80. I was trying to move them quick so I priced them to sell. Keep up the great videos they're outstanding. You're doing stuff I dream about doing.

      Where are you finding headers for $400 I’ve looked for my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 and the cheapest ones are $600-1000

      Correct...it's throttle response

    • @xcolemanx4
      @xcolemanx4 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely adds power there’s dyno sheets that prove it...... for the record drive somthing with over 155 hp and then you can talk bout power.... 🤡

  • @ghostrider-gm2wg

    If tou want better throttle response, just get a pedal commander. Big difference.

      I was skeptical at first. Finally bit the bullet after all the reviews and got it for my sierra. Dont regret it at all. Has several settings. If you get one I would suggest not to set it on sport mode 4 or 3. Extremely sensitive and you will be spinning your tires without intent, and might make you run into the car in front of you. Only takes about 10 minutes to install.

    Waste of $$ bro
    They add no power gains
    Trust me!!.. had one for awhile & even when I got the truck dyno there was no improvement
    But great HOW TO video

      @AWIERD1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean in your personal and limited circumstance?

    • @AWIERD1
      @AWIERD1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have an older truck and it sprays fuel just before the throttle body. So in my case the fuel/air has more space to mix thoroughly, and resulted in an extra 2mpg consistently.

    • @UNEEK_LOGIK
      @UNEEK_LOGIK 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea you could say that because my truck is port injected so the spacer is just for looks.
      Same goes for GT’s set up

    • @UNEEK_LOGIK
      @UNEEK_LOGIK 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      And are you sure that 2MPG is not just a placebo affect ?? You want to believe that a TB spacer of yours is doing something??!!

    • @AWIERD1
      @AWIERD1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UNEEK_LOGIK Fair point and to answer your question I've been using an app on my phone to track mpg for about a year and a half before I added a spacer and it's been a few years since. Ever since I added my spacer it's been consistently a couple mpg higher.
      I would strongly suggest tracking your milage too. If it takes a dip you can usually take care of it before something expensive happens....
