Oh man, closed course circuits primarily for bike races -- imagine that. That is awesome. p.s. Speaking of awesome, it's really cool to see how this channel has evolved. Watching race footage and connecting with a rider from overseas is a treat to see. If there were TH-cam awards complete with paparazzi, you, sir, would be walking down the red carpet. Bravo.
Always interested in seeing good race footage, so I'm all for having Glenn back on if you don't have anything of you racing to share. Imagine having your own race course! Those Dutch know how to live the cycling life.
I learn so much more watching this channel than I do from watching televised cycling. Keep up the good work and stay safe with the fires!! Cheers from CO
I am enjoying these videos very much. As a guy who first raced a Raleigh Technium, and then a Black Lightening in the 80’s it is such a thrill to see racing like this thanks to GoPro and great commentating. I feel as if I am back in the peloton! I feel the turns, and my HR goes up on the breaks. Keep the Dutchman in your future videos. The technology has advanced since my racing days but the racing is exactly the same (intersquad meets, in particular; something we had at Motorola.)
Greeting from the Netherlands 👋 DAC racing is always 🔥 (DAC translate to Tuesday Evening Competition). Our clubs track is not as nice as this, 4 left corners and a tiny elevation change at the finish.
Come visit us over here one day and to find out if we are indeed super humans... Glenn is just the above average good dutch bike racer with a good sprint. Dutchies of this age group pretty much all have a good level of English.
How in the world does he keep his heart rate around 170 doing the high wattage sprints mine would go up around 200 I would get dropped by these guys, you think a guy with good genetics for endurance can be in this kind of shape ive been road bike racing since I was 15 I'm 21 now you think I could be in similar shape to this guy at mabey 25 or 30 with good consistent training?
Pretty funny considering the US is infinitely bigger than the Netherlands and significantly bigger than Europe. Shouldn't you guys have plenty of space to set up closed circuits?
Finally you pick a race to talk no offense to you’re category 1/2/3/4/5 but most of you’re guys have 0 chances in This Dutch races Average guys are over 6 tall super powerful
In the Netherlands you have a Pro National championship, which includes all pro categories and the Continental riders. The Elite Club Amateur National championships and then several Masters national championships (40+/50+/60+).
Can we all just take a moment and appreciate Jeff's commitment to not learning how to pronounce the Dutch language?
More Glen and Dutch racing/analysis please
They know how to race

In a beautiful Mike's Bikes gown
@@ianbent0n Ha! Who are you wearing?
They are awesome! I just gotten into riding and found a closed circuit near my hometown Haarlem (Netherlands) there's multiple all over the country!
Multiple 1000+ Watt bombs! Dutch racers are built like trees dude
Definitely would like to see more Glenn !! Cool guy !
Agreed! Planning on having more of these
The power these guys are putting out are insane.
Hell yeah. He's a fricken beast
More please, really like watching those super narrow Euro races!
Many thanks for all the inspirational content, Jeff. Great race Glenn! 🚴♂🚴♂🚴♂

Superb, as always. Glenn is a great guest! Would love to see more!
Imagine holding 500W and then seeing someone fly past you going at least 5 mph faster
I thought from the title that this was going to be racing Van Der Poel.
Still really interesting to watch!
Haha they wouldn't dare try. Would get smoked
just did my first 40 kilometer crit down in Belgium and so many of your tips and tricks really work man keep up the grind bro.

Yes! Been riding here a few times! More Glenn please!
i want more of those dutch races !! it's crazy !
Great commentary, can you do one of Australian races?
I uploaded an Australian race last week, happy to do more if people send me footage
The guy on the Trek that pushed Glenn to the left did what Glenn wanted to do. Niiiice video bro.
Awesome content guys, would love to see some more racing & commentary from Glenn!
Im from Philippines, i dont do races that much but I'm happy that I have tons of things, stuff that I learned here. good stuff, great content.
excellent commentary - this is the best of the best.
Need more of this.
Great job. Thank you for the superb insight and commentary.
Yesss, more Glenn and euro race analysis!
A few centipedes is a couple of inches. Got it. Never a centipede around when I need one though.
Greeting from the Netherlands 👋

Papendal? Haha
Great format - subjective/objective takes at the same time. Amazing work Glenn!
Dutch races are crazy 💪🏽💪🏽
Excellent video. Loved it. Sprint at the end was cool, so so much to learn from these videos.
Oh, im such a fan your channel. Working to be on it someday.
I frickin' love this channel
this is such a great channel. I have learned so much and it has made watching the tour de france so much more fun and interesting.
video getting so much better, great work 👍
Im gonna sub only to see more Dutch Cycling analysis
It's coming
Love all your videos bro

Super Legit 🇳🇱
It would be awesome to see NorCal hit up some Dutch racing!!
Sweet delicious footage.lol
omg, those watt bombs all throughout the race is consistent
More Glenn, those guys are fast
Super kick, lekker nuchter. More Glenn!
More of Glenn's videos!
Glen and Jeff once covid has calmed down you two need to race with each other. maybe virtual race lol.
Prachtig dat steenkolen engels. hahaha lekker man
Twengels 😉
@@goosjer Is toch behoorlijk steenkolen Engels hoor.
great format, keep it up
more glen!
Ah the flying police officer from the Netherlands. Nice to see you here Glenn!
Looks like there's some nice singletrack there as well.
Fantastic video
sheeeesh that course looks fun but scary! so tight
Bike path crit! Wish we had these in the states.
lol just wanted to sprint him
More from Glenn
Hey! How you connect the race data real time with the video? Is this a special app or you’ve done it yourself? Btw best cycling videos on youtube🙏🏼
I'm wondering that too.. So, please, can somebody who knows this answer? Jeff, you maybe 😄 Thanks..
Front of the break away around 500 to 600 W but while in cover just down to 200 W. Wow really need some mates for my ride. Solo cycling sucks.😑
Man , I wish I could be there !
Bit off-topic, but what bike is his friend riding? Looks clean!
YannickLB I ride an canyon aerode from 2015 I think. Wheels are custom made
@@Robke907 Ah, dankje!
By the guy’s voice, I thought that he looks like Hulk. :D
More Glenn
He’s a great cyclist, but honestly I am more surprised out how good his English is as a second language 🤯 The man is super human
They learn English early in a lot of European countries
The Netherlands are ranked as being the best non-native country when it comes to speaking English ;)
haha, I bet he speaks at least 4 languages and possibly more. The Dutch are good like that.
Come visit us over here one day and to find out if we are indeed super humans... Glenn is just the above average good dutch bike racer with a good sprint. Dutchies of this age group pretty much all have a good level of English.
I have had French German and English at school as a Dutch that's quite normal some even add Spanish
Very cool 👍
I'll chip in $20 to send you to race there Jeff - would be really interesting to see what you think on those road in that company. Bring your GoPro!!
glens a cool guy
More glen plz
I know some great race footage of 1 of the realy technical Dutch crits. Dont know how to contact you guys. Its realy nice.
Petition for Jeff to shave his goatee and leave the mustache.
Didn’t Glenn just teach you guys that it’s not about the facial hair based image and all about the watts and racing skills? 😉
he's going for the alaphilipe look
I dunno the horse shoe is pretty cool
More of riders need disc brakes for best stopping power and plus it’s a complete upgrade from old rim brakes
Amazing

friendly push
Lol Easter egg
That is alot of neon yellow and blue
WHAT´S YOUR W (WATS) POWER DETECTOR ON THE BIKE????
I give 10 bucks to see him in europe
Imagine your CC owning its own closed circuit ....only in Europe
Pretty funny considering the US is infinitely bigger than the Netherlands and significantly bigger than Europe. Shouldn't you guys have plenty of space to set up closed circuits?
@@HGZie I'm not in the US .....
Did you get footage of the Colorado state championship crit? It was at the same place as the one in golden that you did a little while ago.
I got a submission from the p12 race, but the GoPro died before the finish so unfortunately I don't think I can use it
Does Glenn have youtube? Is he on strava?
why is the guy at 4:50 using a small case under his sadlle? its al weight
Did I miss it somehow, or did we really not even find out if Glenn hung onto the points jersey?
What app are you using to get the speed power and heart rate on the screen
I thought he was challenging Jakobsen from the title.
Jakobsen is not going to be challenged for a while... :-(
Jakobsen is a professional, one step above elite.
Godly

Dit engels is prachtig

NorCal, much is made about how Europeans are so much better. If you were in the mix, do you feel you'd be competitive. Just keepin' it real.
Your own private closed circuit race course. Are we absolutely sure this is Holland and not heaven?
In a 50k radius we have 3 kind of closed circuits. Its the same everywhere in the netherlands, maybe weare lucky.
European riders are freaking strong
my club doesn't have a closed circuit....dang....maybe i have to pay more than 35 dollars a year to be in the club...duh
How the frick do these guys go 50k an hour for an hour. That's insane to me
bike?
Cannondale Supersix evo di2 ultegra 2019
Finally you pick a race to talk no offense to you’re category 1/2/3/4/5 but most of you’re guys have 0 chances in This Dutch races Average guys are over 6 tall super powerful
How is this guy the nat champ? MVDP is as of a few weeks ago. Fabio the year prior.
Bram de Wit they said he’s the amateur national champ.
In the Netherlands you have a Pro National championship, which includes all pro categories and the Continental riders. The Elite Club Amateur National championships and then several Masters national championships (40+/50+/60+).
Good to mention that the 'amateur' national champion in a country like the Netherlands is only a few % away from being pro. The level is very heigh
Faaaaaast racing
That’s sketchy racing!
