Ryan: "the interview that made me want to quit acting" 😅😅😅
Did he say that?
@@SistoActivitatemAtmno😂
@SistoActivitatemAtm No, it's a joke referencing Kjersti's title for an old Blake Lively interview she posted.
LOL
That's very funny
I love that you are so transparent about your more awkward moments. Cringing at ourselves is such a universal experience but not everyone has to rewatch their awkward social interactions. Actually spotlighting these moments the way you do is so brave, and I respect you for this 😂
Thank you so much!
Just him smiling and asking questions back to you was worth the awkwardness 😂
Girl, I don't blame you. You were shooting your shot lol
Came here to say this!!
I love how your channel has grown out of something so uncomfortable! You deserve the best life has to offer! Congrats, Girl! You truly have grace! What a lovely person you are!
Thank you so much.
Ryan is kind of flirting with you, he looks at you in such a sweet way. And he asks you questions.
I’m 32 & infertile. My heart broke with yours watching _that_ interview. But, it brought me to your channel. Now my heart laughs, cringes, gets passionate, & reflects alongside yours.
There’s such a down to earth, intimate quality to your videos. It’s as though we’re sitting with the sister we never had, applying face-masks & listening as she reads her teenage diaries out aloud.
You’ve made a career & life from interviewing others- that’s your talent. But your interviews with yourself? That’s your gift, and legacy.
I just watched your SATC video, & I can see its influence in your videos & style.
You have allowed us to join you as you go back through your catalogue of ‘columns’ i.e interviews, like an old diary. You take us with you to visit Kjersti at that time in her life…all told from the growth and wisdom of present day Kjersti.
Everyone bangs on about being authentic & transparent…you just _are_ , effortlessly.
At 32 I feel lost, like I have no idea what I’m doing. I feel I’m just bumbling through life, clueless, like an old blind dog bouncing off the walls.
Each video of yours is a reminder to me that _none_ of us know what we’re doing- some of us are just better at hiding it than others.
I’m reminded that we can only do our best, with what we have at the time.
What a beautiful gift you have offered to us.
From the couch, with facemasks & snorting laughter, with love, awkwardness…and gratitude ❤️
Your comment reminds me of 30 yrs ago. I was early 30’s & felt my life wasn’t what it was supposed to be. I’d not married or even dated much & no kids even though I didn’t want any but I was as lonely & wanted a connection. I didn’t have a home yet & just not where I thought I’d be or should be. In my 40’s it all came together & life was good. Then, being life, changes, but now I was ready. You will be too
@@sheilahenry7279 can you explain? Did you get pregnant in your 40s or what do you mean coming together and you were ready?
Your comment made all my videos worth it. I think this is the most wonderful feedback I have gotten my entire career. Thank you so much!! And you know what, I was 33 when I moved to NYC and started a whole new life. I am still confused and feel lost and don't know what do to with my life most of the time, but it's a part of the journey. And life without children can be pretty amazing. Me and my boyfriend love the freedom it has given us. So hang in there, and enjoy the face masks and take one day at the time and it will all make sense in the end. Thank you for sharing. Sending lots of love!
Love your answer!
This is so well articulated, thank you for putting into words EXACTLY how I feel about Kjersti's interviews. Like you, I stumbled upon *that* interview first, amidst the BL IEWU backlash, and I'm glad I did, for so many reasons. I struggle with many of the issues you've described so well, as well, as I'm sure do many others among Kjersti's new fan base. Much love, understanding and gratitude! ❤
Hahahaa ..Girl you tried 😂!
Ryan was gracious at least, it wasn’t that horrible ❤
When Ryan Gosling was with Harrison Ford for the BR 2049 interviews they both were very lighthearted and making jokes with eachother so it was cool to see Harrison Ford finally get along that well with another actor lol
There’s an interview with Alison Hammond from this Morning (Uk show) and it’s really funny.
The world needs more people like this. The illusions people have created around themselves in Hollywood and social media have become unbearable. Insulting in fact.
I love that you are not shy to show 'bad' interviews you did. i think they are great it shows that we all start somewhere to get better each day
Thank you, and yes - that's what I am hoping to show.
The way you weaved the differing timelines and put together this beautiful story rounding with how it positively affected your life is amazing.
You were adorable in that interview, and if Ryan wasn't swept away enough to drop down on one knee and propose immediately, it's his loss. ❤
If I had a dollar for every time I've unsuccessfully flirted with someone...😊
Same 😂
Ha ha
Lmaoooo relatable
I've noticed how you were supportive of Johnny around the trial and during his pariah years. Thank you for those videos!
Thanks for giving us a peak into how those interviews with celebs often go down. I've always wondered, like how long the interviews are, who the nice ones are, why we dont see all interviews (turns out some are thrown out by celebs), who the not nice are, what happens between interviews, etc. So thanks, Kjersti.
*peek
So happy to hear that. Thank you!
Congratulations on 100K. Bet 200K is coming fast.
Aw, thank you
I think Ryan’s energy is awkward. I’ve noticed it before. I think if he didn’t agree with your question he could have elaborated more - I don’t agree that I’m vulnerable in roles but definitely some … more polite
He has said several times that he is very uncomfortable with the attention he gets. You can see it in his interviews all the time.
lol OMG - poor you! At the end of the day it's a lesson and honestly - what's not to love about Ryan Gosling?!
ha ha so true
I actually think Ryan Gosling was flirting with you as well! You looked stunning during that interview and your questions were certainly not typical! I think you caught him off guard - he seemed fidgety and embarrassed - it was quite interesting!
She did looking stunning but I don’t think he was flirting and I actually think he was uncomfortable with the questions. He tried to dodge the romantic questions and they kept coming :) nothing terrible of course. But, oh my, that first audio clip, “maybe we are soulmates”, that sounds like MAJOR flirtation on his part!!!
I think you and your youtube community grew out of compassion, but has now become a really insightful 'show' on the nature of celebrity and all that comes with it. I watch, and learn, something from all of them. And laugh a little at Mr Gosling, romance and sweaters!
Thank you so much for saying that!
You do your job so exceptionally well! You're so professional in your interviews and seem to handle so many different personalities in such a calm, kind, and stoic way.
Props to you 🎉
Thank you so much!
That interview made me smile for some reason 😂
Thank you
These kinds of situations really make us more relatable and it's great to be able to just laugh and cringe about them later on 😂❤ I used to live in Norway btw, great country! (I'm currently living in Finland) Lots of love! ❤
Your NEW CAREER IS BORN!!!
Thank you!!
I have seen a lot of your interviews before your Blake lively moment , the problem I see, is you get personal with them, like you want them to open up and talk about personal matters, some have responded well , I saw Ben Barnes give you back a great attitude, but is cringe and awkward watching a stranger to ask those type of things to actors who sit to talk about their project, is like :.. "so this movie is romantic , are you a romantic in real life. ? Tell me all about you " they don't know you and they might not want to discuss personal stuff.
Actors understand that working in big Hollywood films means giving up some of their personal life for the fame and money. Fame isn’t for everyone, but actors can choose if they want that life. They’re paid well because they’re famous and have to handle the attention. My job is to deliver what the audience wants, and it’s the actors’ job to help sell the movie. It’s a trade-off: they promote the film, and we get interesting stories. Most actors like talking about various topics, and I try to get them to share what they’re comfortable with. If they don’t want to answer, that’s okay.
Are you German?
Ryan Gosling likes to tell stories. His own humor is unique because it’s Canadian style. Self deprecating. Ironic. Quick witted. They tend to put things back on the other person in a subtle humorous way. You as the receiver end feeling off kilter, unsure if they are serious or not. He was likely giving you a hard time because it’s cultural not personal. I see it in Ryan Reynolds, Will Arnett.
Love how you owned this experience!
Thank you
Ryan is the best! You must be lucky to interview him 😮❤
I think you're absolutely lovely. There is no way I could do what you do. Thanks for sharing. ♥
thank you!
I have been LOVING your content! Thank you for being your wonderful self, and keep up the awesome work! 😊
Thank you so much!!
I fell for Ryan in The Gray Man.... he was so good in this movie. I have watched the ending a zillion times 😍
You are so sweet! Congratulations on your TH-cam plaque! A Canadian fan and new subscriber
Thank you!!
Congratulations on 100k subscribers! Came here from Spider's channel just today and already watched 5 videos.
hahaha I love that you shared this! I can't blame you. He's so cute! haha
Lol I’m not an interviewer but I feel like I’ve been there 😂
Ha ha
He’s a total sweetheart! Have a look at his interviews with Alison Hammond they’re hilarious 😂 he probably thought you were cute too 😍
Congratulations on your TH-cam Plaque.
Magnus is cuter, anyway! 😉Such a fun video; love hearing about your 'behind-the-scenes' thoughts in these interviews! I didn't think the interview with Gosling was awkward, but more that the questions you asked him were not questions he was used to getting. You asked him for more personal details about himself, and he seemed like someone who was uncomfortable talking about his real personal feelings, rather than business. But I love how you always ask them for some little personal details, instead of just the usual movie fluff.💜
I saw the Barbie movie for the first time this weekend. Today I will watch it for the third time. Ryan was so good in it. He is definitely perfect for the Ken role.😊
Love all your interviews! Keep them coming!!!!!! Congrats on all the success!
omg I smiled. Love your stories
Awwww! You're adorable. It's okay. We've all been there. I bet if he watches he'll understand, even if not... 😂 it's a long time ago and we all had a good laugh 😃 ❤
Ha ha thank you
wow to your point about putting interviews on youtube instead of selling it to big companies or whatever.
i think it's so so so important.
I've watched so many interviews - so many press tours- over movies that I never bothered to watch.
i'm interested, for some reason, in just natural dialogue. I love the candid moments where they don't have lines, i LOVE the interactions between two people- ESPEcially awkward/obscure ones. Like the parts you cut/people generally cut.
I get so bored with most questions about their movie- I think MOST times the art can speak for itself.
and so on and so on
can you post about your experience with Keanu Reeves by any chance
Yes, please!
Yes, sure I can do that. I met him many times.
@@Flaawsometalkyay thank you!
I never saw anything embarrassing about it. I wish my most embarrassing moments were like yours. 😢 I thought you did a really good job.
Ha ha you are too sweet.
You're right, listening isn't very common practice. I'm not an interviewer by trade, however, I do feel like an interviewer conversation-wise because I have a hard time speaking when a question isn't directly asked of me
Congratulations! Kjersti Flaa
Thank you!
I like how awkward you can be, it makes me feel better about myself. I think we all have those moments in our lives. Sometimes we need to remember that we're humans and it's okay to fail 😅.
Oh my goodness! This is hilarious. Why is being so awkward.
It’s not becoming of him. Dang 😂
hey Kjersty! I was expecting smth much worse😂 really did not find the interview cringy, thought Ryan looked a bit tired that's all🤓
and love the pretty pink color on you 👌🍑
Ha ha you are too nice.
Well done Kjersti!! So well deserved!
Kjersti is so cute😂❤
This is so cute 😅
Congratulations on your beautiful silver award from You Tube❤
Great you are talking about listening. I was good listener till I wasn’t. Now I have to learn again.
ACTUALLY I think he was really thrown off by your beauty and whole personality and didn’t know what to make of it. You honestly look very sure of yourself and quite cute in the interview. I think he was awkwardly flirting with YOU.
Aww
Awwww, you are being way too hard on yourself! It doesn’t seem bad at all. It’s actually a cute conversation, but I get it, you may look back and cringe at past interviews but I believe if you watched this and it wasn’t you doing the interview you would feel this was fine. I think this was cute😊
Aww congratulations on the TH-cam plaque!! Realized I wasn’t subscribed…that is fixed!
Kjserti I have a good idea for your outro! I think your TH-cam page is awesome and I love listening to the interviews your experience with the celebrities. I think it is really fascinating. The sign off could be of course the cheesy don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe, but I think it would be cool because you speak another language to say goodbye in your language at the end of every video I hope so cause I think if you said goodbye, in your language, at the end of every video that it would be an unique way to stand out. PS I would’ve probably been really nervous interviewing Ryan gosling too because he’s so cute and he seems really shy almost like reserved so that would be hard to pry information out of him. Lol.
That’s a great idea. Thank you for being so engaged!! 💗💗
New subscriber here ☺️☺️☺️
You’re so entertaining
You have grown within your profession
I think having humility to acknowledge a flaw in yourself is a huge part of growing
Not just on a personal level but on a professional level as well
You should consider doing voice-over
Just don’t mess up on mispronunciation like Benedict Cumberbatch 🤣
I remember a cringe moment with a guy that was a big lead singer of a band that was popular in Seattle in the early 2000s and I had given him vocal and performance training. He was only a couple years older than me, and it was hard not to crush on him, but I tried to remain professional then he invited me out to see the band play and I showed up, and thought he was singing a song straight to me and the lyrics sounded like they were about me (in my head apparently) and when he got off stage to sit down, he didn’t even acknowledge or recognize me. the next time I saw him in a professional setting he didn’t realize I had even come out to see them play and told me about a girl who thought his songs were about her 😂 I was so embarrassed and it helped me to realize that sometimes our romantic fantasies are simply in our head and it helped bring me back down to earth lol that his job was to make the ladies want him and think he wanted us back 😅
Oh no!! But thank you for sharing. Sounds pretty horrible. 😱
@@Flaawsometalk Lol yes super cringe! and I saw him for the first time in years when I performed in Seattle a couple of months ago. Best story is when I asked Brad Pitt if he wanted a picture with me and he was so flabbergasted that I approached it that way that he simply said yes! I love that picture because I had the audacity to make it about myself. Oh how I miss my 20s! 😂
I actually never liked Ryan gosling until seeing this. His awkward facial expression of wanting to laugh but not wanting to is so relatable lol
YEAH UR RIGHT He's an extremely polite sweetheart, you could watch any interview of his and you'll see what I mean 🌱
I love Ryan too. Like your videos
Haha so cute
I would love to see the whole Ryan Gosling interview... is it posted anywhere?
I actually never posted the first part where we talk about the sweater and I can't find the original tape either. So sorry.
ITS 116K BABY
You have saylormoon skills of flirting, he was trying not to laugh 😂😂😂 ... Was all the gangster movie interview about romance?
Ha ha 😂
You are such a beautiful person :)

Foaling was hot… never saw notebook … idk how I even know him but he has something to him
My fav man, because he reminds me of my high school boyfriend 😅😍
It’s not that embarrassing, Gosling was probably flattered and found it endearing. You weren’t being unprofessional or creepy or anything. Probably made him remember you more ❤ he doesn’t take things like this seriously, just light hearted banter
You are very sweet. Thank you.
I actually don’t think this is as bad as you think it was 😂 😆
Husker deg fra God kveld Norge😂😁
Ahhh!! Så gøy!
You are adorable and wonderful
Thank you. You are very sweet.
No. It’s his fault. He could have been a LOT more engaging.
Honesty, the interview/interaction was not cringy at all. He took an interest in your views, I really liked that. Even though, the back n fourth question answers were very slow, I loved the genuineness of the interview. Thank you for sharing it.

Is there someone not in love with Gosling?? 😅 I don't think so
You are a really lovely woman ❤️🔥
I love u!
Ryan looks awkward and unaccomodating
The mistake you made was continuing down the "romantic" thread of questioning after he already said he didn't agree that he played a lot of roles that were romantic. You are right of course, but to actors in Hollywood getting typecast as romantic lead or being offered only romantic comedy roles is seen as the graveyard where former big actors go to die haha Matthew McConaghey said as much, which is why he took a couple years off and turned down romantic comedy roles. It worked out for him too but he risked going away for good. That's why male actors don't want to admit that they do a lot of those roles and you just kept going on and on with it. We women like romance, so don't beat yourself up for it. You have a healthy attitude about your own f**k ups, as should we all.
😂😂😂
💐👸🏼💕
I think he kind of ‘flirted’ with you each time bc he asked you the question back to you. Is that normal for stars to ask the question back in that vulnerable way? I don’t think so…
Ha ha I don’t know
@@Flaawsometalk that’s probably why you feel awkward about it bc you and Ryan Gosling flirted with each other during an interview 😜 Also you look gorgeous during that interview ❤️
😅😂😍😍

You are so smart, because you found a niche that hadn't been discovered by other TH-camrs or any communicator in general. It seems that happened by chance when you decided to make public the bad experience you had with Blake Lively who, by the way, was all over TH-cam in shorts that showed how crazy is her husband, Ryan Reynolds, about her, such an angel and beautiful woman. Since you posted your video exposing her, all those videos about her husband melting for her have disappeared.
I said that it seems that happened by chance or luck, but you were alert enough to see that there was something new to offer. I am just guessing, because i don't know your whole trip into the TH-cam experience.
Yes, you are right. I discovered that people wanted to listen and that I had something new to offer. Thank you for pointing that out and I am so happy you enjoy the content.
Who wouldn't want to flirt with Gosling! 😋
Me!
