WHY would Scott Stricklan still have a job after failing on like MULTIPLE coaches. The SEC is a tough conference, and if they fail again with this next coach, he’s GONE. He should be GONE. This program is too big of program to struggle like this

Mullen suggested Kiffin when he got fired. Kinda seems like he'd be a better AD than Stricklin.
Coz no one in the management cares . Plain and simple man. They are OK to stink but the fans suffer.
They have to ditch Strickland. If they go with him again it's on their hands

@@wilsonryan2011 Not getting Kiffin would indicate either he didn't want the job, or they didn't want to hire him. Either of which are a very troublesome sign for the program.

@@desertdog1125 This hire is likely a pivotal one for the program. Even if Gruden can redeem himself off the field, he is barely above. 500. He owes the ring he has in large part to Monte Kiffin's defense. And funnily enough Monte Kiffin's son is who should be hired.
Napier is cooked. I'm from central Fl and this dude is pretty universally despised.
Zach Aldridge is a great example of Gator Nation and our current mood.
Scott Stricklin needs to be FIRED asap before we even hire a good Coach…

Urban or Gruden?
Scott Strickland made one very poor decision- firing Jim Mcelwain. If Strickland had just let Mcelwain build the team for a little bit longer than I wouldn't be an advocate for getting rid of him. I don't necessarily think that Napier is going to turn it around, but I would only fire him if you could land Jon Gruden or Lane Kiffin. There isn't much talent in the coaching pool right now so most likely makes sense to let Napier's contract run out before showing him the door.

Honestly as a Gator fan I'd rather they fire Stricklin Today and keep Napier until the end of the season!!!!!
Go after kiffin if that fails go with gruden

I cannot imagine LK taking the FL job. Of course anything's possible. But he's got something pretty good at OM right now. Not only does he make excellent money (with another raise almost certainly coming soon), but admin and the boosters give him free reign to run the program (and life) as he sees fit. He likes Oxford, and almost his entire family is now there. FL does have better long term potential, but 3 HCs in 9 years is a bad look and brings with it a pressure that I just don't think Lane wants. But we'll see.
