I can't get enough of this game. The Picard Maneuver is such a gratifying shot to make. It's right up there with the Hole in One shot in No Good Gofers
Thanks for the walk down memory lane mate, this is one of my 2 favourite pinball (guns and Roses other) I have a virtual pinball on order from XGC and this will be the first game played
Awesome man, I do have to say though I was surprised by the lack of cannon shooting but I guess the points are not worth it for you. I love getting in a groove and seeing how many shots/levels I can make in a row. I also like to hit the Alpha ramp with a left backhand in a row until it maxes out (like 10 shots in a row maybe); I havnt done it in a month or 2 so dont recall the amount but it climbs 5M everytime I think, and the light show and knocker going off when its done is really cool. Anyways, massive score man, thanks for making this vid, I learned tons. -Mitch
This final load is very intense with all six balls shooting down at you which means that the people who played this machine barely survived the final frontier, six ball multi ball mode
Is the Romulan Bird of Prey at the top left a custom add-on someone did? This table is being released on Pinball FX soon and I wanted to learn about it first. Your video was very informative. Thank you for taking the time to record this and share it. I really appreciate all of the insights.
Very nice tutorial-thorough and enjoyable to watch. Curious though; why not emphasize the Borg multiball more? In my experience, it's an easy shot to master, and is a great way to rack up huge points quickly. If you can manage one Borg multiball and one or two missions per ball, you can generally get to the Final Frontier and multiple multiballs along the way. Personal record for me is 26 billion (nothing exceptional, I know, but not too too bad either). Appreciate that you're so good at hitting that far left warp loop, however! I find that one super difficult. You've inspired me to get better at it ;)
I just got the 4th highest score on this last night at around 1.8bil, which I know isn't that great. That right side drain KILLS me. Had a solid Final Frontier though, which was all kinds of crazy fun.
Final frontier is a six ball multiple. Luckily, Star Trek the next generation valley Williams pinball actually comes equipped with an automatic plunger so the main part of the challenge is manually hitting, suck some of the balls, or maybe all six of them to certain targets while trying to stay alive. However, since you can’t get some of the balls back down, multi ball, final frontier does payoff with an excellent light and sound show, and a fun and challenging, multi ball frenzy, making the trip to get their worth every flip.
Can you get much more points when you hit all one of the six balls during the final frontier multi ball so you get more points you get 1 billion points and you get 5 million points and you get 7 billion points you get much more billions amount of points in a keeps going until you drain everything making everything reset back to normal
Repeatedly shooting the same loop over and over and deliberately timing out 40-second modes? That's the jankiest metagame I've ever seen on a pinball table. Even Black Knight 2000 is less weird.
I've had this Pinball for 10 years I never knew about the poker game. Great tutorial. Thanks Mike
This is my favorite table of all time. I've always had trouble hitting the Picard Maneuver side ramp shot reliably though.

15:05 🤔 hidden poker game?! I Always learn something new thanks to Papa and Bowen.
Doorbell ringing at 2:48 made me run downstairs. :D Thanks for all your tutorials Bowen, these are great!

Just was able to get one in fantastic shape. :)
Thank you for another awesome guide. So glad Zen Studios made this one avalible in Pinball FX. Pinball4everyone
15:54 - Multiball was futile...
If he had propelled the ball on the proper trajectory, he would have been rewarded!
@Patrick Schmalstig hahahahahahah you all! :D Quite funny! :D I read with the proper voices :D

Nice explanation! Love this table.

looks like there's a dead column of pixels on the DMD. (1/3 over from the left side)
By 1:45 two balls have been lost -- about right for ST:TNG -- great pin, but bring two rolls of quarters.
freaking right side drain kills me..
Those Ball launchers should have been video modes instead or they should have added pop up drop targets for them to hit.

Bowen makes the absolute impossible seem very achievable
This is the best camera angle. I wish u did this angle for all ur vids
agreed
It's even better when your monitor is in portrait mode. :)
Lane extension needed the designer Ritchie said so himself 😢😢😢
Also, explode millions forever.

It’s 79p on Psn store :) really enjoying it.
i play that in 1998. in novi sad (yugoslavia)
Computer, what happened?
Also, loop turbo combo...
And; "Computer, what happened?"
Such a poor way to end a game but that's pinball! At least the game mocked you for it... ;)
The "Computer, what happened?" was added in in post production of this video, sadly.
Fun fun fun!!
Best combo in pinball? It's not DEVASTATING!
KICK BUTT!
DER DER.
DER, DER-DER-DER-DER, etc
