Riya making it farther than Aiden this season feels wrong. At the finale of season 2, Riya went on a bit of a tirade of how Aiden wasn’t a good enough player to make it to the finals like she and James were and let him nearly die. She’s entirely unapologetic about it at the start of this season and the very first 2 eliminations are Aiden’s best friends and closest allies with Riya proceeding to constantly provoke Aiden and practically taunt him by keeping him in the game at multiple intervals where she could have eliminated him just to show him how she’s not threatened by him and has zero faith that she would lose to him. If I can be honest, Aiden’s character this entire season felt like it was building up to the eventual moment when Aiden would finally get one over on Riya by winning, or at least outlasting her in the game. So the fact that she actually did make it farther than him at the end of the day after all she put him through is a really bitter pill to swallow. Aiden finally getting to stick it to basically his bully in the game was cast aside in favor of Ally and Jake getting to bicker and Riya using Brian to taunt Connor for yet another episode, and words cannot express how exhausted that makes me. This show was going the right direction with satisfying dual character moments in Ashley eliminating Fiore, Gabby eliminating Tess and Tom (I wasn’t personally happy about these ones, but gabby fans probably were, idk), and especially Grett eliminating Yul. Why, of all potential satisfying eliminations, was having Riya be humiliated by getting eliminated at least partially by Aiden, the one person she constantly mocked and laughed at the idea of losing to, not priority number 1 in the writing room? It felt like it was *right there* !
I guess cuz if Riya went home thst episode, the villains would be dead for since Grett doesnt wanna work with Alec, and with Ally even joining Grett's side, they would all be on the minority and the f3 would realistically be Aiden, Connor and Jake

I respect your opinion on the episode not being that good but I personally liked it. With some things that weren't good or wasn't well executed. Jake and Grett were the definite the highlight. Jake's using the tough love Ashley gave him on Connor was pretty sweet and won immunity in the challenge with only telling the truth. Grett's gameplay wasn't anything spectacular as I initially thought but her strategy is a lot more versatile and she has a lot of power with her being involved in every alliance to some degree without anybody noticing. Also, her little scene at the end with her doing a pull-up brought a smile to my face. Alec's been declining but not as bad compared to episode 14. I'm open to seeing Alec become more fleshed out as a character but it feels its squashed into as little episodes as possible. The scene with him and Riya drunk talking about his regrets and talking to Connor about him never actually having feelings for Riya would hold more weight if there was small bits of progression of self-reflection in each episode up to this point. Ally was a bit more tolerable this episode than last episode but still wasn't particularly good. Her and Jake bickering is never fun and her betraying the heroes wasn't a shock but didn't really do anything to me. Her being so upset Aiden preferring Jake is hilarious cuz she literally never talks to Aiden. Riya was awful from every single thing she was involved in. The part that really had me irritated was her blatantly shitting on Connor at the dock when she clearly had some feelings for him at one point. What is she on?? She better go next HOPEFULLY🙏🏽

Ally flipping on Aiden was the best move she could’ve possibly made. Had she worked with the Heroes to get Riya/Alec/Grett out, she’d be doomed to place 4th as she’s the odd-one-out as far as the Heroes are concerned. Ally hatred is so cringe.
I don’t hate Ally and I’m fine with the elimination I just think it wasn’t a smart move on her part cause she just hasn’t put in the effort to get along with Aiden/Connor which Jake of all people was able to do so I’m sure she could’ve done it too. And also the fact that now she’s working with less trustworthy people now. I mean Riya literally says she’s only using Ally to get another vote.
Aiden elimination makes sense because he really overstayed a lot. People hated episode 14 because Gabby was eliminated but not Aiden. I do think both you and i can have different opinions. Tbh i can't think of which characters should be better to be eliminated than aiden. Aiden has been used as a plot device and he has almost little to personality. I think writing quality is pretty much inconsistent from the team. They really need to stop producing a lot in quick time.
Aiden was a plot device in every story with barely any contribution. I wish they gave him the underdog story arc and actually have him grow on his own since many times he was always paired up rarely getting a chance to do anything by himself.

I was only happy that Aiden has been eliminated because that means we'll get to see him with James in the motel episode. My boy is free from this hellhole and can be happy with a good placement despite being used only as a support character, which is a massive shame but what can you do.
Ally’s gotten on my nerves because of several reasons. 1. As you said, she’s being annoying. 2. She’s being self-centered and unable to look outside of her own perspective. She’s flabbergasted when Connor and Aiden seem to prefer Jake. THAT’s because unlike Ally, Jake is ACTUALLY trying to improve and wants to be better. 3. Ally just wants the superficiality of that. She wants to look good, but has not put in any of the REAL effort. I want to root for Connor. I do…But as you said yourself…Connor returned to the game. And people who return to the game and have to come back in via special circumstances aren’t looked to highly to win. Look at real life examples like Big Brother 25 last year, where they just had their first ever returning player Jag Bains, get voted out and stay in the game…and people were episode because he got voted out. Or hell, look several years back with Survivor 38 winner Chris Underwood, who also got voted out and came back. Even Geoff and Brody in Total Drama Ridonculous Race get flak for winning after returning to the game. When this happens, it just tends to piss people off. Riya…I truly do feel like it’s late. She’s just genuinely treating people poorly, and her accepting and/or admitting that she has a good won’t change that.
Haven't seen Big Brother or Survivor but that Geoff and Brody win in RR was definitely BS. It was just wayyyyyy too late to do a rejoin for me personally. I was happy with Cabby's win and wouldn't mind a Connor win since it feels like they rejoined at the right time.
Someone said All-Stars Riya feels like a Riya that won Season 2 and I kinda agree. Also yeah I didn't like this episode I think every character has been destroyed and ruined now, except Jake and Grett. They became better after their abyssmal First half run.
I respect your opinion but I really liked this episode, I swear I didn’t like an episode as much as this one since maybe ep 8, mainly because Grett is finally the strategic girl she’s always been. Yul and Gabby were really dragging her down I’m also glad Ally has something going on and that her voting against the “heroes” made sense. Had she not voted Aiden out, she would not have any chance to win. And Aiden had to go way sooner. That Jake-Aiden plot could’ve been solved in the first episode of the merge, so I’m not mad he didn’t get much in this episode since he was barely doing anything anyways The only thing that I feel was mishandled was Riya outlasting Aiden, that should have not happened, the same way I feel Gabby should’ve eliminated Aiden
I have to agree with the Riya part. I feel like her character is pretty inconsistent at times. They show her feeling bad for Connor with her facial expressions or not wanting people to know about the kiss because of Connor. Then she pushes Connor in the water for no reason and kisses Alec right in front of him. Like girl, you do not feel bad or care about Connor. She is also just annoying. It is nice that she has fans, but I just don't like her and wish she got eliminated. If she doesn't get eliminated next episode, I am going to turn into the Kermit falling meme. Another good video

THIS IS ACTUALLY SO REAL. also, one thing i have to mention is how much the writing changed from s1 to s3. Hell, even from like pre-merge s3 to merge s3 was so drastic. For EVERY SINGLE EPISODE after ashleys elimination is just: story, bonding, hatred, story, bondred hatred, its so. Bad. Before the challenge still benifited the plot. But it literally wasnt JUST plot. One thing about disventure camp is theyve had some of creative challenges. They lost that charm just for PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT. and thats just making she show worse. The biggest issue I have with Aiden’s elimination in particular is that it is not a satisfying conclusion to his season long story with Riya. They could’ve actually done something with that storyline and had Riya go this episode then just eliminate Aiden in 6th, simple as that.

Jake was honestly my favorite in this episode, followed by Connor. Yes, the Hunter line was really bad but besides that, I enjoyed him. His relationship with Connor is very sweet, his dynamic with Aiden is interesting and I think brings out a lot of interesting sides to Jake, he had some strangely cute reactions, and despite being targeted the whole time and having reason to lie he stayed truthful(admitting the stuff about Aiden, admitting his horrible habits, and admitting he felt Tom was obligated to love him while showing from his facial expressions that he is ashamed to feel that) which made him feel deserving to win. And while Aiden’s is elimination fell into “Jake gets heartbroken because he can’t have friends in this game” I do like how Aiden ended things off with him. Grett was cool here besides maybe one or two lines. Not much to complain Aiden was alright but didn’t get much screentime Alec is Brian Griffin Ally and Riya I wanted to slam into a lamppost
None of the characters have been destroyed, if anything there's been actual growth and adaptation throughout the game. Plus it was Aiden's time to go. I also hate this mentality of people needing to not make it as far that made it far in their first season like ITS ALL STARS. Previous placements should not apply.
After watching the video, your comment is pretty valid. I was scared because the word called "Bad" in your title. For me, The spotlight of Jake, Grett, Trevor and Emily compensate all the bad things happened on this episode. Seriously these four makes me forget all the bad things happening in this episode.

All Heather did was read someone's diary and tried to ruin someone's relationship in season 1 Riya almost made someone fall from a cliff and refused to apologise for it, made another person to act like her by leaving someone as a bear food in a cave, and keep bringing in someone who was the only one who cared about her into her drama and trying to mess with their head, Heather wasnt like that
I think you hit the nail on the head about villains (specifically mean girls) needing to be charming especially about what traits the ones mentioned had. Characters like Courtney, Noah and Bracelety fit the aforementioned traits and are all very much loved for it.
I’m mad about the elimination, why would Ally flip despite her fully knowing Riya is a massive target. Despite knowing that the villains would take control. Despite finally having the opportunity to win with the heroes. I love Riya and all but Aiden should not have went home here.

You know, I agree with about all of your points I just don't dislike anything that happened this episode Aside from Brian Griffin going off the rails and combusting into flames, everyone here was pretty decent. Grett made me tear up a bit, Ally and Aiden stayed mid, it's really just coming down to "Man, I wish more screentime was dedicated to X's plot instead of whatever the fuck they were doing earlier" Because Jake is the only one who feels fleshed out (And even then Tom could've stayed a little longer). Not Riya, not Grett (Though she's a little better), Alec has done a complete 180 out of the blue, Connor is weird but fine, Ally will only be shit if they don't stick the landing with her, and Aiden was always gonna be a support character. He could've went three episodes ago. Since Gabellie didn't really go anywhere I wish more of their scenes went to Grett. She really needed all the screentime she could get for this winner edit I'm also wondering what Ally's thought process here is. Riya told her not to give a shit and be herself so she flipped on the three people who had the best image in the game. She also says she doesn't feel comfortable being called a hero. . . Like, she's all over the place. Only thing that made sense was her strategy but that was more of a Riya Grett thing than hers. Is like, her true self just evil?? Is it an Ellie situation? What happened to what Hunter and Tess told her like four episodes ago? Does she care about people hating her or not?

It's soo funny cause I really want Alec vs. Riya vs. Connor as the finale. I really agree with the fact that nobody really deserves the win tbh. I just want Alec to win since hes my favorite and especially in the episode, weve seen more about him. (I fucking despise the bad father stuff though, like everytime I want to avoid it. I just hate seeing dc bring it up.)
I hope he's next. Alec is not a good person, and I hate that they're trying to make him one. If they wanted him to be a good person at heart, maybe they shouldn't have had him neglect his child and not start this arc so late into the season. Also the fact that his main villain role got stolen by Riya. Just get him out of here before they ruin him more. He was much better in season 1.
When you compared Riya to the other villains in Total Drama/Season 1 and 2 of Disventure Camp there was one detail that you forgot; The main villain was never the same person in two seasons, especially not 2 in a row. Total drama had Heather for 1, Courtney or Justin for 2, Alejandro for 3 (You could argue Heather but she was more of just an anti-hero), Scott for 4, Mal for 5 (Idk for sure on 5 I haven't seen All stars yet), Scarlet on 6, Julia on 7 and I didn't watch the second reboot so idk. Riya was a villain in season 2, AND 3. It's annoying and I feel like there was other characters that could've worked this season. Another thing that confused me that's not about Riya is the fact that the bear situation from episode 14 was mentioned less times than a single line of Aiden saying he prefers Jake over Ally, that was more of just the character's personality but I really expected Jake to talk about the bear plot more. That's pretty much it I wanted to add, love how you explained everything and I love the drawings you did in this vid!
It really does feel like at some points in DC all stars certain things are made to compensate for complaints. Riya could never even come close to hoping that she could be even a fraction of a sliver as good as characters as any of the examples you gave. I know we're not supposed to really judge the people behind the show but I want to know what the fuck is going on the writers heads. I want to know what the hell happened here; how these people made such colossal mistakes and in such great volume especially after showing they could make decent writing with the season 1 remake. Aiden being eliminated here feels like it was literally just done to go "Wow look at us we totally tricked you with an unexpected elimination! We're so clever look at us and how clever we are for doing something you didn't expect!" and it feels like the second elimination in a row to do this but it's even worse because like you say here, at least Gabby had stuff to do. Grett and Connor are the only two I really want to see win but I feel like the writers have been thinking they are being subtle while absolutely cramming Jake winner flags down everyone's throats. I've also already completely lost all faith I had in these writers to make good decisions. I really miss back when it was just the first 3 episodes and I had no idea this was going to become one of my least favorite seasons of any show ever.
I feel bad for Aiden bc I wanted him to personally deliver Riya's comeuppance alongside Connor. He at least deserved that for the ending of Season 2. Idk why Riya is still here. She sucks the big one and she literally makss everyone miserable, but "she's playing the game well" so nobody can put their two sense together to get her out like jesus christ.

Half this cast has already made it decently far in their own seasons, meanwhile Yul and Gabby did not but they were eliminated before Aiden???? It is ridiculous and If theyre going to have Riya be the main villain again then to me it seems like a waste, I'd much rather have someone else take that role. i feel like grett is doing stuff too late imo, her winning wouldnt feel satisfying to me, i feel like she should’ve been given a bigger subplot or something to do up until yuls elimination cus it honestly feels like she wasnt even part of the show until ep 13, and her reason for being mad at riya and alec is hysterical cus shes mad at them for voting connor over yul but how were they supposed to know she would randomly vote yul that night, she never told them she was planning to vote for him, were they supposed to read her mind ?? also they were both out of the challenge before they could witness the yul and grett breakup so they wouldnt be aware of what she was planning to do, why would they vote for someone in their alliance when they know it would hurt all 4 of them.. also both riya and alec stuck up for grett against yul at one point, like as much as i hate riya (like despise her) grett is becoming one of my least favs, i do appreciate the more strategic route theyre bringing back with her tho
I liked the episode, but I still can see your point. I personally prefer to ignore Riya from season two since she was handled there terribly (in my opinion.) So I treat Riya from All-star as a completely different character. It helps my own immersion. When it comes go Ally, I'm glad she just does something. And Brian Griffin is still irredeemable. Overall I feel the writing changed for the better since characters don't just traumadump and feel... well, like actual characters. But I get it's not for everyone.
I disagree about Riya's part. Not all of them just the part "She should've eliminated in this episode". Well now Connor have idol and i think sending Riya with Connor's idol would be much satisfying. So i hope that happens in next episode.
I've had mostly the same feelings. I've been wanting Riya away from my screen from the very start. I hate her, stop trying to redeem her, it doesn't work. The direction they are going with this character is a complete mystery and at the point we're at, this is a REALLY BAD thing. Grett's probably gonna win. I sure hope she does because she's probably the only character left that I actually do like. Okay that's not true, I like Connor too but I hate his current plotline. Doesn't help that it involves two of the worst characters in the season. And do not get me started on Ally, if they actually make her the season finale villain like I think they are going to, I am going to be pissed and call her the worst character of the season.
I liked this episode personally because of the challenge and Aiden and Jake's relationship evolving, and i like to see Ally going down a dark path to become one of the monsters she feared on the net. However, yes, Riya is shit in this episode and i feel like the writers just wanted to make, bad, bad, bad, till the very end thinking that would be satisfying but there is no redeeming qualities for Riya at this point, neither is there anything for Alec because they have both bad directions on their characterisations, but honestly Jake's arc was taken with a slower pace during the season and feels natural and just for that and how he connects with the rest of the cast in this episode i cant help but feel glad he's going down that path, Connor is still enjoyable and i cant believe my man said RIZZ but he stands strong, as for Grett she has potential to be a good winner to be honest despite the lil of screetime and/or lines she gets, there is an.attempt at making her shine here, which considering the context of the episode i which she was worked on better instead of making a Tomjaiden love triangle that stopped any interesting character to feature more out of them, but really i cant accept the episode was bad, maybe i will think it's bad, but honestly i thought it was a good watch

I hated ally so bad in this episode, but with all the focus on her I thought she was leaving so it was tolerable. but when AIDEN WENT HOME I was so pissed. not saying Aiden should have continued, but compared to Ally no fucking way
Honestly I’m glad that someone shared my view with how Aiden was handled this episode, I thought at least he would’ve survived since in the past, most characters who would get more limelight would be the ones to get booted, so when the elimination started and Aiden’s name was on there, it genuinely caught me off guard. Based off what was going on plot wise I would’ve thought it would’ve been the obvious Ally vs Conner votes as those two had more screen time, so for Aiden to have the least to do this episode AND be the one kicked didn’t sit right with me. Sure it was here a bit too longer than expected but I thought he probably would’ve left at the next episode when the main plot would focus on him somewhat after this episode’s elimination.
Speaking of TDNG, how did Danny make it so far in season 2, Over the likes of someone like Ron, look I get wanted to end Georgia and Ron’s relationship on a high note, but even then, Danny already won the first season why make him stick around besides the Cosmo plot?
I get Lando making it far, because he at least had something to do Danny didn’t have much besides the Cosmo plot because all of his biggest allies got eliminated early
the challenge it self was so great, one of my favs in the show but yeah i think i was giving the episode too much credit for the challenge alone when there was alot of bad in the episode, think i still somewhat like it but yeah was still giving too much credit also i would love to see you yap on each character you despise in DC, TD, TDNG may be even some object shows and other fan series (ooo may be if you want you could turn that into a series in the channel :3 ) and just a full on review of next gen series
I hate what they did with Ally so much. All of Ally's plot was horrible writing. The Hunter Ally drama never got solved and worked just as a way to make the heroes fall apart. Horrible.
I have to agree one thing you need to point out is that remember what Tess and Hunter said about bring yourself in Episode 11 cut back to Episode 15 and she whining annoying insecure person. Ashley would be very disappointed of Ally. Also how did Riya outlast Yul, Fiore, Ellie, Tom idk at this point man Yul should of made it to the final 7 or 5 I don't care what anyone says there's barely anyone good on here except Jake and Grett
It’s legit been ever since Yul left the seasons turned shit. Yul was one of the main characters and SHOULD have been the main antagonist. He shouldn’t have been booted. Ugh.

I never really got the hate for Post-Split Flower. She changed a little bit, sure- But I think she was mostly the same character all the way through, and one I happen to really like.

i dont like the episode because of the way it shows the rest of the episodes wilk be trash. grett saying alec voted with yul even though of what yul did to her- when alec talked to yul??? and riya talked to grett giving her advice but they wiped that out in the sake of getting alec or riya eliminated in the next 2 episodes and give jake and connor the usual plot armor

(The episode number I forget) Grett, Aiden, Jake and Connor were pretty good this episode. None of them really did anything wrong. Ally tried all season to be better than she was in season 2, and at this point in all stars at least, Ally is the WORST version of herself by a long shot. I still hate Riya and Alec for a lot of reasons. I think that some kind of redemption for Alec MIGHT have worked before All Stars, same with Ellie and Riya, but all 3 of these characters are revealed to be or do things that are incredibly abhorrent. Alec and Ellie are pretty open and shut cases, but the thing that makes Alec so much worse is that they’re trying to make us feel bad for him AFTER making him admit to letting his child bleed out and admitting to not loving his son. If Brian, Riya and Connor are the final 3 I’m giving up on this show. I’m suprised I haven’t cancelled my patreon yet lmao
-Had a similar downfall arc (Started off likable, witty and reasonable in earlier seasons, the straight-men of their group. But turned into egotistical, pretentious villains who are very negligent towards their family). -Alec wears a white shirt which isn't too dissimilar to Brian's white fur. (Or Brian's human design) -Both are "intellectuals" who have an association with reading. (But both come off as more pretentious than smart later on). -Both have a son who they treat terribly. -Both are friends with an older guy who offered them kindness when no one else would. -Both tried to make a move on a woman who was previously involved with said guy. -They might both have drinking problems but that's unconfirmed. Is this good enough?

Riya making it farther than Aiden this season feels wrong. At the finale of season 2, Riya went on a bit of a tirade of how Aiden wasn’t a good enough player to make it to the finals like she and James were and let him nearly die. She’s entirely unapologetic about it at the start of this season and the very first 2 eliminations are Aiden’s best friends and closest allies with Riya proceeding to constantly provoke Aiden and practically taunt him by keeping him in the game at multiple intervals where she could have eliminated him just to show him how she’s not threatened by him and has zero faith that she would lose to him. If I can be honest, Aiden’s character this entire season felt like it was building up to the eventual moment when Aiden would finally get one over on Riya by winning, or at least outlasting her in the game. So the fact that she actually did make it farther than him at the end of the day after all she put him through is a really bitter pill to swallow. Aiden finally getting to stick it to basically his bully in the game was cast aside in favor of Ally and Jake getting to bicker and Riya using Brian to taunt Connor for yet another episode, and words cannot express how exhausted that makes me. This show was going the right direction with satisfying dual character moments in Ashley eliminating Fiore, Gabby eliminating Tess and Tom (I wasn’t personally happy about these ones, but gabby fans probably were, idk), and especially Grett eliminating Yul. Why, of all potential satisfying eliminations, was having Riya be humiliated by getting eliminated at least partially by Aiden, the one person she constantly mocked and laughed at the idea of losing to, not priority number 1 in the writing room? It felt like it was *right there* !

I respect your opinion on the episode not being that good but I personally liked it. With some things that weren't good or wasn't well executed. Jake and Grett were the definite the highlight. Jake's using the tough love Ashley gave him on Connor was pretty sweet and won immunity in the challenge with only telling the truth. Grett's gameplay wasn't anything spectacular as I initially thought but her strategy is a lot more versatile and she has a lot of power with her being involved in every alliance to some degree without anybody noticing. Also, her little scene at the end with her doing a pull-up brought a smile to my face. Alec's been declining but not as bad compared to episode 14. I'm open to seeing Alec become more fleshed out as a character but it feels its squashed into as little episodes as possible. The scene with him and Riya drunk talking about his regrets and talking to Connor about him never actually having feelings for Riya would hold more weight if there was small bits of progression of self-reflection in each episode up to this point. Ally was a bit more tolerable this episode than last episode but still wasn't particularly good. Her and Jake bickering is never fun and her betraying the heroes wasn't a shock but didn't really do anything to me. Her being so upset Aiden preferring Jake is hilarious cuz she literally never talks to Aiden. Riya was awful from every single thing she was involved in. The part that really had me irritated was her blatantly shitting on Connor at the dock when she clearly had some feelings for him at one point. What is she on?? She better go next HOPEFULLY🙏🏽

Aiden elimination makes sense because he really overstayed a lot. People hated episode 14 because Gabby was eliminated but not Aiden. I do think both you and i can have different opinions. Tbh i can't think of which characters should be better to be eliminated than aiden. Aiden has been used as a plot device and he has almost little to personality. I think writing quality is pretty much inconsistent from the team. They really need to stop producing a lot in quick time.
Aiden was a plot device in every story with barely any contribution. I wish they gave him the underdog story arc and actually have him grow on his own since many times he was always paired up rarely getting a chance to do anything by himself.

Ally’s gotten on my nerves because of several reasons. 1. As you said, she’s being annoying. 2. She’s being self-centered and unable to look outside of her own perspective. She’s flabbergasted when Connor and Aiden seem to prefer Jake. THAT’s because unlike Ally, Jake is ACTUALLY trying to improve and wants to be better. 3. Ally just wants the superficiality of that. She wants to look good, but has not put in any of the REAL effort.
I want to root for Connor. I do…But as you said yourself…Connor returned to the game. And people who return to the game and have to come back in via special circumstances aren’t looked to highly to win. Look at real life examples like Big Brother 25 last year, where they just had their first ever returning player Jag Bains, get voted out and stay in the game…and people were episode because he got voted out. Or hell, look several years back with Survivor 38 winner Chris Underwood, who also got voted out and came back. Even Geoff and Brody in Total Drama Ridonculous Race get flak for winning after returning to the game. When this happens, it just tends to piss people off.
Riya…I truly do feel like it’s late. She’s just genuinely treating people poorly, and her accepting and/or admitting that she has a good won’t change that.
Haven't seen Big Brother or Survivor but that Geoff and Brody win in RR was definitely BS. It was just wayyyyyy too late to do a rejoin for me personally. I was happy with Cabby's win and wouldn't mind a Connor win since it feels like they rejoined at the right time.
Someone said All-Stars Riya feels like a Riya that won Season 2 and I kinda agree. Also yeah I didn't like this episode I think every character has been destroyed and ruined now, except Jake and Grett. They became better after their abyssmal First half run.

I’m also glad Ally has something going on and that her voting against the “heroes” made sense. Had she not voted Aiden out, she would not have any chance to win.
And Aiden had to go way sooner. That Jake-Aiden plot could’ve been solved in the first episode of the merge, so I’m not mad he didn’t get much in this episode since he was barely doing anything anyways
The only thing that I feel was mishandled was Riya outlasting Aiden, that should have not happened, the same way I feel Gabby should’ve eliminated Aiden
I have to agree with the Riya part. I feel like her character is pretty inconsistent at times. They show her feeling bad for Connor with her facial expressions or not wanting people to know about the kiss because of Connor. Then she pushes Connor in the water for no reason and kisses Alec right in front of him. Like girl, you do not feel bad or care about Connor. She is also just annoying. It is nice that she has fans, but I just don't like her and wish she got eliminated.

THIS IS ACTUALLY SO REAL. also, one thing i have to mention is how much the writing changed from s1 to s3. Hell, even from like pre-merge s3 to merge s3 was so drastic. For EVERY SINGLE EPISODE after ashleys elimination is just: story, bonding, hatred, story, bondred hatred, its so. Bad. Before the challenge still benifited the plot. But it literally wasnt JUST plot. One thing about disventure camp is theyve had some of creative challenges. They lost that charm just for PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT. and thats just making she show worse.

The biggest issue I have with Aiden’s elimination in particular is that it is not a satisfying conclusion to his season long story with Riya. They could’ve actually done something with that storyline and had Riya go this episode then just eliminate Aiden in 6th, simple as that.

Opinion respected. However, this has got to be one of my favorite episodes, solely of the Jake W. I would hate to see him gone after last episode.
Jake was honestly my favorite in this episode, followed by Connor. Yes, the Hunter line was really bad but besides that, I enjoyed him. His relationship with Connor is very sweet, his dynamic with Aiden is interesting and I think brings out a lot of interesting sides to Jake, he had some strangely cute reactions, and despite being targeted the whole time and having reason to lie he stayed truthful(admitting the stuff about Aiden, admitting his horrible habits, and admitting he felt Tom was obligated to love him while showing from his facial expressions that he is ashamed to feel that) which made him feel deserving to win. And while Aiden’s is elimination fell into “Jake gets heartbroken because he can’t have friends in this game” I do like how Aiden ended things off with him.
Grett was cool here besides maybe one or two lines. Not much to complain

I think you hit the nail on the head about villains (specifically mean girls) needing to be charming especially about what traits the ones mentioned had. Characters like Courtney, Noah and Bracelety fit the aforementioned traits and are all very much loved for it.
I’m mad about the elimination, why would Ally flip despite her fully knowing Riya is a massive target. Despite knowing that the villains would take control. Despite finally having the opportunity to win with the heroes. I love Riya and all but Aiden should not have went home here.
If she stuck with the “heroes” it would just result in Aiden + Connor + Jake voting her out at the final four.

Aside from Brian Griffin going off the rails and combusting into flames, everyone here was pretty decent. Grett made me tear up a bit, Ally and Aiden stayed mid, it's really just coming down to "Man, I wish more screentime was dedicated to X's plot instead of whatever the fuck they were doing earlier" Because Jake is the only one who feels fleshed out (And even then Tom could've stayed a little longer). Not Riya, not Grett (Though she's a little better), Alec has done a complete 180 out of the blue, Connor is weird but fine, Ally will only be shit if they don't stick the landing with her, and Aiden was always gonna be a support character. He could've went three episodes ago. Since Gabellie didn't really go anywhere I wish more of their scenes went to Grett. She really needed all the screentime she could get for this winner edit

It's soo funny cause I really want Alec vs. Riya vs. Connor as the finale. I really agree with the fact that nobody really deserves the win tbh. I just want Alec to win since hes my favorite and especially in the episode, weve seen more about him. (I fucking despise the bad father stuff though, like everytime I want to avoid it. I just hate seeing dc bring it up.)
I hope he's next. Alec is not a good person, and I hate that they're trying to make him one. If they wanted him to be a good person at heart, maybe they shouldn't have had him neglect his child and not start this arc so late into the season. Also the fact that his main villain role got stolen by Riya. Just get him out of here before they ruin him more. He was much better in season 1.

When you compared Riya to the other villains in Total Drama/Season 1 and 2 of Disventure Camp there was one detail that you forgot; The main villain was never the same person in two seasons, especially not 2 in a row. Total drama had Heather for 1, Courtney or Justin for 2, Alejandro for 3 (You could argue Heather but she was more of just an anti-hero), Scott for 4, Mal for 5 (Idk for sure on 5 I haven't seen All stars yet), Scarlet on 6, Julia on 7 and I didn't watch the second reboot so idk. Riya was a villain in season 2, AND 3. It's annoying and I feel like there was other characters that could've worked this season.
Another thing that confused me that's not about Riya is the fact that the bear situation from episode 14 was mentioned less times than a single line of Aiden saying he prefers Jake over Ally, that was more of just the character's personality but I really expected Jake to talk about the bear plot more.

It really does feel like at some points in DC all stars certain things are made to compensate for complaints.
Riya could never even come close to hoping that she could be even a fraction of a sliver as good as characters as any of the examples you gave.
I know we're not supposed to really judge the people behind the show but I want to know what the fuck is going on the writers heads. I want to know what the hell happened here; how these people made such colossal mistakes and in such great volume especially after showing they could make decent writing with the season 1 remake.
Aiden being eliminated here feels like it was literally just done to go "Wow look at us we totally tricked you with an unexpected elimination! We're so clever look at us and how clever we are for doing something you didn't expect!" and it feels like the second elimination in a row to do this but it's even worse because like you say here, at least Gabby had stuff to do.
Grett and Connor are the only two I really want to see win but I feel like the writers have been thinking they are being subtle while absolutely cramming Jake winner flags down everyone's throats. I've also already completely lost all faith I had in these writers to make good decisions. I really miss back when it was just the first 3 episodes and I had no idea this was going to become one of my least favorite seasons of any show ever.
I feel bad for Aiden bc I wanted him to personally deliver Riya's comeuppance alongside Connor. He at least deserved that for the ending of Season 2. Idk why Riya is still here. She sucks the big one and she literally makss everyone miserable, but "she's playing the game well" so nobody can put their two sense together to get her out like jesus christ.

I liked the episode, but I still can see your point. I personally prefer to ignore Riya from season two since she was handled there terribly (in my opinion.) So I treat Riya from All-star as a completely different character. It helps my own immersion.
When it comes go Ally, I'm glad she just does something. And Brian Griffin is still irredeemable.
Overall I feel the writing changed for the better since characters don't just traumadump and feel... well, like actual characters. But I get it's not for everyone.
I disagree about Riya's part. Not all of them just the part "She should've eliminated in this episode".
Well now Connor have idol and i think sending Riya with Connor's idol would be much satisfying. So i hope that happens in next episode.
I've had mostly the same feelings. I've been wanting Riya away from my screen from the very start. I hate her, stop trying to redeem her, it doesn't work. The direction they are going with this character is a complete mystery and at the point we're at, this is a REALLY BAD thing.
Grett's probably gonna win. I sure hope she does because she's probably the only character left that I actually do like. Okay that's not true, I like Connor too but I hate his current plotline. Doesn't help that it involves two of the worst characters in the season.
And do not get me started on Ally, if they actually make her the season finale villain like I think they are going to, I am going to be pissed and call her the worst character of the season.
I sadly think that Riya is going to be 4th since she's the main villain.

I liked this episode personally because of the challenge and Aiden and Jake's relationship evolving, and i like to see Ally going down a dark path to become one of the monsters she feared on the net.
However, yes, Riya is shit in this episode and i feel like the writers just wanted to make, bad, bad, bad, till the very end thinking that would be satisfying but there is no redeeming qualities for Riya at this point, neither is there anything for Alec because they have both bad directions on their characterisations, but honestly Jake's arc was taken with a slower pace during the season and feels natural and just for that and how he connects with the rest of the cast in this episode i cant help but feel glad he's going down that path, Connor is still enjoyable and i cant believe my man said RIZZ but he stands strong, as for Grett she has potential to be a good winner to be honest despite the lil of screetime and/or lines she gets, there is an.attempt at making her shine here, which considering the context of the episode i which she was worked on better instead of making a Tomjaiden love triangle that stopped any interesting character to feature more out of them, but really i cant accept the episode was bad, maybe i will think it's bad, but honestly i thought it was a good watch

I hated ally so bad in this episode, but with all the focus on her I thought she was leaving so it was tolerable. but when AIDEN WENT HOME I was so pissed. not saying Aiden should have continued, but compared to Ally no fucking way

Honestly I’m glad that someone shared my view with how Aiden was handled this episode, I thought at least he would’ve survived since in the past, most characters who would get more limelight would be the ones to get booted, so when the elimination started and Aiden’s name was on there, it genuinely caught me off guard. Based off what was going on plot wise I would’ve thought it would’ve been the obvious Ally vs Conner votes as those two had more screen time, so for Aiden to have the least to do this episode AND be the one kicked didn’t sit right with me. Sure it was here a bit too longer than expected but I thought he probably would’ve left at the next episode when the main plot would focus on him somewhat after this episode’s elimination.
I think Lake should've stayed waaaay longer 😭 she was sorta a waste cuz you never really got to see her really shine as her new self yk

Speaking of TDNG, how did Danny make it so far in season 2, Over the likes of someone like Ron, look I get wanted to end Georgia and Ron’s relationship on a high note, but even then, Danny already won the first season why make him stick around besides the Cosmo plot?
I get Lando making it far, because he at least had something to do Danny didn’t have much besides the Cosmo plot because all of his biggest allies got eliminated early

the challenge it self was so great, one of my favs in the show but yeah i think i was giving the episode too much credit for the challenge alone when there was alot of bad in the episode, think i still somewhat like it but yeah was still giving too much credit
also i would love to see you yap on each character you despise in DC, TD, TDNG may be even some object shows and other fan series (ooo may be if you want you could turn that into a series in the channel :3 ) and just a full on review of next gen series
I hate what they did with Ally so much. All of Ally's plot was horrible writing. The Hunter Ally drama never got solved and worked just as a way to make the heroes fall apart. Horrible.

I have to agree one thing you need to point out is that remember what Tess and Hunter said about bring yourself in Episode 11 cut back to Episode 15 and she whining annoying insecure person. Ashley would be very disappointed of Ally. Also how did Riya outlast Yul, Fiore, Ellie, Tom idk at this point man Yul should of made it to the final 7 or 5 I don't care what anyone says there's barely anyone good on here except Jake and Grett

I never really got the hate for Post-Split Flower. She changed a little bit, sure- But I think she was mostly the same character all the way through, and one I happen to really like.

I don't really hate her per-say, I just think that the development they gave her (the disliked one who only wants friends) was kind of unfitting for the same character that attempted to kill multiple people permanently. It felt more like they were writing for someone like Pin than Flower, to me anyway.

Okay on a real note I think All Stars (in my opinion) has only had one good episode since episode 6 and that’s the rejoin episode. (The episode number I forget)
Grett, Aiden, Jake and Connor were pretty good this episode. None of them really did anything wrong.
Ally tried all season to be better than she was in season 2, and at this point in all stars at least, Ally is the WORST version of herself by a long shot.
I still hate Riya and Alec for a lot of reasons. I think that some kind of redemption for Alec MIGHT have worked before All Stars, same with Ellie and Riya, but all 3 of these characters are revealed to be or do things that are incredibly abhorrent. Alec and Ellie are pretty open and shut cases, but the thing that makes Alec so much worse is that they’re trying to make us feel bad for him AFTER making him admit to letting his child bleed out and admitting to not loving his son. If Brian, Riya and Connor are the final 3 I’m giving up on this show. I’m suprised I haven’t cancelled my patreon yet lmao

-Had a similar downfall arc (Started off likable, witty and reasonable in earlier seasons, the straight-men of their group. But turned into egotistical, pretentious villains who are very negligent towards their family).
-Alec wears a white shirt which isn't too dissimilar to Brian's white fur. (Or Brian's human design)
-Both are "intellectuals" who have an association with reading. (But both come off as more pretentious than smart later on).
-Both have a son who they treat terribly.
-Both are friends with an older guy who offered them kindness when no one else would.
-Both tried to make a move on a woman who was previously involved with said guy.
-They might both have drinking problems but that's unconfirmed.
