Same. I love McFarlane and I'm stoked for this figure because I haven't gotten the prior "grinning" heads, and I think this is the best of them so far, but Bagley is the ideal Venom for me. I'd kill for one modeled after Lethal Protector 1.

Small heads up, you said you are hoping for a new Vulcan update, we’re getting that with the new punisher 2 pack, punisher has Vulcan arms and legs, so I’m assuming it’s an updated Vulcan torso as well!
Nice review as always, can't wait to get him. Wish we had gotten a new Bagley style head and pinless arms/legs. Guess that means we can fully expect another new Venom in a few years. Having bought the last two Venoms, my biggest wants were the torso twist + butterflies. Glad we're finally getting that.

The veiny pee pee arms weird me out me a little too… Would love a redo at omega red himself, though I wonder if they could/would do a dedicated torso with a cyclops/cable style set up for the straps? i hear ya for th3 neck limit for dumbell styled once i took a page from the retro spidey and used a xacto knifr to cut a lil notch so my movie venom can hunch over but still look forward
At the end where you have black costume Spider-Man and Deadpool pose with Venom. You should have had black costume spider-man and venom looking at each other with the side eyes because they have beef. 😄😄😄 Greatness as always sir, keep doing what you do and I'll definitely keep watching.
Honestly, I was on the fence about this one. The Spiderman Retro figures are the only ones I keep Mint On Card, so I was definitely in for one, but wasn’t sure if I really needed a second one to open. I’ve been a huge Venom fan since I was a kid, so I’m glad to see this one turned out decently well. The King in Black Venom is probably going to remain my definitive Venom on my shelf, but this video makes me look forward to getting this version in hand.

I painted the spider onto my movie Venom. So far that has held me over, but this one is tempting. If I have the money and see this in the wild I'm picking it up.
Even tho i already have the Deluxe Monster Venom & Venom from the Knull 2 Pack..i still pre-ordered Walmart Exclusive Venom the other day..i believe its the most CLASSIC style Venom out there.. I played with the real retro venom over 30 years ago. He had fixed arms and his hands were flat out like a zombie but he was big like early venom comics. I played with him until his paint wore off
I do wish they would've gone with smooth forearms though for a nice classic look - I supposed they'll do another version later on with that being changed.
Leave it to J to provide all the details we need when it comes to figures. This Venom looks amazing! Definitely an upgrade from the 3 Pack Venom. Hell, the more durable white paint is enough reason for me to buy this. I was always hesitant to mess with the 3 Pack one because of potential paint chipping. The torso on this Venom also seems to have a larger spider/dragon symbol on the chest, which is especially better on the back. I believe there is more chest to back ratio on this buck, too, since the Omega Red mould was a little slim in that regard. My only issues with this figure is that the head seems too high up on the body, and the arms may be a tad bit too long. Something about this new torso seems to make this more apparent. Still, that stuff won't really matter when Venom's not in a vanilla pose. Overall, incredible! ^^
Yeah, he addressed EVERYTHING in this review. From the plastic, the paint, the range comparison (laughably disappointing) It's wild. So much passion put into his reviews.

He lookin good, and if I see him at ol Wally world I'll probably pick him up...My personal definitive Venom right now is that Deluxe "Monster Venom" repaint. I just love the exaggerated size when compared to the "Pizza Spidey" Buck.
the double ball joint at the neck SHOULD be better than a hinge but hasbro just can't make those things properly, it is better once you mod a bit or 3D print a new joint that sits higher, so far in size this might be my venom to go but damn there's no walmarts in Chile so I'll have to pay almost import prices to get this guy
2:39 They did with the new Punisher body. We need a new Black Panther in that Punisher body. Also, a classic Wolverine (tiger stripe & brown suit), Nightcrawler and classic Captain America need a this kind of torso articulation.
I hope Hasbro gives us a more classic-style tongue head (maybe with slime?) when they inevitably rerelease this figure again This tongue head is a bit too modern for my liking

I love the new McFarlane head but if I want to use a venom head with the tongue sticking out, I go for the one that came in the Knull two pack.
Getting him in Mexico was tough but the battle was won lol I like how he feels, though it came with a bit of paint chipping on the insignia
