I've just recently seen some of the amazing pro male belly dancers on TH-cam: sexy, amazing artists! I had wondered culturally where such a thing had come from: this video sort of tells me that it is Turkish-Albanian. Really it is very cool. I like it!
These kind of dancers are called Köçek in Turkish. And köçek aren't belly dancer. This dance is the typical Central- & Western Anatolian dance. What is (poorly) called "Belly dance" in the Western World is actually called Raks Sharki ("Oriental Dance") in Arabic, and this video does not really look like Raks Sharki, and it is not.

The abdominal moves are most likely of North African origin as Algeria was a part of the Ottoman Empire and there's an Algerian dance called Choui that emphasizes abdominal articulations the same way.
