That spot is a Christmas miracle. I ordered my first vevor heater. Well replace tank straight off. I ordered real 1/8 " x 5/16 fuel line $28 for peace of mind. I might use washable metal/double filter. Oh yes, selling everthing that doesn't fit in my 2015 t and c minivan. And much more. Replaced almost everything. Building electrical now. Dc to dc ,ecoflow, 100ah self heating, Kitchen and bed etc after. Have a retired brother doing his magic on my new home. 4k trip nack to Vancouver....
Nice job I think it is better fitting the fuel pipe that way. Then if you have to do any work and move it just rotate it clockwise when moving it out. And the extra pipe means you do not have to disconnect the pipe great job.
Mark, Nice tank and install. You could still turn the tank 180degrees around and have the fitting in the far/opposite corner. Then, you can run the plastic tube in a 180degree (vertical) loop from over the top (your fitting would run parallel to the outside wall, "pointing back", instead of perpendicular, "pointing out", as you have it now). That would put it in the most out of the way position. You could even anchor the clear plastic line to the outside wall with a p-clamp so it isn't stressing the rubber connections once you have it in position.
Great video as always mark...said this to you before i tapped into fuel tank as heard about them leaking tanks and didn't want the terrible smell of diesel.
Great set up! I want to buy this tank and line but am in Australia and this eBay seller doesn’t ship here and I can’t send them a message. Do you know the brand name or other details so I can try and source? Thanks.
Hi fella how has your tank lasted I noticed when I looked it up that it is a water tank did the seal last ok when you put diesel or kerosene into it or did the seal perish
Hi Mark would this work with the Hcalory Briefcase Heater you have, with the fuel tank stander pipe you have detailed on this video? A lot of the stand pipes on Ebay say 4kw but the Hcalory is a 5kw.
@@MrMeltedwelliesIt didn't work mate the standpipe is too thin for a 5kw, not enough fuel reaches the system. I upgraded it like yours months ago. Only fired it up a few days back and I got error 01. What fixed it was removing and running the pipe directly into the tank. I now need to get a new standpipe for 5kw which when you look at eBay theres not.many available.

In the manual it says fuel tank should be below the heater level. Is that essential? Or will it eventuallly generate erroe. Odea.
I have 3 heaters and all the fuel tanks are above the heater and no problems hope this helps

Is the cap vented?
yes lets air in but the way its designed no fuel out and no smell works great
@@MrMeltedwellies hi, just wondering if your vented lid is still doing its job of no leaks or smell as ive heard they fail after time ?
You could just blank that (Oops) off and make a new hole where you wanted it! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
true but it works well anyway
