In that case lateral displacement check should be done for equivalent static method? If we do then we might have higher displacement as the model still does not have the infill part but we are considering the shear which is taking care of infill part in the Ta equation.
Do you think buildings having height less than 15m will be displacement governing even if we check with higher static force? The time period less than o.4 sec itself describes that building is more stiff, not flexible hence there is no requirement of checking displacement in such cases.
