I was able to make it to Delassandro's twice this year for my first ever original Philly Cheesesteak! Triple Cheese with fried onions and pepper relish, Amazing! Cant wait come back and try another one!
I’m not from Philly , I live in Georgia but my papaw use to make both scrapple and head cheese. They’re both similar but at the same time different. He would make basically Philly cheese style sandwiches out of both of them and not add any Philly style steak just the pan fried scrapple and head cheese. He would then caramelize onions and sautéed peppers. His sandwich was especially unique combining provolone on the bottom of the sandwich along with a little of the caramelized onions and sautéed peppers, he would then toast this under a broiler melting that bottom layer of cheese. Then he’d add his pan fried scrapple and head cheese, on top of that a second layer of the onions and peppers then 3 heaping ladles of cheese whiz. He would always serve these huge cut steak fries that were seasoned with his own homemade bbq rub. My God it was good!

Try Buffalo bills bbq in sicklerville New Jersey. Great wings. Recommend the garlic Parmesan buffalo flavor. And you get all flats if you want. They also serve cheesesteaks and hoagies.

They have the worst steak plentiful with the meat but lacking salt and flavor better choice is John’s roast pork or Jim’s
