Alot of Slavic influence in the music for these games I believe since they are polish and Slavic mythology heavy. Very unique style which is why everyone can identify the songs immediately
"Wine Wars" is from the Blood & Wine DLC which takes place in Toussaint, a part of the world that is heavily inspired from southern France and Northern Italy. That's why you hear some arcordéon in it. The softer woman voice is also a theme across the whole B&W soundtrack (compared to the very raw voice in the main game's soundtrack). the "wine wars" is a quest where two vineyards are in competition with each other and you are hire as a witcher to get each vineyard rid of the monsters that cause them trouble

@@alarathael9631 Most magical creatures/monsters are weak to silver, in the games literally all of them. In the book the silver sword, since it's a silvered sword that can chip quite easily, is reserved for the more troublesome creatures like high vampires because silver is corrosive to "magically-attuned" creatures. For game purposes Silver just bypasses the defenses Monster-class enemies have vs Steel, and this includes all "Monster" type enemies, from drowners to the Wild Hunt. Just because you can also kill monsters with steel doesn't mean they aren't weaker to silver.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but to add more context, a lot of the songs are rewritten songs from their older albums like Oj Dido from 2008, such as Sargon which is the base for Silver for Monsters. Many of them are Witcher original though.

If you like the voice of Joanna - the lady you mentioned having the grit in her voice, definitely check out the band behind the sound, Percival. Their original sound is the backbone to the Witcher soundtrack, which includes many of their songs (Silver for Monsters is one). Songs like Pasla (the live versions are better) really showcase her vocal ability. Katarzyna has an incredible voice too and can get into that distorted territory.
