This is an incredible come up. So cool. I really dig how they implemented different aspects of both the inspired models. The Air Jordan 10 is damn fantastic. And I love that it’s not flashy. I love how comfortable they are. Favorite colorway is the powder blue. Wish I still had those but I did not like how stiff the last retro upper was. I still have my Orlando and Shadow colorways though.
It's nice to hear the Jordan 10s getting love. I too find the Jordan 10 the most comfortable out of the Jordan retros I've worn. I had the NYC (2016) and the shoe looked like boots that can be worn with a non-athletic outfit. And of course the Jordan 10 had some iconic moments (most notably the "I'm Back" game on march 19, 1995 and the Double Nickel on March 28, 1995). My favorite colorway would've been a "bred" version of that shoe but the shadows were what we got. Conversely my favorite Jordans (looks wise) are the least comfortable. The Translucent soles become yellow. The soles feel like old chewing bubble gum. The lace locks break off.
dude. yes. had a buddy snag the all black w gold accent 12.5s (I believe that was the CW, but might have been black and white w gold accents) back when they originally released, so I had to cop the all white w red accent 12.5s immediately after seein my buddy’s pair. they pretty worn and creased to hell and back, now, but I still have em’.
A lot of the sneaker community don’t like hybrids but those are nice. I have a pair of the jump man MVP’s and I like them. The combo of the 6,7 & 8 work well with each other.
i actually like the look of some of the hybrids like spizike and 312 legacy low but i dnt find them to comfortable to wear, , maybe its just me and my wide feet but yeah havent worn them as much cuz dnt find them comfortable
@@royguadz I too have wide feet. tbh I wear drop zero shoes (Xero Shoes) most of the time. I wear my Jordans for special occasions when I go out casually or run errands quickly.
I remember the days when people loved the non signature models. I remember the Jordan work’m I loved that shoe because of Quentin Richardson and Mike Bibby! lol so many cool models OG Trunners, spizike, dub zero, pro strong, so much more too! Thanks for the nostalgia!
I'm hoping they bring the melo 5.5 back! Loved that shoe. These were 12.5 were huge in back the day. They were the budget jordans your parents could afford and you didn't mind hooping in them.
I had the White/Red colorway. They were one of the most comfortable shoes to play ball in. Very special to me because they had the durability of the 12s and the firm fit of the 13s. One of my favorite shoes, no question!
QOTD: I'm gonna say 1s, actually: I like that the cupsole is less bulky, especially in the forefoot, and the ankle collar is padded enough not to rub. Because of its age it's a more minimalist design than the decades that followed and that just works better with my feet. For the colorway, it's a tie between the white and grey highs and the burgundy metallic. I'm not mad at the 12.5s. IThey're the product of a design idea that was executed well. I think they're the answer to a question nobody asked, and that's probably why they didn't sell--that, plus the price seems high given the materials, but I guess they're priced on par with other performance basketball sneakers from the era. Thanks for the video. It was a rough weekend over here and it's good to see friends in the TH-cam queue again. Liked and all that, and see you soon!
X Steel was the first jordan I ever had. Made me fall in love with basketball shoes. Can't wait for the next retro of that cw. I also had the triple black par in 05. Copped at niketown in beverly hills while on vacation. just walked right in. Back home (dmv area) they were selling out. Comfortable shoe but they squeaked like hell! lol!
I came across my pair recently. White with the navy blue mesh, and hits of a copper/bronze. The toe box was a white patent leather. Super clean. In the process of cleaning them up.
Weirdly enough it has to be the 12’s/13’s for me, for some reason, all the other Jordan’s I have (1’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s) hurt my ankles after a while of wearing them. so either the 12/13’s hug my ankles just right and feels good walking in them
I think I agree. The 10 might be the most comfortable of them all. I had the venom color way, and there’s just something about that venom green that I still love. And all black shoe with a head of color, classic.
13 and HGG. Black or white socks will both look excellent. Really close second is the Raptor 7s. Favorite 10 colorways would be the infrared. I got the matching Nike Elite socks for those to this day!!
12.5’s along with the 9.5’s, Olympia’s, 15 SE, Icons and early Melo/CP3 models were heavy in my rotation thru my school years. Hope they bring some of these back
The toe cap is pretty controversial. I know MJ didn't like those and there are iterations of the Jordan 10s that don't have toe caps. I prefer no toe caps but the Jordan 10 Shadow (with the toe cap) will come out next year (holiday 2025) and I think I will cop them anyways.
For me, it’s still the 1. So simple and clean. I can still wear them all day at 52 years old. The best colorway is the Chicago’s. That classic colorway is the one!
These are fire. Some of the sneakers you review are deceiving cuz they ALL look good on you and then when I get em wit my Sz 13, not so much. These though, I know they look good cuz they my childhood. Thanks for reminding meeee! I love these!
Get those tabs replaced alomg with a reglue, and those cherry 12'a will be good as new. I forgot about the 12.5 model. I would probably cop a pair if they retroed them. Great video
I still haven't found another j1/15, it had the look of a 1 but the laces were enclosed with a zip up, then had a jumpman zipper cover, loved those shoes
I was working at Champs when these came out and this is the first time in about 15 years I've even thought about the 12.5s. I think these dropped around the time where JB had stopped releasing retros and replaced them with the AJ-AF1 Fusion
Miss this era. There was about a 10 year span (roughly 2005-2015) where a lot of the Jordan team/lifestyle/budget(?) shoes took inspiration or features from the # models and went wild. This is obviously still the case, but the teams back then seemed to have a better handle on design. Often times these offerings were way better looking than the # releases. Now we get a j2 with J3 midsole slapped on and call it a day. I think the last “team” shoe I considered buying was the superfly 4 Marvin the Martian colorway. The only shoes that seem to have survived that era are the Dub Zeroes and the True Flights, which in certain colorways look way better than signatures they’re based on. For reference I still have ds pairs of flight club 80’s, Dub Zeroes, True Flights, ace 23 II’s and even the “grey toe” pair of velocity (not a great shoe, but that grey toe really popped!) QOTD is easy for me, Jordan 2 alternate. Those were like putting squishmallows on your feet and walking around. I believe they had full length air-sole for when Jordan hurt his foot his 2nd season. The only drawback was that they felt “puffy” on feet.
I loved these mash-ups, I always felt like it brought something new to the sneaker work. It's the reason why I liked team Jordans so much back in the day. If your favorite player wasn't wearing the main line Jordan, they almost always had their own team shoe like Eddie Jones. The Jumpman pro quick is still one of my favorite non flagship Jordan. It just felt like Jordan brand was always trying something different or new. And I honestly don't know how to answer the question of most comfortable Jordans since I've only owned 1s, 3s, and 38. I finally bought a pair of 13s, but I've only tried them on so I don't feel comfortable saying anything any them. I personally love the 38 and my favorite colorway of the 38 is the aqua. I try not to wear them that often since they are a dirt/dust magnet
Most comfortable was the xix...had about 20 pairs back in the day and hooped in them all until they broke down. Loved the East colorway cuz it reminded me of my first ever basketball shoe the Fila Grant Hill 2 😍
Bro these were dope. They remind me of when I first went into the Air Force and they had these in the BX where they sold clothes and electronics. But these were sold there and actually carried numbered releases.
I get hesitant to see my Jordans in that mid 2000’s era box with the chrome Jumpman. The last time I opened up a pair in those boxes was my old fire red Mars Blackmon Jordan 4’s. Both the shoe lace wing on the medial side fell off, and the soles slowly separated from the midsole. Glad I actually beat those shoes up back then so I didn’t have to feel bad for them disintegrating on feet for one last wear. QOTD: Jordan 13’s, specially my 2011 Playoffs pair. They are great on and off court, and love how sturdy the leather side panels felt compared to the mesh that most 13’s had.
10s are most comfortable for me too I’ve always said that! And personally I think they are an awesome aesthetic because you can dress them up or down! With the right colorway of course. My favorite colorway, I’m biased because I have them but I’d have to say the SoleFly pair. They are absolutely beautifully done and the materials are top notch! They are definitely a special occasion shoe 😎 Question: If you could go back to the 90s and play professional basketball, which 90s era sneaker would you play in and why?
Man I remember these this is when jordan brand actually made dope hybrids. The 13s r the most comfortable for me and the playoffs colorway is my favorite.
I think it was Tony Kukoc who wore these during the Last Dance Era. This was awesome and it was still almost everywhere in the streets back in the day! Jordan Team Model's Rule!!! Nightwing taking us all back to the Golden 90's again!
It seems to switch during the era they release the shoes. Jordan 10’s has always been comfortable, but recently the Jordan 3 has been feeling like pillows on feet. Now favorite color is the white cement pair that released last year. ☁️ for my 👣
A throwback to when I actually had some athletic ability! Great shoe! For my feet, I have to go with the 6s. I have such a wide foot and they just make my feet happy. I would have to go with the UNC white colorway. I'm a sucker for Carolina blue!
My most comfortable Jordan’s would be a tie between 8 and 11’s. Colorway would be the Jordan 8 that Kobe Bryant wore during his sneaker free agent days and Cool grey 11’s. I wish they would bring back the Jordan Swift edition 😢 more power to your channel, Chris and Jodi. From your big Fan 🫶🏼 from Canada 🇨🇦
haven't got the chance to wear all jordans, but from the ones i've owned, probably the 13 and the 14 because of the cushion and how the uppers fit my feet. colorways i own are 13 flints and 14 last shot.
The 16.5 were also a dope hybrid. I had the cool greys and somehow lost them. I was hoping they made a 3.5 because that would've been the ultimate Jordan hybrid.
1: I'm pretty sure I still have the the flints and breds somewhere. 2: Their was a white and navy colorway that had the lasered side panel. 3: Q.O.T.D. 18's in the og white and blue.
39s are the most comfortable Jordan, imo. I’ve owned at least 2-3 pair of every signature release (except 2009); these are a significant leap in comfort. I can see the 10s for those with wider feet; 31s as well.
13's were always my "most comfortable" of the original run, but I have to be honest, the 36's take the prize now. Nothing pinches, nothing scrapes, they're soft underfoot even with the factory insole. I grab a pair no matter the colorway whenever I see them at a reasonable cost. Favorite colorway of any Jordan will always be the Black/Red/White pallette.
I got to say the tens are low-key one of the most slept on Jordans. Like you said, they seem relatively simple, but just from an overall comfort standpoint, performance standpoint and I even think they look pretty slick. I think they're slept on a lot. As for the question, I got to say it's either the 13 or the 14. It's hard to pick between the two for the 13, the Carolina colorway, for the 14s It's the white and red.
Lets not forget the knicks jordan 10s. Still waiting for those to retro. I’d have to go with the flint jordan 13s. Loved them since the ‘04 retro when i was in high school, and still throw them on constantly today
So far, i'd say any Jordan 13 lows. I can wear those anywhere and anytime without feeling fatigued. My favorite colorway for that model would be the brave blue.
My favorite Jordan for comforts are the Air Jordan 13s, I could wear the Flint colorway everyday easily. I've never had a pair of 10s, so I got my eyes on the charcoal pair that rumored for next year
I love this question but my most comfortable Jordan I've ever worn would have to be the 14s probably. They have just the right amount of balance and firmness, and they lock you in pretty good. I do like the threes but the 14s would just be a little more comfortable. End the 13th to I'm a huge fan of but the 14s would probably be my favorite. And if I had to pick a color, I'd probably pick the white and blue pair, that are leather. Or the black and red pair
It’s not a bad shoe. The functionality is there. If we’re talking about underrated shoes, I myself am fan of the Jumpman Pro. Specially the color way that Eddie Jones used to wear.
For me, it's always been the 3's. Colorway has gotta be the black cement colorway. I've had 3 pairs, and they were so comfortable that I wore each of them until they died!
The throwback pumpkin patch photo screams “WEAR YOUR SHOES” haha. To answer today’s question: I may be in the minority, but I LOVED the French Blue Jordan 9. It looked so clean and just hugged my foot in the right way.
Damn I sold these when I worked at finish line back in the day. The bred color sold pretty well. Back then team Jordan’s were cheap retail was like 125 on em.
Awesome review as always. 👌🏽 This was an interesting pair back then. Sucks that these big brands are all about profit and cut corners on providing the best produck unlike before.
Man I had so many colorways of this shoe. I had this before I had a pair of 13s and to this day was one of my favorite everyday shoes. Plus the price my mom kept getting more. Todays generation couldn’t understand
I like the white & black or black & red 12.5 but might go with the blue if they retro. Comfort wise for me 11s & 12s (tie) 13s I like the 10s but just not sure which colorway I want yet🤔
I love these obscure sneakers, it really does show the history of a shoe company and not just the mainline releases
I had a pair of those. The 12.5's. hooped in them and absolutely loved them! One of my favorite hooping shoes while in college.
I did too. bred. Was $140. Until I failed calculus and my father decided to destroy mine lol
Same. I had the Breds in college and they were good. Definitely not as good as the OG 12s performance-wise, but decent.
You rode the bench or played at the YMCA lol
I made mine smell so bad I wore them so much this same exact pair I got them from a shop called shoe planet

Being from Kentucky, watching freshman Anthony Davis tear opponents hearts out in a pair of old royal 10's made me love that shoe forever.

@@bball3048mm right??? Love the 10s and can’t wait for the powder blues to come back with better materials, similar to the Orlando’s
that gray colorway is dope. these lesser known 2000s models need to come back since y2k is all the rage now.
Especially the Alpha Project series! From basketball, to running and cross-training, those shoes were lit!

Hey Chris,
Me and my 10 month old daughter checking in for today’s video! Thanks for the content! 😎
I liked these too. These were designed by an amazing talent during that Jordan era named Mike DiTullo!
When I saw you unveil the shoes I went downstairs and yes I found my pair as well I had the bred pair. Brought me back memories from when I was a kid.
I gave my white/black pair to goodwill a few months ago. Still in really good shape too. These were awesome.

Thx for the great video, it’s so much fun.
Btw, still waiting to hear Chris’ thoughts on RDJ returning as Dr.doom.
I think the AJ 13’s are one most comfortable Jordan’s out there. The French Blues are one of my favorite color ways.
Daaaaamn so many memories so many feels. I wish they kept doing this. These are way better than any current (hell, any previous as well) JB signature.

haven't got the chance to wear all jordans, but from the ones i've owned, probably the 13 and the 14 because of the cushion and how the uppers fit my feet. colorways i own are 13 flints and 14 last shot.
i loved the original release of the 13s...they where superb,,nothing like the retros.. and from the newer i love the 38s..super comfy
The 16.5 were also a dope hybrid. I had the cool greys and somehow lost them. I was hoping they made a 3.5 because that would've been the ultimate Jordan hybrid.
I freaking love wearing the new Jordan 3s with the PU insole ugh absolute clouds for your feet *chefs kiss*
1: I'm pretty sure I still have the the flints and breds somewhere.
2: Their was a white and navy colorway that had the lasered side panel.
3: Q.O.T.D. 18's in the og white and blue.
Love balling in the 10's! Need those steel reds to retro!
14s man! 14s were soooooooo comfy dog. 13s are good, I still playin in 13s sometimes. But the 14s? Unmatched!
10, 10, 10, 10, 10
Steel, Shadow, Double Nickel, Orlando
I got to say the tens are low-key one of the most slept on Jordans. Like you said, they seem relatively simple, but just from an overall comfort standpoint, performance standpoint and I even think they look pretty slick. I think they're slept on a lot. As for the question, I got to say it's either the 13 or the 14. It's hard to pick between the two for the 13, the Carolina colorway, for the 14s It's the white and red.
Had the all white lows of these back in the day. They were dope.
If we’re talking about underrated shoes,
I myself am fan of the Jumpman Pro. Specially the color way that Eddie Jones used to wear.
AL....go....for....tha rythm
For me, it's always been the 3's. Colorway has gotta be the black cement colorway. I've had 3 pairs, and they were so comfortable that I wore each of them until they died!
Those early day late 90s non mainline shoes are iconic. Ive never seen these before.
Back then team Jordan’s were cheap retail was like 125 on em.
always wanted those, but had to settle for the 16.5. Which I wasn't mad at either!
I miss the days when designers were given freedom. Great things came out when they were. Best example EVERYTHING in the Alpha project
Awesome review as always. 👌🏽
This was an interesting pair back then.
Sucks that these big brands are all about profit and cut corners on providing the best produck unlike before.
I'm going Flint 13s. Keep grindin'!!!
These could pass as a hybrid version of the 14s and 16s and 17s fused together! FIRE SHOE🔥
Jordan 14s are the most comfortable for me. Playing in them felt good too.
Man I had so many colorways of this shoe. I had this before I had a pair of 13s and to this day was one of my favorite everyday shoes. Plus the price my mom kept getting more. Todays generation couldn’t understand
Gotta go with the 4 and 10 for comfort, im good with most colorway but anything with bulls colors would probably my top choice
I like the white & black or black & red 12.5 but might go with the blue if they retro.
Comfort wise for me
11s & 12s (tie)
13s
I like the 10s but just not sure which colorway I want yet🤔
