I am constantly amazed at bag reviews where they don't actually show the bag loaded with equipment. You have done a good job here demonstrating this with both mirrorless and DSLR
Exactly the video I was looking for, as a diehard Billingham Hadley fan for a long time. I'm tempted to size down for a trip but I'm still rocking my 6D, 24-105 (shorter than the 24-70!) and a 70-200 f4 (shorter than your 2.8!). This looks like it will just fit my setup..
Yeah, well, I have a Photo Hadley (medium) circa 1993. It's like the current medium Hadley pro without the top handle strap. This bag has seen a Contax System, a Sony DSLR system and now Sony Mirrorless. It's still great, especially after I got new liners for it about 10 years ago. The problem with the current Medium Hadley Pro is the highly unpopular top handle strap. They got rid of it for the small and the large, but it's still there on the medium. You practically NEVER use that top handle because it is a terrible idea to lug your bag with it and risk dumping its expensive contents because you forgot to latch the front straps. Also, because holding it that way and dragging the should straps around is a recipe to trip yourself.
Very helpful video, thank you! I always prefer smaller bags. I'm leaning towards the small pro, but is there any chance that it could fit both my Canon R5 with the RF 24-70mm f2.8L, as well as the RF 70-200mm f2.8L lens? Or is that hoping for too much?
I have the R5 and the 15-35mm which is similar. Yes it will fit. The eye piece sticks out just a few mm but cover can go over it no problem without any bulging
@@stefanusadrian8398 not sure how to post a pic in the comments but if u can send me ur email or instagram handle i can send it there! I don't know aobut the hadley digital sorry, I don't have it! But check the specs to see if it's the same as the Small Pro (in terms of height). If it's the same it should fit

thanks! This video is a bit dated, but my more recent videos are better!~

If I want a small Billingham bag just to fit a pro-sized DSLR, which case do I get? The AVEA-8?
hey desi whats the size of that 70-200? im trying to find out if i can fit a sony 70-200 gm ii on the haldley small. thank you
hey! i have the sony 70-200mm gm ii, it will NOT fit in the small. It sticks out about 1.5"
thank you very much. This comparison I was looking for
Excellent comparison. How does Hadley small compare to S3 or S4? I want it more for spare lens/flash/filter than 5d4
great comparison Desy! One question would the Hadley pro small fit an 11" iPad pro?
good question! unfortunately i dont have teh ipad 11 to test it out with....sorry!
I can fit my 11" Galaxy Tab S7 with its keyboard cover in the Small Pro- I don't see why a 11" iPad pro wouldn't fit.
Do you think I would be able to fit a TLR and an Olympus Pen F (MFT) or a Polaroid SX70 and an Olympus Pen f in the Small Pro?
I'm pretty sure that should fit, but unfortunately I don't have any of those to truly test them out though!
would small pro fit canon R6 and rf 24-70mm f2.8? The body is smaller than 5d but the lens is around 1.5cm longer than ef 24-70mm f2.8
I have the R5 and the 15-35mm which is similar. Yes it will fit. The eye piece sticks out just a few mm but cover can go over it no problem without any bulging
@@DesmondCheng is there any chance you could post pic about it? Would it fit to hadley digital?

Thanks - super helpful - exactly what I was looking for.
no problem! glad it was helpful =)
Hey Desy! Thanks for the vid. Wondering if the small will fit a 13" macbook?
Thanks! Concise and clean.
thanks!
Thanks for the video, what size ipad was that?
Just the standard size
Great review! Thanks!!
thanks!
I find it kinda dumb the shoulder strap isn't included
what color was yours?
Sage and Chocolate!
3:44 weird conclusion imo. A large Billingham has a ton of advantages over a backpack. It just depends on needs and preferences.
=)
Because the weight becomes unbearable with so much gear.
Thanks for the video. Very informative.
anytime!
Thank you
