A young man who dresses head to toe in pastel pink kawaii style is hoping to inspire others to express themselves through fashion. Jake, from Montreal, Canada, has been inspired by Japanese Harajuku fashion for the last five years and has never felt more confident. Jake told Truly: “Dressing a certain way doesn’t compromise your masculinity, it’s fun to be colourful!” Jake insists it’s “really difficult to be in a bad mood when dressed head to toe in pink” and hopes others will find the confidence to express themselves through other styles too.

He is so adorable ;) I have never seen a man dress like this, but I think it's great that he is so comfortable being who he is and seems to be really having fun. He would be so much fun to go shopping with and dress up with

All of our ideas about masculine and feminine colours and clothing items are completely made up. Did you know the idea of pink and blue came from an American department store? The guy designed all blue for girls and all pink for boys. People who shopped switched it around to buy pink for girls and blue for boys. Pink was for boys. Colours are not gendered. This whole idea was a sales promotion.
Men have worn "skirts" and "dresses" throughout history, they're called different things, but the shape is for men. Even pantyhose are standard winter uniform for the Scottish military branches, it's too cold in bare legs and kilts. They wear pantyhose to stay warm.
Heels were invented for men. Men have always worn makeup like women. In many cultures, they wore the exact same makeup as women, like in Egypt. Back to the heels, men in Europe of that time wore elaborate wigs of long hair as well.
Little boys were dressed in frocks like girls until they were breeched. Breeching was a rite of passage. Wearing pants wasn't something anyone did with babies. They all wore frocks.
Anyway, gendering things is stupid and pretending like "that's how it is" is a lie because these things have only been this way for roughly a century. In this society alone. So when we're talking about humanity, this stuff is meaningless, nothing. Don't worry about what a few humans who lived near you at the same time have to say about your gender. It's your gender. They don't get a say in how you identify or how you express it. Besides, the odds are, they're really stupid anyway. Like taking a slice out of the population and examining it will always disappoint. So meh. Who cares what they think lol.
I already know that the blue was for girls and the pink for boys, and I'm just saying, or letting you know, or no offense, and I was curious about colors, and then I searched it up, and found a interesting thing about the colors, and I'm just saying, or no offense, or letting you know.

It may be made up but you still can't dispute that within the culture it's a very feminine style. Things will always have to be filtered through a cultural lens. Just because it shifts doesn't mean it would be basically absurd to call this person "manly" lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that

I hope that one day you are able to be and accept who you truly are! 💗 My nephew recently came out as non binary and has finally found his true self and i could not be more happy for them. Its a beautiful thing when one can truly be themselves.

Yep. Colors don’t have a gender. In Victorian times it was reverse. Boys would be dressed in pink it was seen as a boy color and girls in blue. Also lots of photos of boy babies and toddlers in dresses. And Medieval times men wore dresses too. Clothes have no gender. Wear whatever you want.

He's very fortunate to have such financially generous parents. You can't do this style on the cheap, not on the scale most of these TH-cam/Insta kids do it on. The cheap Chinese knock offs worn with very few accessories look awful. The real deal looks wonderful, I LOVE it. Gorgeous.

Why would you call a person an "it"? You could literally have just said "I thought he was a girl".
It's possible that 1 or 2 are trans, or Jake could be androgynous in appearance but I also thought they were a girl. The Samuel was definitely born a woman. Either way I admire that they are all being their most authentic self.

Start by wearing things you like. Make a Pinterest board and add fashion you like. Or research different fashion styles for inspiration. Once you know what you like you can start buying clothes and accessories to wear for your look. Thrift shops are great. There’s even online ones with lots of different styles. Add a few accessories and a makeup look to match if you want and you got a outfit
