I don't feel bad at all for Monica and Phoebe about the coma guy. They got him into that coma, they were to ones making all the stupid assumptions about him, the guy owes them absolutely nothing.
I was kinda bothered that she took their side on that. That she didn't see that they were both showing some red flags there. It was written as such. Not to bag on Monica and Phoebe because every friend has their issues and red flag moments. I always felt they were showing behavior that I usually complain about some men doing. The "I did all that stuff, you owe me better, you should feel obligated to go out with me". And the guy was in a coma while they were doing all that anyway. And making up the ideal man image they built for him also goes to the typical complaint about male behavior, building up this whole idea of desperately wanting to be with him based on knowing absolutely nothing about him except his looks.

It's really interesting how young people watching old sitcoms try to analyze characters like it's a full quality Breaking Bad level drama. It's really not, their actions are twisted and exaggerated for fun. It's like analyzing a father and husband figure of Al Bundy
I’ve noticed this a lot. Nothing personal to her, it’s like the entire generation does this and I’m just having a hard time understanding. A perfect example is all the people that see tiny bits and pieces of shows like Friends and Seinfeld and go on an absolute rampage about how “problematic” the characters are. It’s literally NOT that serious, because in the 90’s, we understood that things were just meant to be comedic and not to9 tear apart every little thing people did on a tv show as if it was real life.
So, just a little something fun to note: At some point in the series, Joey gets a Magna Doodle for the front door. In each episode there will usually be a thematic drawing or limerick that relates to the plot. So now that you know, you can keep an eye out for that because it’s just a funny little easter egg, and it typically takes awhile for people to catch onto them.
I understand your take on Ross and Rachel's relationship and I see your point. However, I might say that he's not that bad of a guy. All of them have flaws, and that's supposed to be the relatable aspect of these characters.
