I’m moving to one of these suburbs in July and I’m curious if there are tornado shelters in apartment complexes or if most towns have some sort of shelter for people who don’t have basements

Super question; honestly, I’ve never seen an apartment that had what they called a tornado shelter. What you do learn is the best thing to do in the rare event that there are tornado warnings in your area. We do have tornado sirens, so you absolutely would hear, and you always go to the lowest part of the building you can find away from all windows if youare in your own home go to an interior room with bathroom would be the best because of the strength of the walls with tile, etc. but every place you will live you will figure out your best location in the event of tornado warnings coming through your area.

Franklin town and Franklin County are two different places Franklin County.

Yes they are! Franklin the city is in Williamson county.
