What would you recommend, area wise, to a woman in her 30’s? Wanting a quieter suburb area, I work from home, but also would like to not have super close neighbors? I’m also open to renting for maybe a year or two to get to know the state before I buy a home.
I suppose I’d like an area with a grocery, gym, coffee shops etc. but I definitely don’t want to be in the center of a large city. But I wouldn’t mind driving to a city when I’d like to spend the day if that makes sense

This woman is a crock of bovine scatology. I moved here in '86. That is when it was time to take advantage of the opportunity. I was a homebuilder in OKC, lost everthing in the recession. If you move to nash now? Better make big bucks. My simple condo I bought in 2013 has grown 2 and 1/2 times. Lucky me. All these scum bags don't tell you, is Nashville topography is in a bowl. If you dont have allergies, you will. All the palutants settle here. More allergy clinics here than anywhere. My suggestion ,get local honey. I've tried it all. Nash is democrats, my property tax went up 34% last year. My MTG company paid it out of my escrow. All i can saw is , enjoy your visit. Only reason I go downtown is for a Preds hockey game. I figured out how to have fun, enjoy some new restaurants, with out the bogus tourist traps on Broadway, fu Garth Brooks. Stay away from that, and you'll enjoy Smashville.
