8:52 minute video. It took only a few seconds to state that the suspected reason to wave off the tower catch was that the radio frequency transmitter/antenna system on top of the tower may have been damaged by lift off and was therefore not able too provide the accurate positioning coordinates needed for the catch.

Not certain it’s AI, could just be using a computer generated voice, as my company does for training videos, but the scripts are all written by humans.
I don’t like that they are not providing any new video footage but just reusing clips from other channels and SpaceX.

AI is just another tool. It's like when photography came along and put most of the portrait painters out of business. They flat out refused that any form of photography could be artistic, and now people realise there are photos that don't qualify as art to them, and photos that are incredibly artistic. Same thing has been happening with music. This video is not art, lots of AI generated images are not art. I play around with some more advanced AI image generation workflows that allow me to get really creative and hone in on the details, instead of just typing in a prompt and letting the AI model do it's thing. I wouldn't consider myself an artist, it's just for fun but this keeps happening as new technology gets invented. This is much more rapid and widespread with these new AI models though.

As time goes on you'll start to see some really awesome AI stuff that isn't just automated synthetic garbage. People will use it to make stuff that just wouldn't have been made possible to do before.

Or, a single take-off / capture tower as now but move the transmitter / antenna nearby to a simpler and cheaper elevated mast similar to a cell tower but sufficiently far enough away from takeoff tower that can cause damage. I'm assuming the antenna does not require being right on top of the capture tower. If it does - never mind . . .

I'm no rocket scientist but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once. All kidding aside, I wonder why the crucial communications hardware isn't located on a separate tower, given the crazy pressures, heat that it has to withstand being so close to the lift-off/landing apparatus.

So if Musk "Reveals" why doesn't the video tell us what he revealed? This is a misrepresentation which I resent. It was obvious that the damage to the launch tower wasn't a lightening rod but a communications tower but I was hoping to discover that the miss alignment would have affected the guidance precision in the last few metres. Also, there was an error in the description of the in-orbit Raptor firing. It was one of the inner gimbaled low altitude optimised engines that was tested not a vacuum optimised as stated in the narrative.

IMO, I believe this proves that HB and Starship should have landing legs. No “catching” is going to be perfect every time. Murphy works 24/7. Using a landing pad as an emergency backup makes more sense. Each iteration of Raptor engines is getting more efficient, powerful, and more reliable. The weight penalty of the landing legs is far cheaper than the cost of having to the replacement of a HB or Starship. With landing legs one can almost land anywhere. Besides I believe Starship will have to have landing legs to be human rated.

Flight 6 and still getting problems. Even with Space X is Amazing high tech support equipment. We all already know they can launch 1,006 Starships but they WILL NEVER be as exciting as a Saturn V launch NEVER as long as Musk has a hole in his rear end. I am starting to notice people are getting bored with Space X launches already. I will also remind you the Saturn FAMILY of launch vehicles had 33 launches between 1961 and 1973 without ONE FAILURE. How many failures has Star Ship had so far ? Three or four.
