Good luck this upcoming season. since our season is a week later than yours, it has become tradition at our camp to watch your videos before we hunt. Be safe and shoot straight.
Ben good to see the he younger men sharing love of camp and the hunt and some hard work.. my camp is down to three… me,myself and I . Best of luck may your aim be true and git-r-done 🦌🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It'll be here before you know it. Now to figure out how to get time to stop while at camp. :) 1.0 and 2.0 got ya! I cant wait to turn the truck north in a couple weeks! There's nothing like the UP. Good luck gentlemen!
Here at are camp.western Massachusetts...your first weekend, eating and watching football.choirs are all done .stack a cord of wood this morning, gonna chill and have few ..good luck to camp Benny..
Our Archery Season opened up here in Massachusetts 3 weeks ago. I was able to get the biggest 4 point i’ve personally ever seen last Monday! Love this stuff! Going up to Deer Camp in Upstate NY in just 3 weeks! Can’t wait!
A lot of work accomplished. 2 camp maintenance is big work. Good luck out there. Be safe. Deer camp fun is deeply satisfying even if it can be hard work. Nice to see your son’s partaking. Wonderful!
Right on Bud ! The work is behind us for this season. Looking forward to more of the more fun work now like long days on stand and dragging deer 🦌 Good luck to you this fall!
Hello Benny. Camp is looking fantastic, and I am reporting from Grayling. Lots of does with fawns but no bucks. Private land Near exit 259. Good luck, and keep us posted. Mike from Grayling!
Oh boy its getting close, i have been up to the camp and filled the feeders a few times already. They are definitely starting to chase the does in the u.p. according to my pics at our camp over by Goetzville
I used to have nothing but a natural blind. But as I get old there is nothing like a blind with a heater. By this time I always get the jitters before November15. Enjoy your season with the crew.
Good luck from Montana. Deer and elk are on my list as usual. Getting knee surgery next year so hopefully I’ll be able to get around a little better then. Sold our calves and some wheat so have a couple bucks in the pocket. Good luck to everyone in Michigan.
Can't wait for your season to start I really like the new camp you can finally see you guys. I was wondering were has your brother been haven't seen him in the last couple of deer season.
@SpringflingBowfishing2023 thanks for watching Bud! We're enjoying being able to see at the new camp. 😀 My brother maybe up in the future we'll see. For now he's hunting back home.
It's been a brutal few years at our camp north of seney. Spent 10 days straight in the woods last year and didn't see a deer. We have around 8 to 10 hunters out of 2 camps. We have seen lots of wolf sign. Even witnessed a yearling killed around 9am opening morning. Still won't get me to miss camp. It's about the friendship and memories...good luck...
@pauldombrowski2330 thanks for watching Paul and sorry to hear how lousy the hunting has been. We weren't impressed with the sign we saw on our quick trip up but we didn't get alot of.time to scout around either. Can't wait for deer camp either way like you said. Good luck to your entire camp!
You guys should have way more subscribers you make some of the best hunting videos on here .. PEOPLE reading this comment. Share these videos with others..... Thanks for the Awesome videos guys
Ben, I was setting here watching the end of the video and noticed something. You need an old vintage aluminum percolator coffee pot. Coffee always tastes better in a percolator setting on the stove perking. Just an observation from an old country boy here in WV.
This show is Great, found it last year, still can't get enough. Have a Question, sorry if it has been answered before, is there anyway to order a Camp Benny hat, any info would be greatly appreciated, wish you good luck in the season
Thanks for watching and your kind comment Bud! Unfortunately we do not have any hats to sell at the moment. Good luck this season and thanks again for watching our adventures!
Just curious, but what do you guys do if it is unusually warm when deer season starts? We don’t have the "meat pole" here in Georgia. I always skin and quarter up and ice down in a cooler as soon as I can. Just curious??
Thanks for watching. Depending on how warm it is. 20 years ago, we had unusually warms temps, so we stripped the hide, quartered them up, and put them in coolers of ice similar to what you described. Sometimes, we can get away with just filling the cavity with bags of ice and hang them in a more shaded area. Good luck this season!
Thanks for watching! We've hunted several different areas, and your question is one that is tough for us to gauge. I would speculate that our areas are heavily impacted by wolves but especially when the winters are tough. Last winter, the deer really got a nice break. We would expect an impact of deer mortality (from wolves) to be less for a season, at least until predators have fully taken over. As the wolf population increases, the winter severity problem only increases. We are of the mindset that the wolves are already way past the u.p.'s carrying capacity and should be managed at the state level. Good luck this season 👍🏼
Really like the channel but watched Brian shoot a deer a ways back shot it high on the right side then showed the deer on the ground shot low on the left side with arrow still sticking out of the deer really expected more from your channel ben don't understand why the shot changed again really like the show but don't know if I can trust you again.
@thomasshepherd2580 Brian shot it high and paralyzed the deer midway and back. The buck still had control of it's front legs and was pawing away. If you're a seasoned hunter you know what I mean. Brian sent another arrow to the pump station to not let the buck suffer. That's the story. Nothing was hidden. Thanks for watching and have a good weekend
Thank you, that makes sense like I said you always seem to be on the level about everything . not too many guys on TH-cam are doing things the right way . appreciate the reply Will continue to watch the show.
It’s lookin good fella’s! Good luck, looking forward to this year’s deer camp videos.

@ Nope everyone died or moved away.. we hunted near baraga. Usually did ok,even got up close personal with a wolf in 99. Within 5yds
@phildo39645 sorry to hear about your loss of camp members.
@ Thanks, I’ve got young kids now, maybe someday I’ll be able to introduce them. Good to see you and your boys out there.:)

Oh yeah we're very familiar with those. That's what we have at the first camp.
I agree. Percolator and deer camp are synonymous!
Only way is to make good coffee is perking old school over heat!
Thanks for watching! I honestly don't miss it much.
Watching from the blind atm
Good luck Dennis!

I'm surprised you guys get so many deer in the U.P. How much have the wolves impacted the deer hunting in your area?

@campbenny Yes, the wolves should be managed with a hunting season. Good luck to you guys too, of course we'll all be watching!
What county are you hunting?
Painted deer on a box blind..... what could go wrong.....
Right!
