Your art is amazing as always. I’m very happy that you published a new speedpaint that I will review very, very, very many times and be inspired to draw just as I was the first time I watched it :D
The sheer level of detail and love you pour into every object in the scene is so inspiring!! Everything down to the duck's sequins on the shirt to the figures on the shelf in the bg has been thought about and rendered in your blocky pop way. Your process also reminds me to use references XD
Conquered those road blocks. The editing is great! The denim texture doesn't look out of place. I really like the shadow outline being complimentary in color and temperature. It also made the socks look soft, I think.
You're such an inspiration to me bro aaa not only your art but also your identity and way you address yourself yk? :o) Im really glad you were so open about it because it comforts guys like me who are obsessed with cute things
deleted my earlier comment lol. Just found out that there's a bit of workaround with the display saturation. Instead of calibrating it from the tablet itself calibrate it from your computer. XP-Pen has the tutorial in their FAQ for Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD. I matched it to my phone since that's usually my reference before uploading. There will always be a difference bc of the color range (I think this display will always have a bit of a bluish tint?) but it's really helpful. Idk if this is what you used too but I hope this can help people. Also I recommend getting XP-Pen's protective film too! The screen was too slippery for me and the paperlike texture makes it easier to control my stylus. Love your art btw, I follow your works on twitter
Oh my gosh your voice is adorable! I watched your CSP review and the art was great! I currently use Procreate but I’m considering using clip studio someday since it’s much more advanced! 💖
Ahhh, such a good review and breakdown of your art piece! I absolutely love seeing all the references and seeing your thought process as you design and render out all the elements!!! ♡ ♡ ♡ Completely blows me away how you stylize all the textures (the holo, the sparkles, the sequins, everything!!) too, which I find is usually very difficult to translate into individual artstyles without looking too out of place but also believable!! >< so cool!!! Also wanted to try asking what canvas size you use? :0 Every time I try to draw small and size up it always ends up being a bit pixel-y, but maybe photoshop is just better at resizing things than csp lol;;;
Thank you for the wonderful review and the timelapse is really great!! Would you recommend this device to someone who can only afford a Wacom One? This model seems to have more features than that. Also afraid One's smaller size could be a problem for me, since I'm switching from a medium Intuos.
hm, I would say yes! this device is more affordable than the Wacom One (about 2/3 the price from what I'm seeing?), so it seems like a better deal, especially since my personal experience with wacom products has been pretty touch and go. i haven't personally tried the wacom one though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt!
aw tysm! god same though, it was pretty frustrating, but i actually did manage to get to a setting i was somewhat okay with. i've also heard from a friend that their color settings were totally fine out of the package, so i'm guessing it depends on the monitor.
what would someone call this art style? i know not everything needs to have a label; i'm not trying to do that, but i just wanna know so i can find some similar references. since it keeps kinda wrong to try and replicate just one persons art, i want a variety of different artists to reference but with this specific style of art.
I think as you said, not everything needs a label! This artists' style is very unique but that's what makes it their style so I think if you want to find something similar or you want to expand your reference pool, I would just keep saving pieces of art that catches your eye and eventually you'll find a frame of what you might be looking for without putting a name to it
do you listen to moe shop?? perfume, by fusq, has had their music remixed by moe shop multiple times and its a very similar style of music! if you dont already, please try to listen to moe shop and snails house!! i think youd like them a lot!

oh thank you so much ;_; let's draw together~ (ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚
Watching you use references to get the shoes right is really inspiring and helped me learn more ways to use references

tysm!! i did do my best with those, and learned a lot in the process!
also, references truly do save my life haha.
WAH NEW HEARTMUSH SPEEDPAINT TODAY IS A GREAT DAY
Conquered those road blocks. The editing is great! The denim texture doesn't look out of place. I really like the shadow outline being complimentary in color and temperature. It also made the socks look soft, I think.
oh thank you! i'm really glad i was able to make something easier to watch. the socks were tough to render but it was still fun hehe
You're such an inspiration to me bro aaa not only your art but also your identity and way you address yourself yk? :o) Im really glad you were so open about it because it comforts guys like me who are obsessed with cute things

Congrats on 80k?(Idk if you've had that number for a while or not 😅)
thank you!! i'm also not sure if i've had it for a while; i only noticed it just now, haha.
i got myself a 13" xp-pen 2nd gen off black friday as a big gift and my first display tablet in 10 years of drawing digitally
