CoA was on sale for half off the other day about 15 dollars got you enought dp to buy it. Maybe farm the gold in game and buy it on the AH. Def worth it
Loving the classes man!! You really do have a great vision for each and every one!! My one main concern for CoA, and I've had it for awhile, is that I'm worried it will feel like Ascension. It sounds a little bit funny but let me explain. So, Ascension is a a really fast paced experience that allows you to try a lot of different abilities and ways to play the game, so fast however that things lose their value and aren't as impactful. For CoA I feel like it would be a mistake to follow these same threads. It would feel much better without the insane amount of loot you get from every single mob or how they die almost instantly. It would feel a lot better if leveling was a journey and it actually took time to reach the max level rather than dungeon spamming and being there in a few hours. There would be much more attachment to these amazing classes you've helped to create, otherwise it just won't last which I feel like is the whole point. Sorry for the rant but I've definitely had some strong feelings about this haha!! Hopefully things turn out as amazing as we all hope in the end! Great work Mcdoubles!
A lot of CoA’s classes are so creative. I wholeheartedly wish that we had a “Void Paladin” like Cultist or in other words a “Melee Void Class” with a Tank, DPS, and Healer Specs in retail the theme and spell visuals are so good. Tinker is great as well.
@@JamesDeanoli Yeah, I could’ve worded that better. I’m basically saying that I love Cultist in CoA and I wish there was something that scratches that itch. Especially with all of the upcoming Void themes focus.
Honestly, I'd swap the models of the "giga turret" and the baseline turret. Simply put, one of them has more 'base' animations and no seat (Implies automated) whereas the current base turret model has a seat and controls that would imply it being piloted - The model also supports being sat on, which would be cool to show whos' sat on it - and in a usability context, would allow people to still target the pilot to heal them etc.
How on earth has Blizz not figured this out yet? I really hope we get this in the expac after TWW as the “machinist” class given the emphasis that’s been put on that aspect of Earthen culture and us getting earthen as a playable race.
Very nice. I like how the bunker and mines seem to synergize so well in pvp. the triple jump also reminds me of demon hunts in retail with the insane mobility.
They are going to have to write some conditional logic around this to disallow collision mesh under specific circumstances. Tedious, but not hard, and something you just have to do when pushing the limits of creativity.
2:55 Some 'Rounds' thoughts: if there are specialty rounds that'd be sweet. High-explosive, dragons-breath, cryo, lightning/shock, etc. Hmm, something inspired by the gw2 combo system: mortar shot a sludge bomb (nature damage field) then shoot fire (dragons-breath) into it causing the field to explode. If that's too difficult on the back end then just hitting someone who's 'sludged' with fire could give them a short duration fire dot. That'd be a neat gameplay loop: keeping people 'sludged' so you can chain torch them. 7:26 Oh look specialty rounds :3
The Heal specc looks so awesome. I cant decide witch class i should Play. Maybe all 21. 😂 could you say somthing about the pve content in COA ? Would it be Like Ascension ? Pull as much as you can and kill anything so easy ? Run and run and run. For Personalilty After 3/4 runs it getting boring. No Challeng is bad for me. No tanking specc for tinker? When starting the video I really thought there would be a tank, as a mecha-suite with dampening effects would be so fitting in my opinion. Still definitly a cool class, especially if played as gnome with engeneering as profession.
I wish I could be hype for CoA but it feels like Wows version of a "seasonal realm" Great concept, but nothing will beat classless and how it's dominated for years. Looking forward to give it a go on the side
Hmm I thought that the mech suit will be a tank spec focusing on repairing it, adding shields and deal damage AoE damage. I like the concept of the torrets, but i will preffer it as a separate spec.
Yeah tinkers have so much options for gameplay and while the different guns was a cool idea and add to it also being riflemen, but is it as much of being a tinkerer. Honestly I am just curious of what if the turrets was for inventor and I am not sure on the names. I think inventor and mechanic should swap names because mechanics heal machinery to have it work again. Yes I understand the name is largely about getting the scrap to fix the shredder but to me I think people would instantly think the mechanic is the healer while inventor is the one that makes things like the shredder. Also I know it is too late for this idea but what if the beacons lasted longer and overcharging it causes it to malfunction with you then needing to consider if you want it to just wait to expire or put focus on repairing it. I think that would add to the fantasy with you actively working on the machines.
The only CoA class I'm interested in is the tinker but I wanted a tinker tank always being in its shredder / mech kills it. Not having that kills it for me and makes me not even want to play CoA, hopefully they change it and give us a tank tinker because right now it looks like a hunter with totems and instead of traps / pets we have landmines and mecha pets.
If you're gonna use a rifle, it looks to me like you're better off to keep being a hunter. Engineer is taking a big hit from that class though and it makes me sad in a way. Maybe the professions need a rework as well, to keep up to speed.
I LOVE this class more than any other in CoA! This is absolutely the most unique and fun to play in any version of WoW! With that being said I HATE reload!!! Please remove this!
Tinker shots especially in healing is over taxed imo. You have to worry about a plethora of abilities AND mana AND reloading. The reload is something that is simply not needed nor dose it add to anything to the class. PLEASE remove reload!
@Mcdoubles please remove all of the Tinker spell reagents. They feel terrible and Coppy Bolts are currently 10g each because they are req for Minelayer Bot. PLEASE just get rid of needing reagents it feels bad when I level up, get a new skill, and then can't even use it or even afford to buy the reagents to use the spells.

the collision LOS tinker ability should not work like that, People will grief choke points where noone can enter. Like an AH , house, quest npc, or maybe a narrow alleyway that leads to a zone like a cave entrance, the stv arena areas, deadwind pass into swamp. or used as object to get to areas by jumping on it not intended. maybe im over thinking it, as it probably has a low duration on the field.
As cool as the existing specializations are, the lack of a persistent mechsuit tank spec completely ruins the "Tinker" class fantasy for me. And while I would consider that blasphemous in retail WoW, the fact that CoA has so many other cool classes makes my disappointment for the Tinker far less palpable.

you can make in demolishion tinker a spell named oiled up makes the explosion radius of your spells on that target bigger
