Cheers John, yeah I always found the info about this game to be pretty intriguing! There’s so little out there about it, I always had hopes that more might come to light at some point but I guess it’s fairly unlikely. Still, we got Akira and Castlevania Resurrection and I thought those were long lost, so I guess there’s always hope that more might show up one day! Cheers for watching dude, as always it’s much appreciated! - Dibbs
Yeah there’s not a whole lot of info out there on it alas. I had hoped as time passed there might be more that came out about this one but it’s looking unlikely. Still, I wanted to document what little there was about it, I read about it back at the time so wanted to make something so it’s not entirely lost to time. Thanks for watching again mate! - Dibbs
That’s so kind of you! Many thanks, it’s great to hear you’re enjoying our vids, that means a lot and your nice comment is much appreciated, cheers! - Dibbs
It's a shame that Air NiGHTs never materialized but I suppose at the same time I'd rather Sonic Team not have forced the game out if their hearts weren't fully into it and it became an uninspired follow up. I haven't played the Wii game yet, in what ways did it fail to live up to the original?
It’s been a long time since I played, but to be fair I felt like I enjoyed JoD a bit more than most people that I saw talking about it. I bought a Wii just to play it so I was determined to get the most out of it but I think the thing I didn’t enjoy about it was that in the flying sections they put a big chain from the top to the bottom of the stage that blocked your ability to go around again after 1 lap. In the original there was such a buzz using your time to get bigger scores and getting one more go round the courses and making it back to the cake thing with less than a second to go so that alteration I didn’t enjoy so much. I’m just going off of vague memories though, I could be talking rubbish here! 😂 They tried to expand it with other sections like levels where you control the kids and do some platforming so the flying wasn’t the only gameplay section available, but I didn’t particularly get too much out of the other stuff on offer. Overall, I didn’t hate it though, I actually did have a great time with it the day it came out but I’ve not gone back to it too much since. Oh, and the music is still fantastic! Well worth listening to! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, all the best to you! - Dibbs
I never knew they were making a sequel for the Dreamcast! Some nice information 😊

I’d be happy for Nights to have cameo roles until we get a new game
Yeah at this point I’d take that, it would just be nice to see Sega give NiGHTS a nod again even if it’s not his own full game!
First I've heard of it DA so a cool thing to learn that's now in my repertoire of stuff I'll likely never need but is cool anyway
