I considered the 72 and chose the digital instead . Just a little larger and with just enough room for an additional lens or two , depending on the set up . Light and equally flexible . Got mine in green for my birthday recently . I had my first Billingham back in the late 70’s early 80’s and took it half way round the world. That carried five cameras and much more. These days I like to keep it light and stylish , so naturally it had to be a Billingham . Jimmy, this may be an old post, but the message remains true today. If you want a bag that will grow with your photography and adapt to the changes you make, Billingham will meet those demands . If you want a repair to an old favourite then Billingham can do that too. So, what is there not to like ? Great post Jimmy.
Aww thanks Carmen! What you say about Billingham is so true, I have so many stories to tell about my Billingham bags, each one has something as they've been to places with me. I may be more than just a bag user (a collector) but I just love the way they are constructed and how it grows with you!
I am struggling with the shoulder pad. How do you manage to fit two straps through the right buckle? See 3:23. I have the SP10 shoulder pad and I can only fit one strap. Please help!
I have a contax ii with etc, but it will only accommodate a collapsible 50 mm lens. This looks like it would be good for the contax with a slightly later Jupiter 12 35mm or voightlander 25mm, thx
What's your view about the colour? I'm undecided about this Burgandy or Sage for the Billingham Hadley One. What do you think suits that bag best . Thanks
I like Sage personally, or Khaki. Burgundy is very sharp, if you like to 'stand out' hehe.. I do like it yet, I can't wear it while doing street photography!
Thanks mate for watching. The double flaps is for safety and protection purposes really, I can understand your frustration, and I sometimes think that way too but that thick padding is a must once the bag is closed and you can literally throw the bag around and the camera inside will still survive 😎. But from the convenience point of view, totally agreed.
if it was brown with some red accents I'd be interested but that's too much for my personal taste. It just would be too much to go with my red shoes, red belt and red hat.... ;-P
Well, first thanks for watching! I don't think this is a copy at all. ONA Bond Street is actually bigger, by at least 30% since it can accommodate two additional small primes. It's always a chicken and egg if you are thinking this type of styles, Billingham actually released the Hadley Digital a few years before the Bond Street :) This 72 is an evolution from Hadley Digital and smaller with added leather and removable straps.
I am thinking about this bag or the stowaway nowadays. I am using a Leica Q3

thx for the review have ordered one for my Q
What's your opinion on the belt loop? It seems that it could be a bit higher, as the bag looks top heavy on your belt.
Halo... I wonder if SP40 Pad cab be used for this 72 bag?

I wonder if it would fit a Sony A7III with a 24-104mm F4 lens, with the lens looking down of course.
No
Good video. Where in London did you shoot it? Always on the look out for good waterside locations...
Thanks Marcin! This is Angel, 10 mins walk from the station.
Great, appreciate it!
My only problem with the 72 is the double flaps one has to open in order to access the camera.

Haha, I do like bright colours!! Thanks Mavfan1 for watching anyway!! I do have bright red shoes and belt, just no red hat :D
Copy ONA The Bond Street bag

Waffle on and on and on without adding any value.
