  • These KickAss MPPT Solar Charge Controllers will help you harvest more energy from your solar panels. Incredibly versatile and highly efficient, they’ll charge 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V battery systems.
    Get yours here: kickassproducts.com.au/collec...
Why you’ll love the KickAss 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V MPPT Solar Charge Controllers:
✅ The wide output voltage range means you can charge 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V batteries.
✅ Available with rated charging current of 20A or 40A, so you can choose what suits you.
✅ Capable of parallel charge, meaning you can link two MPPT devices in parallel to charge a single battery pack twice as fast.
✅ Built-in Bluetooth connectivity lets you monitor your system’s performance in real time from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet.
✅ The ultra-fast MPPT tracking is so effective that it has an efficiency rating of above 99%!
✅ The wide input voltage range is compatible with solar setups with a Voc of up to 150V, so you can connect a variety of solar panels with different voltage outputs.
✅ Multiple projective features will prevent damage caused by overload, overvoltage, overheating, reverse polarity, short circuiting and more.
✅ The controller will dynamically adjust its charging parameters based on the ambient temperatures, ensuring your batteries will charge efficiently even in hot conditions where other controllers would fail.
✅ Features lithium recovery mode, so you can safely reawaken lithium batteries that have been deeply discharged.
✅ The controller will log and analyse data like maximum charge power and total running days, to help you optimise your solar setup.
✅ The standby power consumed by the controller is very low, so it will consume minimal power.
✅ It’s easy to set up, configure, and manage.
✅ An LCD display with LED indicators lets you see the exact status of your system at a glance.
✅ As an alternative to Bluetooth monitoring, you can keep an eye on your system remotely via the optional KickAss Remote Display Unit.

What’s the difference between these and a dcdc charger that plugs into a solar panel?

G'day jorden, these are a dedicated solar regulator & can handle a lot more solar than the dcdc can as the dcdc is a good all rounder that can do everything but can only fit so much tech stuff inside, these new controllers are a stand alone solar controller
      Thanks for watching

Can this work in tandem with the KickAss 12V Control Hub With 20A DCDC Charger? I have the 20A DCDC Charger running off alternator while driving but obviously 20A is much slower charge to the 40A so obviously the question I need to ask can this work in tandem aka the 20A for alternator and the 40A for solar?

G'day mate, you can definitely use Bothe regulators but they have to be connected to different inputs to your battery, you can't run 2 solar regulators into each other as they won't work
      Thanks for watching
      Cheers Craig

@@KickAssProducts Thanks Craig. When parked up the DCDC Charger won't be used with the solar panels just the MPPT controller will have the solar panel attached to it not the DCDC charger :)

Can it charge a lithium battery with no load on it? Victron mppt solar chargers do not.

Your doing something wrong.... I have 4 different victron charge controllers and they ALL charge without a load the models are 15a,20a,30a,100amp so wide variety of models... Best of luck

G'day there Dean,im not sure what you mean, but you should trade in your victron's for 1 kickass controller :)

Love your energy and work guys. Just wondering why we need a breakdown of the technical jargon on a rebrand 😂
Sticker looks great. I love it how it matches all the other stickers and how nicely it is all colour coded. Thats some good sticker graphics design.
Really keen on some Australian made gear. Have you guys got any tech thats actually been designed and manufactured in Australia by you guys?
Ps. Let us know when the price comes down. Got the same gear on Springer for $159.
Again, great colours and great re-interpretation for us illiterate folk.😅
