I'm quitting my job and going on a long vacation to the Philippines, pero si mom (from the Philippines, also a dual citizen) mag sponsor ng flight and spending money sa Philippines. I'm just scared I'll get stopped sa immigration if they realize I'm staying in the Philippines for like 3-4 months and *recently* unemplyed.

The Sponsor has already provided all this information and signed a Sponsor Undertaking to the country issuing the visa and if the Philippines liaised with these countries they’d know that.
It’s impossible to meet these rules e.g. even if the Sponsor goes through all the above bureaucracy can actually get an appointment at the Philippines Embassy 100s of miles away doubling the cost of the original visa how does the sponsor get this original affidavit to the traveller holding the visa? Not that I’d trust original documents with the Philippines Postal Service
You waste money you don't have to spare, that's how.
That is after you've already come to the Philippines to travel with your family you've waited 3 years for the US government to process their visas, then you find out about these B.S. requirements at the airport when immigrations turns you away because you didn't have a CFO. Really, no communication at all.
And its even lovelier because all the Delays on the US visa side of things, means the visas your fiancee and her kid were just interviewed are about to have the medical exams expire, and the timing to get this done and availability of airline tickets, mean you may have to have them travel back to Manila and redo the medical exams.
F'ing Bull$#!% beaurocratic administrative tyranny on the parts of both countries to have a family and be together.

Hello, I'm a bit confused. My wife and I have been married for a little over two years. We lived together in the Philippines for a little over a year. I returned to the U.S. last year. All our documents have been submitted to the National Visa Center and has been accepted and approved, including the Affidavit of Support. It is already in our file on their website. She already passed the medical exam and her interview is in 11 days. We saw nothing on the NVC website stating that we would need to print out the Affidavit of Support, that has already been accepted and approved by NVC, and send it to the Philippine Embassy in the U.S. to have it notarized. Then send it to the Philippines to present to the interviewer at the American Consulate. I think that there is no way that all of this can be accomplished in 11 days. Do you have any recommendations?
Hello the affidavit of support you've prepared for the Visa application is different from the affidavit of support that the Immigration is looking for... 2 types of affidavit of support for US one is for US embassy use only and the other one is for Philippines Immigration compliance. Salamat 😊

Hello sis, mostly po sa ganyang case pag mahigpit ang natapat na immigration officer sa nanay mo pwd siyang ma offload. Friend ko lang po ang nag invite at halos kapatid na po Turingan namin simula pagkabata. May invitation sya sakin at willing sya mag sponsor ng accommodation lang kc kaya ko naman ung other expenses sa travel ko. Gusto lang nya sa house nya ako mag stay. Hello, accommodation is kind of sporsorship so need mo po ng affidavit of support. As friend is accepted po but you may need to present " Proof of relationship " like child hood picture etc. Salamat 🙂

ESponsor ko kasi mama ko na senior na po and concerned lang po ako sa AOS na to kasi sabi ng iba di na daw kailangan. Ok lang na kukuha ako kaso malayo kasi ako sa Ph Embassy sa London.

Hello, affidavit of support in your case is needed then attached your parents bank certificate, passport copy or Valid ID, business documents, proof of relationship like birthcertificate and pictures. Salamat 🙂

Hello, employment doesn't need to be legalized and any English documents are always accepted in the Embassy. If you are applying in Dutch Embassy it is okay to present payslip in Dutch since they are able to understand it thank you ☺️

Hello sis, aside from AOSG and CFO have your proof of relationship, return ticket and proof of Accomodations ready. Meeting for the first time might be difficult if CFO certificate is missing but you have it already. Don't worry and good 🤞thank you for watching ☺️
