Hey Michael B. Thanks for the kind words brother. It means alot to hv your support. I have 1 week to go till I get home. Cant wait....all summer with NO GAMES or ARCADES or my PINBALLS 😡 well Im coming home soon. Cant wait to see ya on SUPER GAMEROOM DUDES TMRW 😉👊
I would love to try this new table out,but the pinball FX software is having issues on my system. It says I have to be connected to the internet. My other tables work fine. But I can't get any new tables. It a bummer as I am a startrek fan
After having such high expectations, I'm a bit disappointed with this sadly. There seems to be an issue with the sound, at the start of a game (and maybe if only choosing "light lock"), it sounds like a badly stretched 80's tape. Other sounds seem to be louder than they should be, the pop-bumpers in particular. There also seems to be some slight lag making it harder than it should be. The Pinball Arcade version wasn't this difficult. In case it's relevant, this is on a OneX. I'd prefer they brought this to PinballFX3, it seems to perform better.
Michael B. Yeah, this is a fantastic table! It's actually my second favorite Star Trek pinball machine, if you ever get a chance, you need to play Data East's Star Trek 25th Anniversary machine. The backbox will WOW you as it has an effect where the crew is beamed (and disappears and reappears on the backbox). Such a cool effect! And the gameplay... SECOND TO NONE :) But, Star Trek The Next Generation is one of my favorite pinballs, no doubt. Luckily, I've been able to play it (and still can) on Farsight's Pinball Arcade. Unfortunately for me, the new Pinball FX has been quite laggy (The Steam Version) and I have one heck of a beefy PC, so it's not my hardware. I just can't invest any money in the new PC Pinball FX until they get everything working correctly. But what's also fantastic, is with the Team Encoder Mod, I have this beauty playing on my Attack From Mars Arcade1Up! Glad you're having a bunch of fun with this Michael! Pinball forever! vgv
I want this so bad!!! I have not set up my Legends Pinball yet for FX. I need to find the right PC. I have the VIBS board, so good to go. This TNG table though.....might make me step up my efforts! Anybody have a link to a good PC? Preferably pre-built? I can do it myself, I'm just lazy. Great video Mike!
Looks like I'll be buying it on Xbox. I wasnt a big pinball fan as a kid, but this is one pinball game I got to play as a teenager. I am a fan of Star Trek and watched all of the Next Generation. I can't wait to see if I still like this as much as when I was a kid. Thanks for the video!
@@MichaelBtheGameGenie Just started playing and it is awesome. The actual music and voice actors from the show sound great. There are lots of missions to do and you can even rank up in your Starfleet career by doing missions. The table itself looks like the real one. The lighting looks amazing with ray tracing and hdr turned on.
Just got over 1 billion on it on the brilliant pinswitch mini, good enough for rank 11. This table is pretty good considering I'm not a fan of Star Trek. Go for the zorg multiball, best way to get it going is lite lock on launch ball mode.
Can't afford the ALP or ALP 4kP, yet, if ever. Anyone wanna contribute to the delinquency of a gaming adult? LOL Seriously, I do have a DIY table from Gameroomsolutions, which I'm running a PC on, and I do have Pinball FX 3 on it. I would like to download this table for it. Looks amazing1 I remember playing this table in real life, at a Kmart, back in the early 90s. I wanted it so bad. It had some cool toys built into it. Thanks for the video. :)
Hey Everyone and Michael B. This is awesome. I use Legends Connect to stream Pinball FX to my ALU and it's a LOT of fun! I agree that the table plays fast though. I wish the bumper spacing were a little closer because it goes in the drink a lot! In any case, this is GREAT table and worth the purchase price for sure!!
ST:TNG Should be great, but it's the poster child for why Zen deserves all the hate lately. If they HAD done this table right they could have won back some players, but the horrible game and bad business practices continue.
Played the real machine extensively in the arcade when it came out & owned a real one. The pinball FX version isn't as good as the old pinball arcade one. Seems like they made this one too steep, need options for the steepness of tables & there's also some tables that had outlane adjustments for posts, usually 2 positions. Tough to get nudge saves on outlanes on the FX version, a real drain monster.
Hi Everybody, Thanks for checking out the video and let me know what you think of Star Trek The Next Generation on Pinball FX
Me again… is pinball fx the machine or the software? If software what is the machine

@@MichaelBtheGameGenie you see BRAY WYATT died? 36yrs old....WTF ❤ATTACK 🙏😥
Looks amazing and is in my top 5 for ones I would ever like to own. Thanks for the vid.
You are welcome brother!
I had played Star Trek: The Next Generation on Pinball FX for my Nintendo Switch and find it extremely ENGAGED! A really fun game!
Yeah this is freakin awesome. I need this haha. Would love to have this on a dedicated table.
I can’t believe I have never played it before. It’s so good
Hey I'm about to buy this. Just finished work. I been looking forward to this one all week.
Nice hope you enjoy it man, im going to kick back with the steam deck and get some runs in tonight
I have all the games for Pinball FX3, I guess I'll have to rip the bandaid and upgrade :) Hopefully we get cabinet support sometime soon :)

Any reason to get this if you already have the vpx version?
Love the borg multi ball. I will be buying this.
I havent gotten multiball yet
@@MichaelBtheGameGenie I believe it’s one of the far right lanes. You have to hit it 3 times .
My old STTNG had a lot of little issues. Never want to own again but this might be a good download. 👍
Awesome! It's about damn time!!!!
Great game, let me know what you think
can you turn off the animations so it's more like the classic one?

You are welcome man, not a machine i was familiar with but I have loved my experience so far and will be on the lookout for the real one in Cleveland

Atgames just announced this 4k cab!!!!
Now with more lag! Their hardware is so slow compared to running on a proper cpu/gpu.

You are welcome, sadly not available on FX 3. Have you tried FX on it yet?
@@MichaelBtheGameGenie Oh, right. I'd forgotten there's a newer version of that. Maybe if my finances permit, next moth, I'll try it. :)

Me too Carl O added to the “to try” list for Cleveland
Try "Masters of the Universe"
I still have to get around to downloading that

The pinball arcade one was horrible. Bad graphics, worse physics. But yeah, "EZ mode" for those who don't get that the real pin is pretty darn hard.
