The pattern here is the fact that this man always knew he didn’t wanna work for anyone and that in itself is a win. Most people don’t determine that till later in life when they no longer have the energy.

he failed several times, not everyone is cut out to be self employed, there is peace of mind for being an employee... the misconception is when you are self employed you are not working for anyone... false! you are working for your customers, at very long hours, no life really, die from stress leaving the money to be spent by the living.... just saying!

I baked cakes and cookies when I was in school. It was a spectacular success but got in the way of my academics. My cgpa dropped and I had to choose either school or money. I chose school. Immediately after uni, I had to go to law school and we weren't allowed to cook. Soon after that. I got pregnant and hated the smell of all pastries. But baking is my love. My new business is my TH-cam channel that I am trying to grow. I take it seriously and I love the journey.

Thank you very much Tayo for making this video and for sharing it with us, I highly appreciate that.
I'm a Congolese entrepreneur from the DRC🇨🇩 and I have been living in Johannesburg since 2016. In 2018, I founded a graphic design company which failed few months later. I decided to stop everything in order to reflect and analyze what I did wrong so here are few things that I have learned :
1️⃣ Make sure you know yourself very well (your strengths, weaknesses and passion), always surround yourself with people who are strong in areas where you are not. Never try to do the work yourself.
2️⃣ Always prepare yourself, if you can afford a mentor, or take online courses or reading books 📚, please do that in order to learn what you don't before you start your business or company.
3️⃣ Once you are ready, plan first and do the market research before launching. Don't ever start not only a business or a company without planning, literally anything in your personal life.
If you don't prepare yourself very well and you don't plan, your chance of reaching your goals and succeeding will be very low. Eventually you will fail.
    📙 Book recommendation :
" Before you quit your job : 10 real-life lessons every entrepreneur should know about building a multimillion - dollar 💵 Business" - by Robert T. Kiyosaki.

Thank you Tayo for sharing your business failures. Everyone has a story and you shared yours. In 2017, I started a food business in the building where OSG Media was after realizing the need for it, after a year and a half, I stopped. Reasons: people were owing. I got a chef, a sales person, an accounts manager and all I did was to supervise from the house. I stopped the business because it was not profitable. Now, I'm into plant-based food services. It is slow at the moment.

Dont give up on your e-commerce. It's just hasn't been the timing for Nigeria yet for e-commerce, but it will change. Be ready

“Ohh you need to sell Eba” 😂 that got me rolling. We all live and learn and can only improve with the lessons we learn. Great video as always.

Nice Video . One thing someone told me about business in Nigeria is find your customers first make sure you have customers for your business before you start putting money into a business.

To be honest everyone should do this regardless of the country they reside in. To many people spend a lot on their business when they don't even have any customers nor know if there is a big enough market.

See me being afraid to fail in one business😂. Youre a motivation bro. Its okay to fail as long we learn from the mistakes.
