- We are finally ready to get the chickens out onto pasture in their new John Suscovich chicken tractor. We decided to make some changes and improvements to the design, as well as give you a look at how we assembled it, if you are thinking of building one of your own.
Pastured poultry is the best way to raise chickens for food, whether you are growing a more common meat breed like a Cornish Cross, or a modern hybrid like the Red Ranger or Freedom Ranger. Getting your birds onto pasture where they can scratch around and eat natural foods like grass and bugs is the right thing to do!
