Such a pretty design...thank you for sharing with us all! I did make a rather time consuming error in Row 7. I decided to mention it here in the event someone else does the same. I worked Row 7 (Pink flowers) through Row 6 (white in video) AND into Row 5 (Green color). It became apparent very quickly in trying to commence Row 8 that I should have only worked the "flowers" yarn Row 7 into the Row 5 (green ONLY), leaving Row 6 free-falling (white) on the reverse/back side, which is essential to working Row 8. My description is probably clear as mud, but obviously I'm somewhat challenged...even with a video providing step-by-step instructions! hahaha
Thank you it is a real sweet pattern. I just bought green, pink and white yarn and half way through my first granny square i didnt liked my new project. Your tutorial is easy to follow for non native speakers. Thank you Thank you and have a blessed day😊💕🧶
This pattern was a little bit of a challenge for me as a beginner crocheter bcuz I used it to make an Easter basket so I didn't turn my work which I quickly realized I had to cut off my yarn but I also needed to be sure to work on the same side as you explained . Thank you for your easy to follow instructions. My basket isn't finished yet but I know it's going to be amazing.

Love the pattern. Thank you for just demonstrating the pattern. There are too many videos where each stitch is demonstrated. Most people dont need to know how to do a slip stitch, double crochet or foundation row. And if they do there are hundreds of videos for that. Thanks for not wasting my time. Cant wait to try this!
I watched this video and looked at alot of your thumbnails and you take crochet to a whole new level. Your work reminds me of alot of stuff like my late grandma worked. She was awesome. Haven't seen any work quite as good as hers was but you're pretty close and I haven't said that to anyone. Don't get me wrong and I'm not biased in any way everyone I'm subbed to are excellent crochet artist but she was exceptional. Don’t know if someone already mentioned this, but in Row 8 on your printed Ravelry pattern, it says to make 2 “SC” in the chain 3 sp from Row 6. Here, in the video, you are saying to make 2 HDC in the chain 3 space.

Isn't it a multiple of 3 plus 2??? The repeating pattern with the green yarn is 3 stitches (1 for the V-stitch and 2 skipped =3). You start with 1 single crochet, skip 1 (=2), then start the repeating pattern and end with a V-stitch, skip 1, then 1 single crochet (=3). Where am I thinking wrong? I started back from the beginning with a chain of multiples of 3 plus 2 and now it adds up. Help me please. 😅
@@DebiDearest Yes, but you said it was multiples of 3 plus 3 but then you would have one stitch left. 3 + 3 would mean 33 stitches but you only need 32 for the green row, don't you?
I haven’t looked at this pattern in years I’d have to review. Did I miss a stitch? I am sure there’s suppose to be a stitch at the beg and end of the rows for the foundation 🤔
Thank you for sharing this pattern. I am making blankets for our local SPCA and am constantly looking for different ideas. I chose this pattern thinking it might comfort and sooth the fears of cats being brought to the shelter. And in the hope that maybe, just maybe, when people come and see the cats, they might view them as household pets in need of a forever home. People need to spay and neuter their animals instead of simply handing them over to the SPCA and forget about the overpopulation they have created. Thank you again COCO for your generosity. This is so precious. I know this has been around awhile I haven't worked this one and I have county Fair projects on my mind. I may have to make this for the Fair. I like to look for different patterns or something they might not have seen. Love it! Already thinking of colors.
I’m trying to work this stitch into my round piece of work. I haven’t attempted but I’m pondering whether or not I will need to add any chains between to account for the roundness. I’m a beginner but I feel like I’m catching on fairly quick.
You won’t really know until you try. When you are working them you want to make sure they don’t pucker or the work won’t lay flat, if it’s puckering you would need an extra stitch.

The count is appears to be off on this pattern. How can it be a multiply of 3 plus 3? If you wind up with 32 single crochets are you actually chaining 33 (which is a multiple of 3) plus 3 which is ( 36 chains stitches) are you then starting in the 4th chain from the hook? I'm lousy at math. How much of each yarn would you suggest for a lapghan?
no idea. lol maybe 4-6 of the white, 2-3 pink and a green of something like caron simply soft. depending on how much white you have between rows of flowers..
Thanks! That gives me something to go on. :)
No matter how much I do I have more and more flowers than I started with. I love the pattern though.
Dawn Szacik sounds like you are possibly increasing stitches when you turn.
Your intro is so cute and hilarious!

I'm looking for inspiration to enter in the Knitting/Crochet category of my State Gair competition. It is beautiful and possibility of me making for the competition.
