Hints that there will NOT be a Tinker class or any class in general: 1) Blizzard never releases a new class mid xpansion. A new spec maybe. If they want to continue the pattern with how Aug was released. 2) The new class always has the theme of the xpansion running. Dks with WotLK, Monks with MoP e.t.c. Tinkers have nothing to do with TWW in general and a single tier patch wont be enough. 3) People insisted that Tinkers will be a thing since BFA with Mechagon, Mekkatorque, Gazlowe e.t.c. I hope i m wrong though because i would probably main it, but thats what Blizzard moves have shown me so far.
people said they would never add a new spec mid expansion and they did. people said they would never add housing but they are. people said they would never add account wide everything but they did. you get the gist right? blizz have realised that doing crazy stuff like that mid expansion picks up a slump, one huge issue they have is aug and a great way to fix it is to add a tinker class with a support spec, it's not far fetched at all
@@liamdavies2823 As i said i hope its true cause i would probably main it but the thing is this. We had a new class in the previous xpansion. We never had 2 back to back. Its not late to change that for sure but the bigger issue lies elsewhere. Its different to create a spec mid xpansion, rather than a whole class with 2-3 roles. It needs time to test it, "balance" it somehow so ppl wont stack it in raids e.t.c. Its too soon. And not in the concept of TWW. Unless they decided to change their pattern with the creation of aug mid df, i highly doubt we will get tinker at least for now.
@@tolisace6908 I do see your point, however I’m being overly hopeful here as a devoker main lol. Only way dev will ever be meta is if they add a new support. Tinkers pls blizzard!!
Orc mechanics/engineers are a thing! What if: A: Gnomes, Mechagnomes, Draenei H: Goblins, Orcs, Mag'har Orcs B: Earthen But, imho, Tinker should be initially race-locked only to be made available to all races shortly afterwards
Alliance: gnome, human, draenei, worgen, dwarf, dark iron, earthen, void elf. Horde: goblin, orc, forsaken, blood elf, tauren. These races either have outright robots or have shown an affinity for engineering and mechanical knowledge. Gnomes, humans, draenei, dwarves and void elves, all have some kind of robots working for them, from the simple harvest golem of the humans, to arcane constructs of draenei and blood elves. While orcs have shown time and time again that they are capable of using advanced tech, forsaken are just humans, and tauren have built Thunder Bluff which can't even work without engineering skill.
I would hope mechagnome, and treat them like druids, where each race has different appearance. I would like for the mechagnome to transform like a transformer instead of getting into a different suit.
@@irelandryan It would be great to see each race have a different tanking mechsuit and other sorts of tech. Draenei artificer tech looks wayyy different than Orc engineers' etc., and that would be great to see Perhaps the reason we did not get a Tinker announcement is because making those different designs takes a lot of work, and it was not 100% 100% ready, but they are burning the "Midnight" oil to get Tinkers out there asap
I have a huge doubt that Blizzard would introduce a class in the middle of an Xpac. Plus, we already received a new class with Dragonflight, and Blizzard never introduce a class in the expac following an expac introducing a new class, question of class balance.
Yea a class especially one that has been wanted for so long is such an easy way to sell an expansion it would be hard for me to see them drop mid expansion with how money hungry they are after launching a $90 mount.
I hear what you're saying about keeping it Gnomes/Goblins. But given the fact that Earthen are the new shiny race, and they have Machine-speakers, pretty sure that if Tinkers how up, Earthen will be included. Not my preference, but how I see it playing out.
I mean it makes sense only those three races are the only really conventionally technological races. Draenei and most elf races only use magical technology
Hold back a class due to “lore reasons” is just dumb. You’re telling me that a creature who can control the arcane and all the elements can’t understand how a mech suit works? Or how a flamethrower works? Or how bombs work? If we’re talking about accuracy, it makes no sense how humans can be paladins and KT can’t be paladins. This list of race/combinations can go on for quite some time. Race and class combinations need to be abolished. I’m so sick and tired of this nonsense restriction. If I want an UD Paladin, I should be able to make that. If I want a human shaman, I should be able to play that and not be restricted “because the lore doesn’t support it”. So asinine.
@@matthewalexander2780 i kinda agree, i do think certain classes like dh/evoker/druid/shaman should be kept to certain races though.. druid and evoker should be expanded to more races tho
Dont get my hopes up. I been wanting a tinker since tbc. But if they would give it to us i think it will be in 11.1.7 with some kind of "since we liberated undermines this warriors would join you" And they need to be a 4 spec class with it all Tank/dps (ranged and melee talents)/healer/support
we also need either a mail/cloth tank, dps and healers are every armor type but we have yet to see a cloth/mail tank, tinker could easily fall into the mail category, but i feel if anything, we are gonna see more hero specs get added, specifically void/light themed ones for every spec, but getting a like, 4 spec tinker class would be amazing
I think if they were going to introduce a new class mid expansion it would be incomplete, and not playable in end game content, like the blue mage in final fantasy 14. Maybe it could have you going across the world to find different do dads and what not to create different gadgets or bots to help you along the way, or even augments kinda like what season of discovery has been doing with their little “additional abilities”. Releasing higher levels as the expansion goes on and by midnight, the class will be fully playable with the rest of the mix. That’s if they went down that road. I’m hard pressed to believe we could see a full class mid expansion.
I think having Goblins and Gnomes is the way to go, but I also think Earthen may get it too, which im not 100% against. They are already being shown as the builders and even "tinkering" type group. The lore is showing the earthen were building much of the Titan buildings and other things. I don't see how they wouldn't include the newest race if they plan to release tinker during this trio of expansions.
Listen, I’m all for tinkers, but the transmog situation would suck so bad. Unless I’m transmogging a mech with armor, I’m not going to be able to enjoy gnomes and goblins. You should think more about Humans and Orcs. The Orc engineers from the Iron Horde are definitely capable. The same goes for Draenei artificers. In my opinion, the most likely scenario is your looking at Gnome, Goblin, All dwarves, all Orcs, all humans. Basically, everything except the elves and animal races.
I would love to know who “everyone” is when we’re talking about “it’s on everyone’s mind and at the tip of everyone’s tongues”. It was built up and we transitioned into that Isle and unlocking them, etc. It wasn’t some random unbeknownst thing. I would imagine if they did introduce a Tinker class, it would be similar to the GW2 Engineer and how they could swap, etc. I believe there’s is just so much copium and conspiracy for this and people are reaching.

Just give the mechagnome a hero class for tinker, then only need to add same for goblins and call it a day. Don't need more "races" that replicate what we already have. Got several dwarf forms already and 2 gnomes. 2 orcs > 2 tauren > multiple elves and only 1 goblin.
Engineering really hasn’t been impactful since Classic, can’t even be used in rated PvP I think people want a full class because engineering is just not impactful because it has to be balanced with other professions which ultimately makes it boring
