"I hope to see you in my next manicure." 😂
I kind of love your monomer bottle. It reminds me of an old ink bottle.
I saw your comment about these being on for two weeks, are you on vacation?

Lol thanks, just a cheap thing I got on Amazon. And no - I mean the tips are on but I’ve been changing out the design. I don’t remove the tips themselves until they grow out.

@@nailsbystephanie0826 I thought you had to keep your nails short for work.

I wasn’t sure, since I started a new job I was being cautious and I cut them shorter. But no one seems to care and I always wear gloves so I’ve just been business as usual until someone says something.

      @@nailsbystephanie0826 Yay!
I'm a reflexologist, so I have to keep mine really short. ☹️ But I'm only working one day a week, so I can change out my press-ons.

I'm sure you know this i'm not sure if you're a professional or not so I'm just gonna say this anyway, but you should always always always put a very very thin layer of acrylic that's clear or natural on your nail whether you're using tips or building out a free edge with paper forms because [besides colored acrylic being harder to work with], it stains your nails and it's more expensive. Just cost effective if you're working on clients to put a thin layer of clear or natural colored acrylic powder on the nail and if you're using nail tips put a thin layer on top of the nail tip.. not only is it cost effective but it stops the staining and it makes it easy to remove when you are ready to switch colors. If you're doing it on your own self you may not care about cost but you still should care about staining and ease of removal so you can wear another color in 3 or 4 weeks. You could even use a translucent pink or a cover color of acrylic like a nude. I tend to use natural to camouflage some of the calcium Spots or sometimes I have darker pink spots on my nails but please start doing that
Some people say you can put a base coat of thin clear gel down before service to make it easier to switch in the future but if you're working with acrylic whether it's tips, full cover tips, or paper forms, it's just more beneficial and it's less convoluted..just put a thin layer of speed clear speed natural or core colors whatever you have. glue your tip on if you're using half tips, then put a very thin amount of clear or natural down on your entire nail including the tip.. If you're doing full cover tips, put a very thin layer of acrylic underneath your tip, if you're using paper forms, put the form on and then swipe a thin layer of clear acrylic on your entire nail and the form all for protection and ease of removal of color

Thank you for the advice, I really do appreciate it and I'm sure other readers do as well. I always have a clear base coat on my nails before I do anything, even if it doesn't seem so - and I don't use acrylic all that much on myself so I default to builder gel for everything, even when using acrylic because I'll literally do 1 set in 10 acrylic and then go back to gel. Yes I am a professional (now) though I wasn't when I posted this video.
