What happens if you use adhesive that is not made for arrows

I bought some brand new arrows and the inserts are seemingly slightly bigger than the opening in the arrow. Watching this video looks like the inserts should just slide in. The ones that came with these arrows won't go in dry even a little bit. I was wondering if the glue would lubricate them enough to go in but I'm pretty sure I'd have to wrench on them a lot to get them in

I am waiting for my order which is an affordable arrow shaft from china..it is a small diameter shaft like x10..but I'm not sure if the arrow nock or point used for X10 (* except tungsten point) is suitable or fits for a shaft from china. friend of mine once bought a small diameter shaft like that, but the point from easton, beiter nock does not match the size of the shaft ..

If you don't know how to install these hit inserts. Do not go off of this video. This video SUCKS. Here are your steps.
- Cut Arrow
- Square End of Shaft
- Lightly use champher stone
- Clean out inside of shaft with some type of alcohol(91% Isopropyl alcohol works good)
- Mix 2 part epoxy
- Remove nocks(not needed for standard hit. But it doesn't hurt
- Install Insert. But right before Insert is in the shaft wipe off excess glue.
- Let dry HORIZONTALLY for 24 hours

Is the main difference you're suggesting wiping any excess glue off before pushing in or the use of alcohol for cleaning the inside of the shaft?
