I liked these when they were NEW, and they still look good now. Since this fits the bill for YOU, and they always were rare, I wouldn't part with it! No idea about potential value, but that wouldn't matter if you keep it! But I would replace all the fuel lines, to hand the modern petrol, which has burnt through the original fuel lines on some classic cars - and set them on fire! Can't wait to see the follow up video - that's as far as I get to seeing nice cars these days, because my eyesight isn't sharp enough for driving now!
@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes I have the same vehicle, same year, same mileage, but black over silver. The only I would say, beware the tin worm! That strut mount might be much worse than it looks, these cars are assembled in Italy, by Pininfarina, and like many a 1980's Fiat, the rot can be terminal. They are rather low geared for modern traffic, 3000rpm at 60, in top gear. Absolutely fantastic in the snow, i think it's because the wheels are right in the corner of the car, there's no body overhang. Good luck with the car, they are very sellable.
@@alanwebber7137 Yes just like my Rav4... the rot seems to have set in, I think this is either going to be a great buy, or a goodbye 😂 keeping my fingers crossed today, as it's just gone in for it's first MOT in 3 Years! wish me luck
@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes A good selling point, the MPI engine, like yours has, is compatible with the new E10 petrol. A good source of new parts, is a company called Amayata, they're based in Japan. They despatch from Japan And the UAE. Small package post, £11.50 Japan, £8.50 from the UAE. All genuine Mitsubishi parts, very sensibly priced. From my experience, everything takes 2 weeks to arrive, fantastic service. Most service parts are available from the UK, new, pattern, body panels from Poland and most other bits, via Amayata.
Cracking little "jeep", filming the cleaning and refurbishment will make superb content for the channel. Only main worry I see is the rust at the fuse box, looks like that will be ( hopefully small) welding job. Good buy 👍
I have actually already thrown a bucket of water over it, and it's looking a lot better now, if you check out my Instagram page there are always pre-video updates there though. The rust by the fuse box needs welding your correct, hopefully that's all, but a rumble from the front might mean new wheel bearings for the new MOT too! but all still within budget hopefully 😉
Hey Ryan, it's a great motor! solid enough (once you sort any rust issues lol) but great to drive, love the driving position, very comfy, but shows it's age a bit compared to modern cars. Overall.... I recommend them, you can't really get anything better that does the same at this price range, look how the Jimny prices are going, and these could well end up fairly collectable. And yes pretty sure seats fold flat too. Hope that helps 😁(and check out the other videos on this if you get the chance)
@@allthatglitterz4564 I can't see it costing that much to get through a new MOT although perhaps some welding under the bonnet for that little rust patch, and maybe a new wheel bearing, that's all I spotted so far

If Anybody Knows Where I can Get The Correct Paint For The Silver/Grey Front Bumper... Please Comment 😃
If you didn't already know it should have aircon. Push the centre knob in and it should bring aircon on.
Thanks 😁

We finished this series now Nygel, it turned out quite nicely too - take a look at the other videos if you get the time 😁
The silver paint is Rhodium Silver, you can buy it from a popular online auction site, or your local car refinishing suppliers.
Brlliant! Thanks Alan 😁

If you wet vac seats carpets. Polish car and touch in the paint, you could get £2000 if you make it look really good.
That would be a nice pay day Charlie 😁

Good video, how you finding it? Quite fancy one as they are cheap enough? Also, do the rear seats fold flat by any chance?

Awesome little cars these, not really a 4x4 though? more an SUV maybe, but great value at that price! lets hope it passes the MOT 😁
Yes I think it's great value, just not certain of it's value? worst case is I get a cheap and funky SUV lol

Could you review a Corsa VXR?
Would love to, been on the lookout for a decent VXR for a while, but most have been thrashed to death by younger drivers 😂
